I really not a expert but I'm not sure this is way to go.

First: 1,5 mil coins to stake daily. I get I don't need that amount but it is amount to get payment for 24h.
Problem I see with this increase of minimum coin age threshold by 10 again is that lot of smaller guys just drop the coin and no new stackers come. Leaving what? Only 10 - 20 people who just stake a fun of stacking because there will be no one to sell (make money/profit) out from coin.

Second: the lotto aspect of stacking. 1 - 500% I assume it's an annual rate not for 24h one. Well lets say I don't have 1,5 mil but just 300k. I have had 5 days my wallet shat and opening it then waiting to see how much I have got and then.... lets say I did hit 3%. "...a lot of un appropriate words..." I just made 123,2876712 cubs. Needless to say there is no swearing words in any language what I will think.

And seriously why complain about 1-500% stake rate at all? do you get this at the banks? damn some of you are just greedy mofos instead of wise investors

DigiCube dropped down to the 300 sat range when I got into this coin and right now i''m still in profit from the point i started investing with this coin... so your statement doesn't corroborate with my CUBE financial standing.

absolutely true, I agree, or dev thing that coin can live with 10 coins holder?! personal I do not like it what can not predict, this lotto maybe acceptable if play every day, but get nothing after week staking this is absurd.
to avoid people leaks, my sugestion left same Minimum Coin Age with lotto, or increase but with fixed rate(even less than 500%)

I am still a little confuse about the coin ago. so for example if I have 160K every 24 hrs recombine the coins at the moment. so new way, same 160k I need to wait 10 days to unlock to stake for the max returns? so 80k needs 20 days?

• Formula for the maximum possible block reward remains unchanged

Stake Reward Changes

• Variable Stake Rate (1% - 500%), calculated at time of stake and determined by individual input coin age
• Having coin age below the minimum threshold will now reward -0.1% of current block number worth of CUBE
• Blocks that currently reward 1 CUBE will subtract 0.1% of current block number CUBE from your balance post-fork
• These coins will be burned from moneysupply, not paid to any miners or stakers. They will be completely destroyed
• The penalty for staking too few coins, or too low of coin age, will scale long-term and increase as block number increases
• As always, DigiCube will retain the No-Fee model, instead relying on under-minimum coin age blocks to burn coins long-term

TL;DR - Make sure you are above the new staking minimum coin age threshold or else you are going to be really pissed off at the coin

Also, at higher market cap, the POS rewards will become more meaningful, even if POS = 1%

Hi all
I like the idea but i think.

If This is going to happen we need to make sure all new/old investors understand how the coin works.
(it needs to be fool proof clear indication of loss gain est)
1 make sure investors know exactly how many coins they need to purchase or the amount of time they need to wait before (there investment) can be staked to receive a reward.(some form of chart with examples?)(or an in wallet display giving a stake timer count down)
2 A way of keeping the small investor as well as the larger ones
3 This system needs to be fool proof no one wants too LOOSE there investment.
4 All'so a way to lock individual amount of coins in the wallet so if you have multiple deposits you can stake the mature coins without losing the none mature ones.

Variable Stake Rate = CoinAge modulo 500 + 1

Ok, two questions:

First, so if I understand correctly (and please correct me if I'm wrong), if I manage to somehow aim the exact coinage of let's say 5,000,999 right at the moment of staking then I get (5,000,999 modulo 500)=499  + 1 = 500% stake? 

Second, is this 500% a daily rate or a yearly rate?

not exactly  with 80k after 20 day you will have 1.6 milion coin age, but in that moment coin age requirement will be
much more , so you need wait additional few day.
