All my coins are in my bitcoin wallet. I do not think there is a safe way to invest my coins for the time being.
yes you are right though if you actually are holding your coins in an online wallet right now it is not safe

i keep it all in my cold storage right now because i actually believe that it is the safest way to keep it
save money on the online wallet might be safer if activate 2FA or other security. but although already doing that, risks to get hacked or maybe the site was attacked definitely there, better take a step which is absolutely safe to save our own money

ith my idle coins i think i should lend it to some one and invest it so in the long run i will make a profit with the idle coins

Lending too is risky..sometimes those who asks a loan runaway, lucky if they give you a good collateral.. I don't think that it is a wise decision..Trading could be a good idea, but  If you still have no idea on where to use it, I suggest that you just keep it idle..

Just holding them would be the best investment IMO, there are no safe or good bitcoin investments now and keeping them and waiting for the price to improve would be best IMO.

To say there is no good Bitcoin investments when Bitcoin is so young is very wrong lol I have made many good investments and am likely to make many more. Granted not all are safe but that is the name of the game. Saving your coin and not touching them can backfire but I will leave that for you to decide.

Yes, I'm almost doing the same thing because its the easiest way to make a lot of profit and its also very secure and only with the bitcoin risks itself has.
I got 2 wallets with idle coins, one for a short term for this year and the halving and one for a long term that I'm gonna hold for a amount of 10 years maybe.

Indeed, I think the most people are doing this because its easy and also very good to do, if you think about the future the bitcoin has there is a good chance that the bitcoin is gonna rise to a very high amount soon or later.
Keeping them now and do nothing with your idle coins is the best thing for this year also due to the halving that is coming, it will most likely the price rise to a higher amount so we can make profit with our idle coins right ?

I have some coins idling around in my wallet but I cannot bear to put it in hyip or risk it. But it is a waste to let it idle around. Yes. I have coins in some "lower risk" hyips to generate some interest which I'm prepared to write off. I also have some coins converted to hashing power in hashnest and BW.com but it has to be monitored else you will suffer a loss instead.  Grin

Unlike fiat currencies, I cannot park these coins into banks backed by governmental institutions. I put my fiat currencies in banks or blue chips but I cannot do it with cryptos.

So, what do you do with your idle coins? Let it sit around?
I let most of them sit around for future. The rest I invest in bitcoin trading.I usually go for short term trading with minimal profit because I want to play it safe.Long term trading gives higher return but is also highly risky

Just keeping them there is the least risky way to go about it,  but I also traded them up a few times with exchanges for altcoins.

Is is profitable to exchange altcoins for bitcoin. I found users who do trading with alts and with the profit invest in bitcoin.

There aren't that many people who are actually successful when it comes to trading, since trading is a zero-sum activity.

I guess some people are able to make money, but it is quite easy to get caught on the poor end of any for of trading, unless you have experience.

I am storing most of my coins in a secure web wallet with 2fa on and for daily expenses I use another wallet with no transaction fees so I am trying to save as much satoshis as possible   Grin Anyway idle coins make no money by themselves however I don't like investing much so I am happy the way it is for now.

I have many idle coins in my bitcoin wallet. They have been there for a long time and I just save up with it. If the price increases of BTC then I will sell. (Exchanging). But overall, I just save.

I have a part of bitcoin and i just see them lying in my wallet. I just try to earn more and keep on accumulating them there. Just waiting for the price increase as that would benefit all of us.
