Can gambling be profitable in long term ?

Certainly no. Gambling don't give constant profit. It's not good idea also to play for long term since we are more likely to lose if we do that so. Gambling would be profitbale for short term so the control is in favor of you.

Gambling depends purely on luck for all EV- games and the odds are against you. You cannot expect to beat the casino and loot a big jackpot in a single bet. Many people have become beggars by simply making huge bets for days and still never winning the jackpot. Even if they would have won they would probably be in a negative profit zone, meaning that the amount they lost is far greater than what they won - rendering the winning of jackpot completely useless if they really did win it. Hence it totally depends on luck and so dont think of gambling like a short term or long term investment.

nah i dont think so, if only when you can predict when or what day you are gonna be lucky on gambling then that will be the time you will play on your lucky day, but it is very impossible. I think gambling are profitable but in very rare cases. while for most of the people gambling is not profitable but most of the people are in fact losing money in gambling. it can only be profitable if you have good luck  and have some experience in gambling and having gambling skill

I think gambling are profitable but in very rare cases. while for most of the people gambling is not profitable but most of the people are in fact losing money in gambling.

There really are times where people earn profits from gambling especially people who place their bets on sports betting.

Sports betting mostly is the type of gambling where people mostly win their bets. Unlike dice games where there are slight of winning because it requires a huge amount of luck. But even if these happen, many people lost their money from gambling but still not stopping and still continuing to gamble risking their money to get an income.

Yes it is possible if you have a large bank roll and your profit goal is only 1% - 5% of your current bank roll.

Let say if you have 10 btc and your target per day to prevent loses is 1% only of your current bank roll.

10 btc * 1% = 0.1 BTC per day that's not to much but you can easily gain that 0.1 btc in a super low risk.

Like I said it wouldn't be something that you can control and you could just improve your chances in winning with strategies and of course with experience. Don't ever think of gambling as a job because it is not a consistent income, knowing that you could lose more because of it.

You are fully correct, but the thing is that the casino advertisements are put up in a such a manner that it seems that one can easily win a big jackpot in minutes. This makes many people fall prey of their hidden greed and thus they start playing. Again there are many people play for fun as well. So for them winning is not a very important thing but having fun is more important. Hence do gambling for fun and not for becoming a millionaire.

Unlikely IMO, Gambling might be profitable on short term on 4-5 dice rolls or the like, but on long term it's not like that, since the negative odds of winning known as the casino house edge accumulate, giving a user a negative profit over the long term.

You might have read my post and you misunderstand me. I may have wrote this however I dont say that it is likely to win in short term. The only better chance to win is to play short term and hope that you have a 'good luck' without any luck at all then you wont win anything because gambling is pretty much as simple as that

The post I quoted above simply tells that the more you gamble, the more chances of you losing.
So really, when you win at the beginning, to keep it, you just need to stay away from gambling every now and then.

I am really good at advises, though its very hard for me to do such.
