coins are 388 as I type.  I have two choices  buy 1 more s-7  or cash 5 coins.

I have 3 s-7's  and a few compac sticks.  I sold everything else I had last night.

if I order one more s-7  and prices tank it is a pretty greedy move.

Bears and bulls do okay but pigs get slaughtered.

hmm decisions

I would buy coins, we don't need more hashrate on the network.. Kiss

And more info leaked I'm suprised they keep talking to him with all the leaks they must really like him:

avalon delayed the shipment of a6 to the end of this week, bitmain release new s7 now, seems like new s7's hashrate is not stable for single unit, so they want to sell according to real hash rate of miner, the price for large order exceeding 1P hash rate is 430$ per T h/s. so i will sell according to 470$ per T h/s(40$ for psu and other fee). you can reply with how much hashrate you want to buy, then i can decide how much i should order.
Ok
new s7, 470$ per T hash/s Smiley

But interesting thing is 470 per times 4.86 T = 2284.2 , and at over 1P 430 x 4.86 = 2089.8     And current price is 1799 for 1 unit so his numbers don't add up unless they plan on raising them again.

Not sure if good info in the leak or not when I look at prices.  Seems like something might be off when I do the math behind it.

Or you can hold the coins. Grin

It was the winning strategy, definitely, but I have another strategy that helps to mitigate:

1. if I already have the coins and spend them on miner, I instantly replace them. Equal # in and out.
2. If I did not have the coins, then I spend $$ and mentally don't think of these coins as if I am holding them, they become "virtual bitcoin" that I used to get a miner, so as far as these coins are concerned, it is as if the never were in my possession, making profit/loss easier to calculate. Basically, I just spend straight $ on a miner.
I justify it by the fact that I would not buy these bitcoins if i did not want the miner.

You might consider it just mind games, but I find it very helpful.

Does anyone have a spare coupon for Batch 4 or 5?

What coupon? Did Bitmain send out new ones? Last ones expired on Oct 12.

For quality risers, splitters or 133 CFM fans, please visit my eBay listings,

I'm on the fence about ordering one since there doesn't seem to be any used hardware for sale.  If they did issue coupons I'd probably jump on it if I could get my hands on one.

I'm hoping that since they raised it there will be coupons.  But I'm doubting it.  They do not seem to be the coupon type people lately.

There are no new ones, the ones expired back a bit.  But I figured they will get a lot of flak from people who bought with BTC so much lower on last batches.

YAY !!!!

My S7's B3's have arrived !!!  This was an Oct 20th purchase.

The hash boards are Version 1.5 ( printed on the circuit board )

The "model number" sticker says S7 version 1.8

Now to pull the power supplies from the Ol Antminer S2's and fire these pups up.

I do not see any loose heatsinks.... fingers crossed....

So, went ahead and ordered a B5 for 4.759 BTC, B1 order cost me 8.236. If I waited a few more hours, it would have cost me even less BTC.

Nope, nothing yet. I'm curious how long Bitmain will try to wait.
Unfortunately the higher the price goes the less BTC they will refund with because they are calculating with USD.

We're at 4.335 right now.  I am contemplating pulling the trigger myself.  But I am thinking it may only just barely mine that much back in total.  Since I am paying in BTC I want to mine a little more BTC then I pay to make it worth it and I am not entirely sure it will be worth it.

Looks like we may have found the top (for the moment).  I can't get my transactions to confirm for the past couple of hours so I can't buy one right this second as my coins were consolidating (so I can buy one if I decide to) and now they are stuck in limbo.
