I have lost bitcoins in gambling, and still i loose them on that sometimes, and this is only my fault so my vote is for that.I never got scammed which i believe is more bad because in gambling only i am resposible for that, but still you need to be on control of your gambling habits.

Who among in the bitcoin community haven't lost such bitcoins, right? Well, everyone does! Try to recall when you are still a newbie in this business. I know, you just lost your bitcoins too since being a newbie, we are all excited to the fact that we can earn.

Just like me, i lost some of my bitcoin or satoshis when i was still a newbie to this community. I lost it through investment to scammed sites, lost in gambling specially on hi and low games. I wanted so hard to earn before, not thinking that instead of earning, im loosing all of my bitcoins.

For once I have lost bitcoin because of my own fault. One time maybe years ago, I have sent 0.01 BTC to wrong address and I haven't checked it and then I have noticed the address I sent to was wrong and I got sad because of that. That time, that amount meant big to me but I think I have moved on since that time and from then on, I always remember to check the address im sending to before I send BTC.

No. It's an experience that everyone wants to avoid, including me, and that's why I am taking precautions and safety measures to prevent this from happening.

yes I have lost bitcoin, I guess it was my own fault. when I was playing the faucet, then my stupidity when it happened. somehow I press a button on the web page of the deposit. maybe at that time I was a rookie in the search for bitcoin. bitcoin missing at that time was not a lot of just 0,009.

When I was new to bitcoin, I lost a few bitcoins in different ways. The first one, I was gambling and was excited when I was winning. In fact I had doubled my deposit in a very short time. I thought that was lucky day and became greedy. Within a second, I busted all that I had won and all that I had deposited. In the second instance. I found a link on youtube that ws claiming to be a bot that could multiply my bitcoins. I downloaded the boat and tried to use to gamble. when I just clicked to start playing, a saw an error message displayed and the account was zero. That is when I realized I had lost everything to the bot

Of course yes, i think everyone of us did lost some of our bitcoin. I did lost some from an investment site who suddenly turn into scam. I was also got scammed from a peer to peer trade. I go first send my bitcoin without knowing he is a scammer.

I have only ever lost some bitcoin caused by the fault of my own. me when it does not know of a link in any of the taps sites. then I click on a link that connects. not long I was taken to a site for bitcoin deposite. and I lost bitcoin around 0001 because of the automatic link directly connected with my wallet for deposite. very annoying Sad

No, I've never lost Bitcoin
Perhaps because I keep my common sense with when doing trading.

Have you ever lost Bitcoin?

If that happened, why?   Was it your own fault,  or were you scammed?

I lost Bitcoins and Altcoins before.  It was definately my fault due to lossing the passphrase.  I was fortunate that Windows had a feature where I could recall a file back to a state before creating the passphrase.  After that incident, I made multiple copies of the passphrase, private keys, and other important information.
