Let's not fool ourselves. Banks are infinitely safer at this point in time. Sure, we can all spread FUD about how evil and insecure they are, but in a bank, our money is Federally ensured regardless of the circumstance.

I cannot speak for everyone on earth, but in the United States, your money deposited into banks are Federally ensured (up to $250,000 I believe). This is infinitely more secure than the 0 insurance associated with a Bitcoin wallet.

And when the banks introduce negative interest rates to save themselves again?

I am not using biutcoin wallets only the wallets who can store local because i dont trust the wallets online and banks are only used by my money i would pick a bank above the bitcoin wallet for sure!

Yes, the two is both vital and needed for its different purpose.  And it is better if you have both.  Unfortunately I only have bitcoin wallet.  I hope to increase my income with bitcoin so I could open up a savings account to put some money that I earned from bitcoin.  Bitcoin wallet I think is much better compared to bitcoin since bitcoin price can goes up and eventually keeping your bitcoin will give you more income just by leaving it there.

If you need to choose between these two you should pick the right one like a bank would never give up on your money i know for sure that allot of peopel would pick banks above wallets.

Yes, in bank our money is safe and you dont have to check it regularly and best for storing our money. unlike in bitcoin the value is unstable your money might increase of decrease, its still depends on the user on what is his preference.

True bitcoin is much more safety than bitcoin wallet and it has more features that we can use in banks we just loan big money if we had a good job and good salary but in bitcoin you will need some colateral and it has no idea if you are going to get some loans from a member and etc who are offering loans.

I prefer the bank because it still stays a bit safer if you are asking me and it has a great future too due to that I think that the bitcoin wallet is also good but its not very good secured sometimes.

I agree with you . BANK more guarantees for the safety aspect. they already have the guarantor is a government institution.
bitcoin while still anonymouse so there is no institution that guarantees the existence of bitcoin.

Thinking the same to be honest because its safe and does not has a lot of issues too, you can simply use the bank and I do also not care about that they control it.

The only one that cares about your money is yourself banks don’t care, even if banks and governments state they guarantee your funds that is nothing but a lie, if a small portion of the banks were unable to pay the money back, then the government will be unable to cover your savings.

At this point there is no way to avoid using banks for people in their daily lives. People that choose for Bitcoin aren't serious, or they just say so to bump their post count. There is absolutely no need to choose between one of the two when you can work with both perfectly fine.

We can't remove the fact that we really need to use banks as they are all important to our lives and also the government needs it too.

Because they are the one that is regulating the economy of a country for the financial things. And of course bitcoin wallets are important too.

And in the first place, why avoid banks if there are lots of good services they are offering to make people's financial life comfortable? Some people here thinks that bitcoin can do all the things that bank can do.

Simple as this, if people don't want bank then not use it. Just avoid making such statement about misleading thing about banks as all banks are different in the whole world.

We are still living in a time where fiat is still what majority use. Bitcoin is our option if we want to  have a savings and an investment in one. You are right and it does not hurt to have both. At least you can have the best of both worlds. If someday bitcoins is widely adopted and you can spend it easily as fiat, then you can chose to put all your money in bitcoin.

Indeed also a bank is a safe place to put your money in most countries because you are insured to get a max. amount of money back when they go bankrupt so until you are under that amount then you are safe. Bitcoin wallet is very nice cause your your own boss of your money

I guess you are forgetting one common fact of investment would be savings too, as per your statement I believe you do not need banks as your investment with bitcoin could be your savings and also it will be highly secured to fulfil your expectations.

Still going for bank even after knowing all the benefits of bitcoins, I guess it is highly due to lack of knowledge or ignorance of getting into a better system.

I am really much preferred in bitcoin wallet than a bank. For sure this thing is also the majority answer of the community here. It is because very safe safe, convenient, fast and low charge fee for every transaction.

A bank is more safe to have your money on ofcourse but if you like to manage your own money and be the own boss over your money with as much freedom as possible then go for bitcoin wallet cause thats the most freedom in a valuta your going to find.

I would like it very much if there is something like a bank in bitcoin, where you deposit the BTC and get a stable interest on it like usual banks, I wouldn't be using it to send my transactions though and would use a normal wallet.. a bank is not with decentralization but useful for users..

The big difference between bank and bitcoin wallet is that banks are only for good people without a track record of crime committed or a criminal, if you save your money in the bank and you are involved in money laundering the bank can easily freeze your account and that is all gone, in bitcoin wallet it does not matter.
