Just a heads up to the INFX Community.

the INFX Explorer

http://explorer.influxcoin.xyz is undergoing maintenance.

In the meantime you can use https://chainz.cryptoid.info/infx/ as an alternative for checking the Tx's

can somebody explain me what a Fork is? thx

its the junction where the 'coin' and wallets go in a different direction from the current blockchain ...

changes to the blockchain are usually done with forks - and are usually done by changing the code to work 'differently' ( whether changes in the algo - or wallet - or coin code itself ) ... like a 'fork' in the road that leads to two ( or more ) different directions - so too the blockchain and coin code ...

forks are usually set on a specific block number - so as to allow some time for those that have the older coded wallets to change to the newer coded wallets ... if you stay on the older coded wallets - they remain on the same track and blockchain that they were always on - while everyone else who has 'upgraded' to the newer coded wallets are on the newer blockchain ...

its a lot more complicated than that - but that is the main 'jist' of it ...

if anyone else with more technical knowledge is onhand - please elaborate ...

So how does the staking go for people so far for INFX? Is it working like a charm or what? Just curious cause I got some but they haven't matured yet so I'm not staking just yet lol

That's the smart way to do things.  People get pissed when developers release shit half ass done and not 100% ready to go and then they end up with all these problems because traders are too damn impatient to wait a bit for something Cheesy
