I like the Coinbase wallet, but I use it mostly because I don't have a computer that would be good for running a full node.
It would be *great* if you could run the Bitcoin full node because Bitcoin really needs more of them.

if you are using coinbase just because you dont own a computer, i think it is better to use paper wallet or blockchain.info wallet for you to have full control over your private keys and coins and your money will be much safer than trusting a 3rd party site coz they can be shutdown in rare cases
Blockchain.info does not have any policies for insurance when there is a hacking case. Coinbase is a well known registered company that has been around for many years, they are safer than Blockchain.info. However, Coinbase does not allow transactions associated with certain things like gambling. In this case, SPV wallets like Electrum and Multibit are a much better choice in comparison.

The HD seeds allow users to use their wallet on several other platform which provides the portability that Blockchain.info and Coinbase provides.

yeah some wallets have different pros and cons but as the user "jackson1442" dont have personal computer on his own then i assume electrum and multibit will be out of his choices, so by now coinbase and blockchain.info will be a good choices for him but still depends on where he will use his wallet coz AFAIK coinbase doesnt allow their users to gamble
If you read his post again, he said that he do not have a computer capable of running a full node. If that's the case, Electrum, Multibit consumes very little bandwidth and resources. It would be suitable for the computer. If not, Mycelium, Hive would be great choices too.

For me the best bitcoin wallet is still blockchain, because it's my first bitcoin wallet and it's simple. not using any verification, easy transaction but i hate the confirmation for each we sent bitcoin, because it's take a long time.

the confirmation of each transaction doesnt affected by the blockchain.info as wallet, it is fully depended on blockchain as the network and the miners so no matter what wallet you are using, the confirmation time will still be the same

I'm trying a newer hardware wallet out the keepkey - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1283805.msg13208587#msg13208587

So far it's been pretty good.  I have really just started testing it though.  If your storing a lot of coins it might be one to take a look at if your looking for hardware wallet.

I have seen in the near past some review of KeepKey and seems fantastic.
Sometime i think that it is more advanced than the Trezor hardware wallet.
If i ever choose to have a hardware wallet of course i will buy any of these two.

I really have just started to give it a good testing, so it's early.  It does have some huge pros right out of box.  The screen is beautiful and big for a hardware wallet.  It makes it where no little letters scrolling or other pains with small screen.

Also second is it being substantial.  With it's aluminum case it just feels like your holding something in your hand.   But just holding it you will notice that and no cheap plastic feel.

I still have a lot of testing to do and add to thread.  But as far as out of box impression it does a good job.

The more that people test it and more people leave reviews the better we can compare it with the other hardware wallets.
We should not rush are go to buy this hardware wallet, the time will come and all things will be shows if it really worth having this.
The functions should be primary then the design (like Apple) is good feature too for the user feeling.

Where is at your home, and on the dumbest printer you have.  If you have a old printer with just USB and not all in one... use it.  Also look at way's to clear printers cache. This might be overkill in most cases but it's worth doing.  And also be offline when doing it.  If it's for a lot offline do it blow away OS, have a few writes on HD, then reinstall OS.  Again could be overkill but if using a lot do it.

I still am tinkering with hardware wallet.  I have to say it's kinda nice to have it and access to money so quickly.  I still am not going to put majority of holdings there as I'm early testing.  But so far it's really really nice.

Has anyone used the Copay wallet? It can be used on all platforms and seems pretty convenient because there is an app and it's not web-based.

I think the best wallet for desktop use is Electrum. Hard wallets and such Trezor seems to be praised.. Probably getting that one myself too.

After starting to try one I suggest people look into hardware wallets if you have not.  It is very nice for spending money.   I have been able to easily get BTC when I need to send and is very easy.

And I still feel secure so I really am liking the change so far.   Guess we will see after a few weeks, but I'm guessing I still like it.
