imo its getting way overblown. people have axes to grind clearly. where are the victims instead of 3rd parties?
i would personally still trust Quickseller to escrow. specially since that statement about possibility of self escrow was added. i thought that was common knowledge that it might happen. do you think Quickseller is the only widely trusted person engaged in this behavior?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I am still in the process of my investigating but it seems quickseller and BiPolarBob are the same. I have started the accusation but I will build some evidence before making a big show of it

why are you hunting BiPolarBob?
Did he hurt your feelings because you didnt receive something for free?

Leave this thread alone please... QS is a problem big enough already. no reason to add you to this mess (btw whats your main account?)

Why does this matter? BiPolarBob has done nothing wrong. He's given people free stuff and done a lot of successful deals.

It matters if he is the alt of QuicKSeller and his web of lies

Because it means a great chance of something illicit to come. A long con from all his big trust.

wtf!  Grin leave BiPolarBob out of this. Quickseller does not come accross as the type to do giveaways for trust. He uses other methods that dont require spending money.

I'm pretty sure if it was a long con, it has failed.  No one would be stupid enough to give away that much money for the trust he received.

Well, technically if the con is large enough... but then if BPB starts asking for large amounts of money that would be a massive red flag by itself. Even if it's not a long con you have to be wary of sudden changes like that - could be hacked etc.

In any case Scam Investigator needs to come up with something tangible in order to be taken seriously. Right now it just sounds like being jelly for missing out on those giveaways, and trying to piggyback on the whole QS debacle.

vods feedback on quickseller's page
Quote
his user has been pulling the "Bogus escrow" (see Wikipedia) for some time now, taking money from users for protection, while offering zero protection at all since he was not only the escrow, but also one of the involved parties. Theft and fraud.

People started to suspect things, so this user LIED about being banned for three days to throw off suspicion. An administration called him on the lie, and the gig was up for Quickseller - he was removed from Default Trust (DT).

I initially wasn't going to leave feedback (and not because QS said I would be removed from DT if I did) because QS said he was done with escrowing and was leaving the community for a while. That turned out to be a LIE as well, since as of my writing this review, he is actively proposing his escrow scam to still more users.

I do not trust this user one bit. Habitual liar and scam artist.

well vod when quickseller said people who negged him will be removed he was trying to scare people off, but they didnt fall for it, he knew that if he got 1 neg more will follow,
and thats what is happening

Really? Do you seriously think the ~$12 in escrow fees (that I promptly refunded BTW) is sufficient cause for the multiple negative trust ratings that I have received? There have been many others who have had taken much larger amounts of money, for much longer amounts of times that had any negative trust removed after they made their trading partners less than whole (but their trading partners received amounts they agreed to, likely because they believed they would get nothing otherwise) after they made payment.

Not only that, but the practice that I was engaging in was being done out in the open, without a single person showing a single shred of concern about the practice.

perhaps not but the perception of you isn't good right now.  The more you post here, the more it seems you rub people the wrong way.
All the attacks on tsp, the 5 BTC bet thing (what the heck was that about), you're adding fuel to the fire.

Ah, you lied about being banned for three days, out in the open.

How does that work?   Huh

What attacks on tsp? I left him a single rating several months ago, removed it after a large amount of trolling (despite still feeling that he is a scammer), then added it back on when the trolling only got worse. TSP did receive a tip in advance from someone who knew with certainty that QS and panthers were the same person, and used his "tests" to "prove" we were the same person.....a number of others were similarly tipped off via brand new/newbie accounts that I was not banned before it was confirmed by BadBear (in any way).....this is something that I know for a fact.

maybe attack is too strong a word, I think my post echoed the current sentiment. maybe I'm wrong
