Dev has other stuff to do in life. Wigit is still around so not like the coin is abandoned.
I think the development of TX has hit it's ceiling for awhile. The question keeps getting asked what can we do to grow the coin? more but no-one really has any ideas more than a bit of promo.
All this in a time when older Alts are getting squeezed by the new generation of expectations in a crypto coin, (rightfully so)
So we need to think of what can set TX aside from the rest.
It's called Transfer coin but what do we really transfer with it? currency sure but every coin does that.
Could Transfer blockchain be used to send files across p2p?
Could we partner with a Precious metal vault and pin TX to grams of silver. meaning people could play the PM market with crypto.
Use Transfercoin as a international money transfer between currencies. (need KYC partner)
Install a tab in the wallet with some $50 source forge code chess game of Risk or something that allows people to bet in TX and create comp pools.
Make TX the coin of the deep web. with it's speed and unanimity it's perfect for such.
Install a webcam tab in the wallet then get your girlfriends nipples in front of a camera and we can transfer (tips) our coins to her for the effort. lol
Or, Combine with another low mintage coin with good tech. (not fav idea) but still could help.
Understanding all of this takes time and money, but I am sure between all of us we could work something out.

I think that the DEV TEAM is experiencing financial constraints. Now is the time to grab some cheap TX, before it springs back to life again. Another possibility is that DEVs may be on Holiday, with family.

Another possibility is that DEVs may be on Holiday, with family. i was looking to "mine" some up thru a multipool ;p sadly altcoins have a history of steady downward trends (except the "moons", but i dont hold a coin for the moons"), i hold for long term stability ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) therefore, i wont be spending a penny of my satoshis, lord knows ALL pos coins are inflationary in nature. easiest way to lose money imo. no i prefer to mine my coins haha ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ty for the info ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

POS doesn't always kill coins - sometimes it stimulates trade. People stake and sell, while others buy to stake - so the cycle continues.

Bitcoin has a shitty tech, but what makes it so big is two things : mining and utility. Since mining is a no-go here I think, we need to focus on utility. Integrating things in the wallet is useless and is just nice fancy tech that no one use. No, we need real things. We need someone that take the risk to accept Transfer for a store, with a better price if you pay in TX than in BTC...

and another one: bitcoin hasnt a shitty tech: Have u ever studied really all opportunities from the core 11.3 or 12.1? multisig, even the SIDECHAINS,(!!!) , reversible transactions, lightning network and a lot of more things are prepared for the core 13! almost no issues more and awesome strong against attacks! But like always...lobby isnt working well in the science! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Greetz steve

It seems that TX is trading at LIVECOIN.COM, where people are buying it up, under the radar. Remember, TX is NO-PREMINE, so DEV has to struggle to fund the project. This is why things are slow.
