What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin?

My least favorite thing about Bitcoin is that it's currently not able to compete with other coins.

So that means it misses out on:

1) New and exciting uses for the block chain (think Ethereum)
2) It cannot scale (But lightning network is around the corner right?)
3) It's as open as day and currencies like Monero simply blow it right out of the water.

Now side chains might be a solution, but I've heard that side chains are quite weak and a 51% attack doesn't just allow you to double spend, a 51% attack allows an attacker to steal all of the coins on a side chain. (At least this is how it was described to me when the side chains were first announced).

Even if Bitcoin could have a Monero like side chain, it may never be as secure.

I wouldn't mind being proven wrong here.

Since I joined in bitcoin world, I joined in different signature campaign then there is a weekly payment which is BTC, That's what I like most bitcoin payday weekly. And when I transferred it into cash according to my country currency.

The question is what is your least favorite thing about favorite thing about Bitcoin.And bitcoin exist beyond this forum too.
Anyway I think unstable price of bitcoin is my both favorite and least favorite thing.I think prices should not fluctuate that frequently

haha me too.! the unstable price is my least favorite but also favorite characteristics of bitcoin because if im not really into trading so when the price goes down it makes me the bitcoin least favorite because of the price but if it is rising then its my favorite!haha like now the rising price of bitcoin is my favorite

Well there's a lot of signature campaign in this forum depends on what signature what you are applying for because some of campaign manager are too strict when it comes of posting some signature campaign are paying lots so that we can easily get free bitcoin weekly .

But if there is no price fluctuations then there will be no opportunity to make profits, it can be annoying for new investors who wants to invest their money in it.

My least favorite thing with Bitcoin is that it sometimes can be a while before a nice and high price comes by so that we can sell again.
You will have to be patient with Bitcoin but sometimes it can be months before something good happens again.

My favorite thing when I get some bitcoin went into my wallet. The wonderful thing in my life, Because when the result of hard work to earn bitcoin withdrawal from the faucet managed to get into my wallet. : D even though it looks very small but it is the result of real work.

Actually you can do it with any currency, altcoins, fiat, etc...

And for sure it's more profitable with alts, and more risky too of course.

The thing I actually hate about Bitcoin is that I can't use it much offline yet!

I can't buy whatever I want in any shop I want without having to convert to fiat.
I haven't even found a single physical shop in my area where bitcoin is accepted!
Even online, there's maybe only a couple shops where they accept bitcoins, but the prices are quite high.(local)
Confirmations.
Restrictions with regards to use/buy/sell via paypal,skrill,etc.(reversible payments.)

BUT still, most of the I things I don't like will probably be improved in the future.
Just gotta be patient until mass adoption happens.

Yes once we get scammed there is no way out to recover our coins and that is the big problem about bitcoin and due to those scammers people who wants to get into bitcoin will think twice whether to invest in bitcoin or not.

That's true. Time difference between block 434412 and block 434413 is more than an hour!

I think it would be the sudden fluctuation of prices if there is a hack because the price would dive up to $100 below the current price and then it would take months to go back again to that amount.When you bought before the hack happened so it would be a big loss for you especially for those people who do day trading. It would be hard to recover and if they can't wait for months to even break even and sell even if they are in a loss then its unfortunate.

Yeah most of the users would be complaining for the same and its very annoying when you need money at the time of emergencies and at that time waiting for confirmation is very frustrating.

my favorite thing about bitcoin is i can send it from any wallet with have filled with bitcoin with small fee. the fast transaction and no need to wait too long. beside that, with bitcoin, now i can make money and this is my favorite.

Time may depend on transaction fee most of the times but sometimes transaction may also clog the network slowing down the confirmation. However waiting 20-30 minute is better than waiting for several days for deposit via bank wire transfer, international transfers as well as there will be no fear of refund claim from fake buyers after payment in paypal and credit cards.
