I would buy and save it for sure if I had spare money. I think Bitcoin is a must for any long term savings portfolio because I do believe over the long term it will go up in value, well at least every four years anyway as it is finite and is not printed at will like paper currency.

If you are not so active in the community you have to select the long term investment, with a lot of money available for long term investment will give you a good chance to make a decent profit and you will no longer monitor the price regularly as long as you believe that bitcoin will be a success.

You are right but guessing in trading can give you a lot of headache at the long run. And also Bitcoin's value stays at the 600$ range at a long time I can say it is already in the accumulation stage people are warehousing their bitcoin so that they can sell it at a higher price. But I can also be wrong as the date for Bitcoin is not as clear as the date given by real stock brokers.

You are right but guessing in trading can give you a lot of headache at the long run. I don't think trading can give headache unless you are making profits from it and trading can be a lifetime income for you if you are good at it and it will also help in growing your coins.

If you want to buy for long term investment you should buy in crisis times like this. Speculators are dumping coins so you can buy from cheaper prices than usual. Right now it see 435 as bottom but it can cover from here. Since you make long term investment it's not too important to buy from 430 or 450$ anyway.

I think a long term investment in bitcoin just hold and wait for the price increase it is very safe, even very small risks. But if you want investment for the long term, 1 btc may be a very small amount. so 1 btc I think very good if buy and later trade short term to make a profits.

You are saying that you are going to use bitcoin as a bank of your money because if you are going to hold your bitcoin for long time and your just waiting for the price increase then you are not making money your just stocking money for the future and you cant take any risk of earning profits.

it's not a very safe investment of money in my opinion, but can be probably profitable and high potential of profit IMO, You should not invest more money than you are ready to lose in bitcoins.

not every year bitcoin goes up, in fact 2014 is the bad year for bitcoin.
