It won't happen over night. If it ever does get to 0 it will happen slowly and not just drop to 0 suddenly. I really doubt this will happen though.

As long as there a demand and supply keeps coming.

If there is a back door found in the encryption technology, the price will go to 0 straight away. The whole banking system will also collapse.

this is the worst scenario, which will affect everything so who would care about bitcoin at this point

but bitcoin can go to zero, if a fatal flaw is found, and not corrected in time leading to a big waste of money, like for example the bug of the overflow in 2010

$0 is a very rare possibility for bitcoin unless a major flaw/bug is found in the bitcoin system.

Nope. I will step in to buy all the bitcoins there are when the price reaches 1 cent.
And there are many others who would be ready to do it before me.

I will step in and buy all coins that I can if they are priced at $10. But I am happy to know that it will never happen. There is too much interest to let it even fall below $50.

If it ever does drop down to 0 or even close to $100 I will buy as much bitcoins as I possibly can. I still believe it has a future and still believe it's a great investment.

Even when it does drop down that low, I think that it will bounce right back up.

People would panic.  Market would crash.  Then miners would unanimously agree on the required updates.  Bitcoin would get rid of the backdoor. Price would rise again.

However, seeing how Bitcoin is open source and has been studied by people from all over the world, the probability is extremely low that there is a backdoor. It would likely have been found by now many times over

How will it happen?

Nothing will happend, I just think that Bitcoin will just be stable arround 350 dollars if not it will increase.

Lets say it happends that it goes to zero. I will just buy, because why not I am not giving up with Bitcoin.

Yeah I was wondering too why he said again.
It was just in the beginning but from the highest Bitcoin price the lowest what was going was arround 200 US Dollars.

Oh well if someday that Bitcoin go to zero (well not happend). I just don't know what to do.

At $0.00001 I will buy all coins ;-)

At that price, it means bitcoin is useless or a major disasters happened to bitcoin. It will not survive. So it is not worth buying.

Even if there is some huge crashes bitcoin will now never reach that mark looking at current market cap.

I think the price will not go to 0 in a few years time. It will be much higher than the price now.

How will it happen?

Will it just suddenly one day drop to $0?  Or will be a slow painful bear market finishing near $0 but never quite reaching at?  Some believers will never sell no matter what price ??

What do you guys think?

Cannot believe that will drop within one day from the amount in which will be at zero. This can happen only if blockchain fail in some point and become worthless or irreparable. Definitely dead accepted by the core developers formally. Being not an expert cannot told for sure if this can happen or not (if possible) but as an amatory connoisseur of peer to peer cannot believe that this could happen. Being a decentralized metwork mean first of all to have to many "heads" who control and manage it. Even can be dead on or some of those exist (or may created) to many others. The same with everything needed to make it operationl. Being decentralized (as I understand this expression) mean that even if exist only two operational cells the network may be functional (theoretically). Then how this can be possible is out of my knowledges to explain.
