Bayern Munich's performance was very good. Mainz was leading by three goals in the first half. Mainz team was very confident that they might win today but they forgot their game against Bayern Munich. The great game that Bayern Munich showed in the second half was really a surprise. The coach was able to lead well. The match ended with a 3-4 goal difference and we can definitely confirm that their performance against PSG in the Champions League will be much better after seeing Bayern Munich's performance. However, we are going to see Bayern Munich team in the Champions League final. Their current confidence will take them to the final.

Bayern Munich deserves Maximum respect, i never expected that comeback from 3 goals deficit and won by 3:4, it's been a long time i saw this kind of comeback. They just showed us today that their fighting spirit is top-notch. Despite that Bayern Munich won this match, they should have reserved them energy to face PSG in the Champions League match instead of the stress and efforts they used for Mainz which is not even an important match because they have already won the Bundesliga, maybe they just want to record that one lose against Augsburg and not lose any other match till they play their last match of the season. It's all good anyway, hope they reproduce this awesome performance when they face Paris Saint Germain.

It’s like Bayern Munich just knowingly lets the opponents take the lead sometimes and then do a comeback..,, Aura farming in the Bundesliga. Three zero down at first half, I was thinking it was a gone match maybe best outcome a draw but I was shocked to see that it ended with a Bayern Munich win.

Which makes UCL situation very hard, and it is not like one game thing neither, they will still play two games until the finals, which means they will have to go play PSG in Paris as well.

I had them on a 1up bet in a combo and you can imagine how furious I was when Bayern Munich conceded a second goal. To make matters worse, they didn’t end there, they went ahead to concede a 3rd goal and I felt like all was lost. Not because they wouldn’t be able to score goals but, I didn’t expect them to play 1up no more and before you know it, they started putting Mainz on way too much pressure. Mainz was a little relaxed in the second half, they probably felt the game was won but, as this Bayern Munich team would have it, they scored 4 goals in no time, incredible.

I avoided Bayern Munic today because of their champions league match against PSG yet they still won and scored as much as 7 goals, what a miss today! Bayern Munic have already won their league because their closest rival cannot catch up with them even if they decided to lose some of their matches, so I was thinking they may even play the match with their third team but I was wrong, they played the match like they play other matches and still won the game clean. If they are able to maintain this scoring skill, it will be hard for PSG to handle them, although PSG is not also a small team especially when they have gotten to the semi final of the champions league.

Bayern Munich just prove to us today that they are ready for PSG in the champions league, because if they can do such a come back in the second half, then PSG are supposed to be more focused and serious in the first leg that is the home game for them, because this performance will be very hard for PSG to endure, and that means Bayern Munich are likely going to be the winner of the champions league title this season.

Although, even without the champions league, they still prove that they are the dominant of Bundesliga, which non of the teams in the league can do the same thing that Bayern Munich are doing. For now they have already won the trophy, which even if they should lost all the remaining 3 games for the season they will still be the winners of the trophy.

Damn, I missed the @5+ odds on Bayern Munich to win. Probably not just me, after going 3 goals down, a lot of bettors lost confidence in backing them.

And yeah, it made sense at the time. When you’re already 3 goals behind, everyone assumes Kompany won’t risk his key players and will rest Kane and others to keep them fresh for the UCL. After they conceded those 3 goals, I stopped watching and thought Munich were done for. Turns out Kompany brought on Olise and Kane, and they managed to turn the game around. Really annoying to miss out on those big odds. 

Three early goals is enough to lose confidence in any team, they appeared as if they can’t play to win the match in the beginning of the match and that was the reason they conceded three straight goals; but they use the second half to win the match which is very impressive and a message to PSG that they are coming.

My main concern is the rate at which they are conceding goals, they need to work on their defense to stop conceding more goals because if they concede such number goals in the Champions League against PSG, they will hardly make it to the final.
Kompany wanted resting his key players for Champions League match, but he decided to bring them in the second half and they did well, they have already been confirmed champions of Bundesliga this season, they only have Champions League to battle with.

Am I the only who feel that PSG is going to win that tie ? I don't know why but something tells that PSG will win Bayern Munich when the two legs have been finalized, if you have watched the way Bayern Munich conceded gaols so easily then you will know that PSG will have a fun time with their fast attacking style of play although I know Bayern Munich has all the capabilities to reply back with goals too but with the better defense I just think that will be the edge that PSG has over them on Tuesday.

Respect for Bayern Munich, i didn't expect this their winning today honestly. I was scared of adding them to my ticket due to the odd they gave them and what really scared me was when their odd was increasing. When i checked livescore i noticed mainz was winning them 3-0   first half, on my mind i said bayern will lose because they've already won the league it later i saw 3-4 seeing bayern winning again then i realised that this guys are serious with their games this season.I hope they'll be in their best form when playing PSG on champions league
and i wish them to win champions league too.

The gap between Dortmund and Leipzig currently stands at only 2 points, but with Dortmund having one more game to play. Tomorrow they play against Freiburg, and it could be a tough game. Borussia lost their last two games, while Freiburg won their last two league matches and are doing surprisingly well in the Europa League Cup, where they advanced to the semi-finals.

I agree, PSG - Bayern would have been a better final than a semifinal. PSG definitely is the team that can beat Bayern, I would have not been very convinced of either Atletico or Arsenal to beat Bayern in aggregate in two games.

Leverkusen still desperately trying to close that gap, but Leipzig and Hoffenheim won their games, which is tough for them. Hoffenheim is still in reach though and Hoffenheim and Stuttgart will be stealing points from each other next week.

Seems like Dortmund can afford to lose those remaining games. Stuttgarts remaining games are tough, including Hoffenheim, Leverkusen and Frankfurt. So apart from the boring fight for the title, there will still be a few exciting games at the end of the season.

I made the mistake of underestimating Bayern Munich, but reading what you say i really think they are a very strong team and you can see it from how they are dominating the German championship.
In my opinion, the test to overcome remains PSG, if they manage to beat them it will put a seal on their superiority.

I think Bayern Munich is not a team which should be underestimated by anyone. Because the way they just settle their value as a good and strong team among all. And I think now Bayern is the only team with the powerful skills which nobody can even create a difficulty for them. And the way they proved themselves in the Bundesliga are nothing but just amazing and incredible and they are not the single time winner of Bundesliga but a continous and consistent winner of the Bundesliga. And now there focus is to win in the champions league which I think will be the great milestone for the Bayern Munich. They defeated Real Madrid which is a good thing and shows their strength but now they have to manage their win against PSG and its like also their test to examine their strength.

If other teams in the league don't work extra hard to raise the standard of their team then Bayern Munich would continue dominating the league. Bayer Leverkusen has shown that it's possible to challenge Bayern Munich but it's their effort that matters plus they'll have to spend on some big signings too and hire a worthy manager like Bayern normally do. It's difficult to see a team that would come from 0:3 to 3:4 but Bayern Munich has down it today.

You're very correct. Bayern Munich stunned the fans all of the world in that game against Mainz, winning effortlessly from 3 goals down after the half time.  After the half time, bloggers and even the commentators were beginning to push a notion equally because that's the first time in almost  a year that Bayern Munich was conceding 3 goals in the first half. Vincent Kompany came back from the break, did his changes and took the game by surprise and scored 4 goals in 30 minutes to seal the game. All I can say is that Vincent Kompany is already writing his name in the history book and history would always remember.
