In my opinion, Arsenal had no chance against Bayern, by the end of the season, Arsenal had lost a lot of ground.
As for the title, Bayern is currently trading at 1.12. To me, that feels like free money. I am always tempted to say that winning Bundesliga is Bayern Munchen's birthright with no obviously strong enough contender in their league for now, unless proven otherwise in coming season. Their major aim should be champions league and not only Bundesliga. I have watched their matches from last season and the season before and my conclusion is same as yours, their problem is their defense and this is why their campaign in UCL last season was cut short by PSG who took advantage of their weak defense to get advantage with lots of early goals. This happens often, but not always, Last season, Lens pursued PSG until the final rounds. And we recently remember how Bayer Leverkusen won the Bundesliga title with Alonso. So, even though such leagues often have a dominant leader, there are sometimes exceptions when they fail to win the title. Dortmund is no more the Bundesliga yellow wall we use to know before, Dortmund before always have players that give Bayern Munich a touch season before allowing them to win the league but now they even struggle to make it to the top four in the end of the season, Bayern Munich has always be the kind of Bundesliga but Dortmund provides talented players in the league, I can remember that Dortmund make Lewandowski, Haaland, Dembele and Bellingham become one of the best players that top clubs got interested in, these players were built by Dortmund and they have give Bayern Munich a tough season.
