Hello Aeoners. Is HitBTC very slow right now or is it only me? I have been trying to open the exchange but it freezes and it is very unusable. Are the having a big inflow of new people trading over there like it did with Poloniex 3 months ago?

I've heard from several reliable sources that HitBTC are selective scamming their users, avoid like the plague.

There used to be a channel on a Monero slack, I was told (never joined it) and it was gatewayed to IRC. Don't know if that still exists.

You can read all about the technical details at the Aeon ANN thread. But yes, it has the same code base because it was forked from Monero. One of the Monero lead developers is also the developer of Aeon.

Before investing let it be known to you that development is almost like a leisure activity for smooth. Do not expect anything big.

This does not look good anymore. The lower trend line has been broken and I speculate we might see Aeon go down to 10k satoshis before the end of the year. Good luck to us loyal supporters and bag holders.

LOL, it's been 8-10K on hitbtc for a while and will go to 6K today. on bitrex the price will hit 10K in less when a week! let's face the truth, the coin is dead, the dev abandoned it and just steals time with vague messages. if you want to exit with at least some money at all, now is a bit late, but still possible. in a month this coin would be 3-5K with no buyers at all! people who got it at 10-13K will fill like ones who bought it at 30K

This is the latest chart for Aeon. We need to get back to 20k satoshis to get the trend back. But that is not going to happen anytime near unless smooth has a surprise announcement that the rebase is done with LMDB included.

The good news is there are 2 more Aeon pools set up. That shows that there are still people out there with an interest in unadulterated proof of work altcoins.

@megadeth. Which should not be. I do not know what that buyer is trying to do. He cannot withdraw his Aeon from Bittrex because the exchange has it still disabled until smooth has the new update released.

Maybe he is making an effort to put it back in the trending range.

As long as Aeon stores the blockchain in RAM a mobile wallet is hardly feasible because of the memory requirements.
