You will never find an answer if you ask here, no one making money will share their method for the fear of saturation. Open your eyes and scavenge through the many threads, you will find gold nuggets here and there.

Well i dont know but this week were the worst wekk all altcoins lost value ,now looks some altcoin is reborning and being pumped hard, but well its very difficult to invest at any altcoin with such volatility.Old coins ,like doge and litecoin looks more safe to invest .

Because this week bitcoin prices going up so other alt coins are going down. So when btc prices are moving up then better to keep coins in btc

But last time bitcoin prices went up, litecoin prices went up.

Yes that's the reason many people believe in alt coin. When bitcoin make some 25% to 40% leap, litecoin did some 100% bounce. Same time when bitcoin made 20% down fall, litecoin suffered a lot and lose more than 100% in value.

It went into negative?

Yes thats why when one want to invest money in trading should have patience and also need to diversify money in lot of different varieties of trading not just bitcoins and alt coins. Once any one diversify the investments then can minimize the loses in worst condition. So just don't think any one alt coin will rise near future and invest all money in single coin.

The pump and dump days are gone but they might come back: there are always new people who will get close to this world and they will put new money in here.
And trading will become profitable again: it's so sad it works like this though.

Well it wouldn't hurt if you just leave it lying around and see what is going to happen after the halving. It's more like a gamble as there's a chance price would plummet but at the same time with some probablility of it going up as well. But hey what is there to lose.

Why exactly would you think the price would plummet because of the halving?  Huh

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

if you deposit 47BTC and bitcoin price ~$100
now you have 40BTC and bitcoin price ~$300

i think you get a good profit  Wink

Well the reason I mentioned the value was cause of the poster I quoted. But sure, let's forget about it.

It's weird how you don't knowhow to write lose though.  Wink

This sentence have meaning for gambling and not for investing. The real investment, made after the needed analysis, can be risky and this is told and can be known during the previous mentioned action, but never so risky as in gambling when everything is luck and nothing reasoning. In the (right) investment, the normal one, must be the business plans, the way in which the resources will (shall) be managed, the time of returns, the amounts of returns, the probability to not arrive the objectives and t many others data that make possible reasoning about it. So have to do at all with the possibility to lose but with the possibility to win. It is a totally other thing the gambling when your sentence have full right to reign.

Well, you were "unsuccessful" but you still have plenty of BTC to earn way more that lost 7 BTC. I am currently looking into daytrading, etc... Going to setup separate server and bot-trade all the time all the possible combinations... I know its not easy like start and forget but I want to learn new things and possible earn some BTC :-)

Most of the people always target to get back the lost money from the same method they have lose. But some time they get compromised with the price with bitcoin or to dollars which one suits them better. But, quitting trading for that reason is not accepted quit the trading when you are in profit side.

That is true. One shouldn't borrow money for trading. You should buy and ready to wait for long time and sometimes you also ready to book the loses to reduce your further loses.

The big fact is that the most altcoins are only alive for the pump and dump, and well at forex of fiat ,trading will lead some into a  good profit and others will lose, there is always a two sides, but well the only one who wins is the exchanger owner.

Hold on to those 7 BTC you have. Wait till the upcoming halving, keeping in mind the recent trend you might make more profit than you know. Think of investing in something long-term till then.
