Ka1: 3 votes (boolberry, GoldTiger69, Morecoin)

I really wanted to vote for 34.Kc2 to get out king our of the corner. Sadly, it will not work because after 34.Kc2 Nxa2 35.Ra1 Nb4+ 36.Kc3 Nc6 37.Rxa3 Nd4 our position will fall apart due to the awkward position of our pieces and weak kingside pawns.

Maybe a little of self confidence would make us think better, because the way I see it, we can still make some moves to improve our position; just remember: if you think you are lost, then you really are already Wink

If we didn't move the f pawn, the next move for black, (after Nc3+, ofc), would it be Ne4, and then we would loose the f and the h pawn.

Ah I see. Thank you.

Sorry for being late with the update today. As always feel free to update the position yourself (just click on the board graphic for a web based board editor) if you do not want to wait for me.

Rh2: 1 vote (GoldTiger69)

I think that move is better than Ne4, because it makes the black Knight to move away.

If 35.Rh2 Nd4 36.Rf2 (or Rh3) b5 and all of our pieces are relegated to passive defense. I vote for trying to activate our king.

I was too late to vote this time so Rh2 wins by our tiebreaker rule (first to reach 2 votes).

Nd4: 1 vote (mathgal23)

Move 17 and 19 (a4 and a3) really paid off for us. Our king and knight are perfectly placed.

Almost time to start wreaking some havoc with our rook!

I agree we need to protect the pawn now, but activating our king needs to be our next priority.
