So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.
I Think that it Happens With You Because When You are New to Trading then You Deposited 47 Btc in Trading and I Know You Have Knowledge About Trading But I Think that You have Less Experience about Trading that's the Reason You Lost 7 Btc In Trading Or You Focus on Earning at Beginning and Don't Focus On Learning That's also Can Be A Reason For Your Losses......
You have a  point  but   considering on the price of bitcoin 2 years  ago when  op put  it  up  into trading  is quite  low compared as  of todays and   also   2 years is already  long   and for sure you would  really learn about trading  , it may takes  more time  but  2 years  would   be  enough  but it seems  OP isnt effective on trading thats why  he decided to  quit  to prevent more lose which is  a  good decision to me.
Thats true OP have lose big amount of bitcoin and now trading is much risky because they are more shitcoins aroun in the exchanger now.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Try C-cex. It is to easy to understand it. Better not to put all of your money in just one coin.

Maybe it's better to take a few months distance from trading where you purely focus on what exactly you did wrong.

Mistakes where you experience some losses are normal at the beginning, but the main point is that you learn from your trading errors and turn them into profitable trades after a while.

But it will be good to know what exactly you were trading. If it was Bitcoin, then all the above mentioned apply, but if you're talking about altcoins, then it's different.

The altcoin industry is purely based on hype and speculation around trending coins. You either need a lot luck to make profits, or you need insider information when you're close to the devs.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

Its  really good to  put  up  money when you saw theres a  potential  or opportunity that we could able to earn from it.  Trading  may not  for us  for some   time but  with  the help of others such  as giving   us some  tips we could somehow  follow them and  luckily could able  to make profits. Quiting  is not  a way though   but   if  you learn  how  to  dive  up  opportunities  then  its really a good  move anytime.

It is the right decision what you took, when you feel that you are giving too much of time and not earning well then it is much better to take a break and come back with full energy or you can always have a watch on the market and when ever their is any good investment option you can just enter and enjoy the profit.

Do anything you want with it. Build a business for the future. Or just gamble it if you don't care losing it. Buy something for yourself or treat someone you love. 40 btc is big enough to treat yourself for one day or invest it to something or building a business.
Build a business needs time to run and manage it. I think he should hold the bitcoins for future or say retirement because maybe the price of bitcoins by the time he retires get around 2000-5000$ then he would be really having a relaxed old age without the need of doing anything.

I suggest you build up a business from your 40btc. From it you can start a small business on your own or try to invest it to some brokers if you do not have the time for trading. Of course choose a broker that has a high trust rating and have a excellent performance in the market. Use your 40btc to earn more.
you are right that build up your business from 40BTC and i think 40 Btc is enough amount for establish your business and i see that there is many people have do not time for trading and then they want to establish their own real business and if you get hard work for your business then i hope you will get success in your business.

I appreciate the OPs honest post. He was smart enough to call it quits before he lost more. Was he trading altcoins? If so, a good lesson for everyone.

Holding bitcoin is the only "relatively" safe way to grow your investment. Wait for it to go up and sell. Wait for it to go down and buy.  Its a waiting game and those with patience win.

No fast money in altcoins anymore unless you are on the inside of a scam or pump.

That is true. That is really the one thing that I hate a lot in trading cryptocurrencies - the pump and dump. Although, I am not really affected to it, but I was and so with the new comers in trading crypto currencies. Most of the victims here are the new ones and they easily lose a lot of their bankroll because of these pump and dump.

I think that you need to look into something that doesn't carry as much risk as trading to be honest. Trading altcoins can be really dangerous and the risks often outweigh the rewards. Perhaps try something risk free like arbitrage betting?

I am not sure if arbitrage betting is a risk free. In everything, there will always be risk. We encounter risk everyday n our lives. Even when we drive going to our destinations, there is a risk for accidents and other untoward incidents. It would be a matter of personal resolution to equip your self with the required amount of knowledge and skills to mitigate risk and you will be good to go..

You can do your research and I tell you in advance that it's risk free. However, the journey is not that easy for everyone to make money in arbitrage trading because you have to monitor the price of every exchange sites if possible and just take advantage of the price movement if you can.

hmmn. It is really risk free? Sounds interesting. If it is really, it takes some skills and great amount of knowledge how to perform this. It is like driving a car, if you are the kind of defensive and responsible driver, the risk of getting an accident is very slim. Hmm.. interesting. will check it in my free time  betting arbitrage

As far as I can tell, arbitrage betting is still prone to a number of risks (provided we are talking about sports betting and arbitrage thereof). First of all, it is a systemic risk (i.e. risk which is not associated with any one individual) of a bookmaker going bust, getting hacked or just running away with the money. If these things happen all the time with Bitcoin exchanges and casinos, why do you think it will be different with sports bookmakers? Besides that, there are also smaller risks, for example, many, if not all, bookmakers have a clause in their terms and conditions according to which they can cancel the bet at any time if they think they made an error in their odds. In the case of arbitrage betting that outright leaves your other bet totally uncovered...

What is bad, there is basically nothing that you can do to avoid such risks

Thanks, that was really my point that there will always be a risk. although in this case the risk is minimal when in terms of winning or losing the game but the bigger risk is your money being stolen away from you. Hence, there is really risk free investment and gambling around - we just need to keep playing safe.

I don't think someone can actually leave trading just when there are so much good projects to invest with.
If you got into crypto trading, that means you have been into bitcoin for more than months already. I don't think you would want to back away from bitcoin for good, you will always come around.

That is already irrelevant to the topic, arbitrage betting in sports does not pose any risk on winning as long as you can fine a good line to do your arbitrage betting. We are not talking here of the possibility of getting hack.
