Looks like TX has really bad devs. Why? Because they don't manipulate and pump their child!  Grin

If devs wont pump TX, it goes nowhere. Who needs those top notch features?!

Devs, please prove you can do something very special. Something unseen in crypto. Please do pump your coin, this will be such innovative thing.

Otherwise this project is rubbish.

are you feeling a bit down on your hodling bags Brightlight?

TX is actually one of the coins that is leading the charge in new decent Alts, I just got the wallet today, very slick...

I am across very similar coins to you as we keep popping up in same threads.

TX has been preforming really well lately, doubled  in a month.... are you not entertained??!??

Hey guys., I am happy holding TX. My negative sentiment is about HiRE type coins. All is about scam and fooling people. The whole world is just about that. As always, a huge efforts creating things, functions, etc should go hard way with a big possibility not to be highlited, accepted by larger masses.

Is a bootstrap file needed to get the wallet syncing? had it running awhile but keep flickering between 1 and no connections, no blocks downloaded yet.

I am having a problem getting a solid connection i get 1 active connection for a few seconds and
then right back to zero i am wondering if my internet provider is blocking the connection Huh

Here is the transfer.conf that is linked in the OP it has nodes included. Use that and then restart the wallet.

https://mega.nz/#!jdEF2bwA!e8_gVDIWnSe35HxH6rhfFIzYqQtvOLgoVi7EGnyjQ1g

I did that as well but still won't connect.

Try using this port=9999 instead of 17170

Also add the below line above the nodes list.

maxorphanblocks=10000

it seems to be working now i have two connections thanks bro Smiley

try above, i dont think anyone uploads a bootstrap yet

When I set up a new wallet I copy an existing, up to date data directory and delete
the wallet.dat. Start the wallet and a new wallet.dat is created. A solution would
be to put up a sync'ed data directory for downloading. The data directory
is not operating system dependent i.e can be used on Window or Linux (I have tried
 it and it works).

This wallet setup must be transparent to attract new investors and it is not rocket science to
make it seamless. I think there is code called 'DNS seeding' that negates addnode for
the wallet. An alternative would be to provide an addnode node list for a few permanent
masternode addresses.

Well most people have no trouble syncing, the community is just here to help those that do

Using a bootstrap file is very similar to just copying the data directory. It is the more correct way to do things I believe. (not sure if it really makes a difference)

How to use the bootstrap when syncing a wallet for the first time and restoring or moving a wallet

Install wallet, so it creates the data directory (windows example C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Transfer)

Close the wallet, copy the bootstrap file to the data directory (if restoring or moving a wallet, replace the wallet.dat with your backup now aswell)

Reopen the wallet and it will automatically start using the bootstrap file to sync without using the network.

I just checked the Transfer Coin download from this link http://cryptochainer.com/dir/  and that is what is included with the wallet.dat already removed.

If anyone wants a bootstrap file just rename blk0001.dat from the zip to bootstrap.dat and use it that way

very quiet on exchange this week
they are allk waiting for newallet? Wink

Sorry if i've been distant lately I had 10 teeth removed 1 week ago, and last night was the first i finally was able to sleep through the night successfully. i've been doing small amounts of work here and there, but over the next few days i'll be finishing the arbitrage functions.

I have had a few reports of the newest wallet not getting any connections. We do have 6 DNS nodes hardcoded into the wallet already. Most of these problems seem to occur on windows. And should be fixed within the next version.

I believe in this project a lot! TX will spike at 0.01BTC for sure

Thanks for the support, I'm not TOO fmailiar with the HIRE project. But I can tell you we have lots to come yet. I may not be the most intelligent developer on the block. But I can say that I'm learning more and more everyday that I code. And that's all that counts Wink A few communities have already noticed this. And I was able to pickup a bit of contract work in the process. Which definitely helps push our project along.

Lol, my sarcasm about HIRE was probably not in right place. It is an absolute scam scheme. I hope those devs will burn in hell. Because of such scams in crypto a great projects like TX (after take over), are left far behind in the line to get traders attention and huge trading volume and price gains.
