Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I just got my masternode set up and running.  The payments have started to come in.  I am interested in this coin and would like to see it developed, and I can help with development.

Do you think if we created a forum just for transfer coin people would be interested?  I would be able give help to people on setting up masternodes and also mining the coin, plus with some help from google, people will be able to figure out how transfer coin works.

I would like to see the transfercoin community form, or come back together, and if I could help, I would love to.

I just realized something that makes Transfer really great and innovative, there is an android wallet that supports masternode.  This means that you can actually make a decent profit from your cell phone!  I could even see a cell phone masternode farm, almost no electricity, People in the third world could actually make a living off their cell phone with a master node.  This is cool.

Can dev post his TX account so we can give back a little what You gave us?

Also this way community can directly support the dev..
TX is one of the truest coins i have found to date. It is very transparent that it is a passion project. No hype, all work.

You shouldnt be alone with this situation and if this means that You can work more on the project then LETS GO Infernoman! Where we can transfer some funds?

Of course, any donations are greatly appreciated. TcifiSdQ53JZVbwfmBjKQZQRguv2D1Voeq
I manged to get together a masternode on the way up, so i'm going to work on getting that online sometime today and putting the rewards away until I have some more time to work on TX Smiley thank you all again for the amount of overwhelming support lmfao. I really didn't expect anything like this. And i'm glad others did well too Smiley

Feel free to donate TX to Infernoman for the Project. Show your support for the people missed the post.

yup, the closer you look at Transfer[TX], the more you'll go, "What? it already does that??"

it's true it can go far...but it won't get by it itself...

There is A LOT of BTC floating around at BITTREX today.

I see over 12,000 BTC traded in 24 hours, we could get a fraction of that coming to TX if we create enough awareness.

TX is still an easy bargain.

So we hit the bottom. Lets start again.    Grin

TX is ONE OF THE LAST AFFORDABLE MASTERCOINS.
10 000 TX to run a masternode.
Right now it pays around 0.4-0.5 BTC only. If that isnt a bargain then i dont know what the f*ck is.

It generates a nice little income. Run a wallet on Rasperry Pi 2 that you can aquire under 40 $ easily and you are on profit side of things in no time.

Whoever is saying that project does not have an active dev is dead wrong.
Since it took so long for people to understand the advantages of masternode tech, dev managed to get a contracted work on CROWN coin BUT if you go through the thread you'll understand VERY fast that this was and STILL IS his passion project.

There is so much coins and tenfolds the same amount of dev's who are complaining how hard it is to program on blockchain and hyping the shit out of faulty tech.. Infernoman alone ( ACTIVE dev on TX TransferCoin ) delivered grade A code that still is running smoothly and was ahead of its time. Innovated in-wallet trading and cross transfers and android wallets and so much more. Couple of pages back dev told that he will see through the code to see if there is something to improve and that he will set up couple of additional masternodes soon as well. So he is involved and very much active. That said...

Dev, i'd also give some advice to You.. if all of above is true in Your world as well.. right now is perfect time to get even more involved with Your lovechild TransferCoin. Masternodes are hot right now, people are showing interest in the coin and all that is missing.. is a little input on Your side so people would understand that TX means business. With just a little effort we can spread the word throughout the community if everybody helps a bit and we can take it to whole another level. Maybe somekind of roadmap? It doesnt have to be progressive, but it could visualize what You have in mind for the coin on a very loose timeline so people can see what can be achieved when they put their money in. I am more than happy to help with designing it if needed. Just say the word.

BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC IF YOU DID NOT READ THE ABOVE, TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THE FOLLOWING BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

To make it as transparent  as possible for the buyers - TransferCoin is meant to make the crypto payment system as simple as possible. So your could pay on whatever medium and basically in whatever crypto and the TransferCoin tech handles the rest. Main point is that even right now it supports running a wallet with ALL the features on Your phone and was first to take crypto to phones... It is only matter of time when people start using more and more crypto for everyday payments too. Everybody is HOOKED to their phones.. do the fucking math people... in which overhyped coin You want to invest instead of this sleeping gem right here that just showed us even on the price graph what can be achieved?

Only reason i am putting so much energy into explaining all this is following - it is VERY RARE to find such devoted dev who obvioulsy have gone through some frustrating times in his life and has no energy to spend on HYPE and advertising. Only together we will prevail.

Yeah all this money floating around is meaning daily pumps of heaps of coins, NXT will pump in the near future some big buys on that lately.
I am not touching Eth or Dash in this environment, to rigged.
I don't know if the pumper of TX has sold all the coins they were buying since January, It may go again in the next month or so.

Super noob looking for some help getting my node going. Here are the issues:

  • When I click 'Transfer Network' and look at the active nodes, it'll show 47 active nodes, then a few seconds later only 4 active nodes, back and forth. Is this normal?
  • When I start my node, it doesn't stay running, I have to keep starting it
  • In the debug logs I'm seeing: socket recv error 10054 (ALSO SEEING TONS OF "QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function" errors)

Any help is much appreciated, will be sure to pass the knowledge forward. Thanks

I have read the thread and I see that there where a lot of things done, true. But what development is next on this coin, if you don't have a active developper anymore? Beside some whales are pumping masternode coins right now, most people like me are in for the long run and for features. What are the plans long term?

that's a good question.  what kind development plans or features you'd like to see?

if you are in the for the long run, like it or not it's your coin now. (whether you enter now, or later).   i'm sure most of the investors, support and/or dev is watching over us.   just wail out what you want!

as for me..i'm working on my masternodes, setting up, pruning, maybe write a faucet script..i don't know just playing with it.

I must confes I bought enough TX last night for a Masternode and try to setup it on a Rasberry :-) I will also send the dev some coins!
Maybe I will make a tutorial for Rasberry because it isn't pressend at the moment, correct me if i wrong...

I forgot to mention that I didn't manually create any .conf files as instructed, I simply used the masternode GUI, do I still need to use the original instructions for setting up a masternode?

EDIT: Also receiving this error before my node stops running:

socket receive timeout: 1201s

I was able to set up my masternode, but noticed that the information was very incomplete on how to do it.  I had to use my knowledge of bitcoin qt wallet to solve some of the problems, as well as networking and port forwarding through two routers.  I would like to offer my assistance to anyone needing help setting up their masternode.

This link will give you some direction in setting up your masternode.

You have to set up a masternode.conf and a transfer.conf

I need to create some kind of guide to show how to set up the masternode.

I set up a website with a message board http://transfercointx.pw

The purpose of the site is so I can help people with setting up transfercoin masternodes and as a place to discuss Transfercoin.

I don't know if it will work, or if the transfercoin community will like the idea, but if you do, please visit the site and I will help any way I can.

I am a new developer, been programming for over 2 years now, so I would like to help the community any way I can.

Please stop by and say Hi!

wow, nice!  nice and simple, and up running so fast!  i love it.

yes that board would be great help to archive more detailed and technical Transfer[TX] discussions so they don't get lost in the pages of this board.  for up to the minute updates and discussions, people probably still gonna look here or the irc.

Yep, thats the plan.  I agree that bitcointalk is the place for up to date information and the latest news, but when I built my masternode, there were so many things I had to figure out with much help or organization online, so I built the board to host all the technical details, and also a place to discuss the coin in technical details.

I am a Techie, so if I can help people with the technical part of Transfercoin I am excited to do so.

Thank you for the great input.
