Currently I'm just holding. I'm not investing a large portion of the bitcoins I own. I'm afraid of putting it into too risky investments. What could I do with it not running much risks?
There are safe miners and faucets out there right? I think you should try and invest your spare and idle coins. That's the idea of all these. To grow your funds..

I have some coins idling around in my wallet but I cannot bear to put it in hyip or risk it. But it is a waste to let it idle around. Yes. I have coins in some "lower risk" hyips to generate some interest which I'm prepared to write off. I also have some coins converted to hashing power in hashnest and BW.com but it has to be monitored else you will suffer a loss instead. Unlike fiat currencies, I cannot park these coins into banks backed by governmental institutions. I put my fiat currencies in banks or blue chips but I cannot do it with cryptos. So, what do you do with your idle coins? Let it sit around? Bitcoin is deflationary and over the past the value has always gone up so your coins are earning some of the best interest rates ever seen even though it looks like they are sat around. Any investment to store your coins with someone else is going to come with risk for the % gains its probably not worth it for most of your stash.

I hold them, Been looking for a long while now for a field that I can invest BTC into and did not find any reasonable field yet, High-risk investments or gambling are out of the question, Trading is also like gambling since the market movement can not be guaranteed, loaning is a bad idea, no reliable banks or sites offering interest.

I either hold the majority of my coins in a TREZOR hardware wallet, or sometimes I lend them in Poloniex to margin traders for a nice ~0.15% gain daily.

I never like to see some idle bitcoins in my wallet. My preference is that if we have bitcoins we must use them in some constructive work and try to attract more bitcoins with it. I have friends who always need loans. So I sometimes ask my idle coins to get to my friend and come back with little friends known as interest.

This thread is helpful, anyone can give advice to me, I have a 0.8 BTC on the wallet and the unemployed I'm confused, I want to invest but are afraid of being cheated Instead of leave it idle, won't it be better if you grow it by trade them? With altcoin, I mean. Their fluctuation is quite fast, and though -inevitably- you'll got some lost on one or two occasion, but you'll got some profit too, its surely better than letting it idle

There's a part of it that I just leave them in my hardware wallet. About 40% of it I invest in loans and this type of thing. Helps keep balanced the risk versus the profits I can make from those values.

I have no idle coins , but when I have I try to invest them here and there for short term profits. Sometimes I make sites and all and invest money there, later sell the niche or sites for a higher price, hard to see BTC accumulate with me in my wallet

I mostly trade my bitcoin so I don't really have that many idle coins. If I do have any spare coins, I keep them in my cold wallet.

No idle coins. No point in having idle coins. I use all my coins to invest, lend, gamble, spend, anything but idle.
If we all keep coins idle, how the fuck is crypto going to grow.

I got a hard time letting coins sit. Not gonna lie. I like trading some bitcoin here and there for other coins like DASH and some others. Never made much money doing so however. Trading is tough, man. So I guess the coins aren't idle anymore if I'm trading them, are they? Idle coins just sit...idle.

If the original Backside walkaround can prove to me they are the old owner of this account, I can update the email address to the email address of their choosing. Backside walkaround has lost access to their account as they used someone else's email address to sign up, and the owner of the email address got tired of random email notifications from this site after a few months and reset the password.
