Not really, there are altcoins that has a great potential in the future and some developers are really good with the plan, the only problem is the marketing or the product or services because the image of altcoins is not really good compared to a more reputable bitcoin.

Yes and 1 btc is good amount to have but not the best one, as we don't know what value it will hold it future so its better to try to multiply that 1 btc to even more.

Sure when the altcoin reach some good patamar who gets the most interest are the developers, but several people are able to make an amazing result as get an income as well developers. I would say bitcoin will keep raising year by year, and as long you can hold your coins for some years without invest sure its a great moment to invest, considering it will keep raising.

Buying 1 BTC with the plan of holding it 1,2 or even 5 to 10 years will likely work well, provided that no major changes occur that jack the whole system up

I think 1 btc will not give you the best returns if price doesn't go too high, so its always better to try for more number of coins, so even if price is at descent level we can expect some profits from it.

I thought so, it has decrease but still it is in the $500 level so that means it will not crush. I would consider buying today to add up on my investment for the future, it is good to see this kind of opportunity and this should be miss by any wise investor as this does not happen all the time.

It's exactly the opposite: buying 1BTC at this moment is better than buying it for a short time. The price only decreased by $10 which is nothing, we've seen this price for weeks. In the long term, we'll see an increase.

With a little amount of investment particularly 1 BTC it is not good for long term investment, you can grow that amount doing short term investment. You can do trading or binary options is you are good in predicting the price movement. But to be safe, we need to hold for a long term and add up your investment.

   Buying bitcoin is safe investment, just don't give everything you have for that. If 1 btc is just one little part of your money then buy it, if not then think about buying less. Investment is safe depending from how much money you have, and how much you risk.
   In the end here you will not find good answer, you need to decide for yourself are you ready to give 550 $ into something and wait for profit. For many that is nothing, for others its a lot of money.

Yes the price now is really a good price for buying 1 bitcoin for your own. And for me it is going to be a good investment if you are going to buy bitcoins and you are going to hold it for a long time. Once the price is going to increase then you are going to make good profit out of it. But it is going to be better if you are going to add some more.

Yes the price now is really a good price for buying 1 bitcoin for your own. And for me it is going to be a good investment if you are going to buy bitcoins and you are going to hold it for a long time. one satoshi may not be a good investment.. bitcoin fees are more than one satoshi - and unless that changes your 1 satoshi will be completely unusable without the rest of the transaction fee, but then your whole investment disappears to the transaction fee.

I think you do not know about bitcoin future and about its technology, that is why you are saying that it is risk, I have my money in bitcoin from longer time and still they are secured and I do not feel any risk in there, I if a person want to invest in bitcoin for longer time then he will not lose any amount in there, as the dumps and pumps occur only for shorter period and for longer period we all are sure that we benefit from there.
