I use blockchain.info for small amounts. I like to try several and use the one I like best. I still haven't found my 'perfect' wallet, but someday.

What is the best bitcoin wallet?

For me the best wallet I have is the ledger wallets I have a couple of them and feel safe enough to not look else where.

I use blockchain as it was the simplest wallet for me to use back when I started

It's not a bad wallet for a hot wallet if you need to spend some money.  But I still recommend you store most in cold wallets.

Paper wallet/offline wallet is better security wise.  Just a lot less risk.

I'm using blockchain also. Is there an offline wallet that is safe ?

Blockchain is web wallet, so it is online and it is considered as a hot wallet.
Cold wallet are paper wallets, hardware wallets like trezor, ledger hardware wallet etc..
These cold wallets are safe enough and you should take care where do you leave these as they contain sensitive information.

I'm using the trezor hardware wallet and I love it.  It's simple yet secure and it makes me feel very professional Tongue
Seriously though, $100 bucks is not that much considering you're getting your own bitcoin safe!

I personally use Coinbase as my main online wallet, have have been using it for quite a while now. I also use Electrum because it is lightweight. If you're looking for a more secure option, go for cold/hardware wallets.

Blockchain for sure is a good choice if you want to store it online, otherwise better is on paper or on a hard disk which you don't use.

if you want to use paper wallet
i think the better choice is print your private key at paper

i use it too, i create unique address with vanitygen (offline PC) use QRcode creator then print it  Wink

mixer! XAPO has all your information and logs your activity , so tracking transactions are easy. and finding a relationship between account and bitcoins that go anywhere is possible.

don't use it if you are looking for anonymity or want to risk your bitcoins since you will be using an online wallet which you don't have the private keys either.

Not really as this is "best bitcoin wallet".  Most of us consider best to be the most secure which just makes sense.  If you did that paper wallet should win most of the time.  Then hardware wallets next, and last regular wallets.

Cold always wins out if done right though.  It just is safer.

Having multiple BTC address's a decent defense to make sure not all you BTC disappears if hacked.  This way you only loose one wallet which is good.

If you have all your eggs in one basket.  It's kinda a single point of failure and you are done.

and if you have to much wallet you will forgot it, don't forget to write it on note or where ever.
