I mean from the looks of it you learned a lot about trading and I think you have a much better chance of making great profits this time. When I started I lost a bit of money, but I still continued with trading and have my word I have made a lot of profit.

That's way better that trading if trading is not your passion, you know what? Most of the successful traders treat their jobs as their passion that's why they are very successful in that their journey and we know not all people has the passion in trading and maybe you are one of those people.

Investing in gambling sites on the other hand is what you called a guaranteed investment which will secure you an income because they win most of the time if not all the time.

Those early adopters  does really have a  hard time   to keep all of those  coins  for  how  many years, as you mentioned there are really  situations  that  we would be tempted to   sold those  bitcoins on the current price. Exactly, it was mentioned by the OP.. He gave time so much in trading but for that long span of time he was not successful. Indeed. Try your luck to other types of investment maybe trading is not too good for you. But quitting is not the best resolution for you maybe you just need time to learn about trading because your knowledge is the key to your success.

Patience would  really need when we are in the middle  of trading activity  because  price movements doesnt happen  every  minute or  hour or even days. It would really take time and   the profits  would still depend  on a certain movement.  In the situation of  OP  he decided  to quit  because he see trading  is  not really for  him  no matter how  hard  he tried.

It's not worth it to quit because it needs more time to increase profit in trading, sometimes it decreases and also increases it's trend so we must be able to be positive in our mind that its normal in trading that's not a reason for quiting on it. Time goes by the amount you've traded will increase its profit so don't be discouraged this time, patience is the key to overcome it.

Do anything you want with it. Build a business for the future. Or just gamble it if you don't care losing it. Buy something for yourself or treat someone you love. 40 btc is big enough to treat yourself for one day or invest it to something or building a business.
