I think it's absolutely disgusting that the NBA only suspended Patrick Beverly for a single game next year as a result of his downright dirty and cowardly push from behind on Chris Paul.  This after breaking Devin Booker's nose a couple games earlier.  There really is no place in the league for people like this and Beverly isn't a superstar.  I think he deserved at least a 5 game suspension, and I probably would've handed out 10 games with no pay.  He's easily my least favorite player in the league, not because of his defensive skills, but because of his dirty play...

The suspension was too light for me and I would agree if there is a more than 1 game suspension here plus additional fines maybe.

Well, the good thing is he apologizes already to CP3 and I know Beverley's frustration that they lose on home but he shoudn't do that thing because it might affect Paul's performance on NBA Finals.

In terms of defending, he is one of the best and we've seen it already throughout his career but because of this there are times that he is playing kinda like dirty but his defensive skills are superb. Well, a 1 game suspension is still very light for me but it is what it is .

Pat was just frustrated, and the NBA organization did not see the push as a serious one that could injure a player, they are athletes so they are used to playing physical games on the court, and that's just a push, nothing serious happen to CP3, maybe if CP3 was injured because of that, we will not only see a one-game suspension.

I admit, I can't understand the NBA either, sometimes it takes a heavy punishment and sometimes a light one.

I also agree, Patrick Beverly's punishment was light, but everyone knows he's a trash talker player and he doesn't play fair sometimes, CP3 was VERY smart at that point, he knew the Suns had a good lead, CP3 knows that Beverly is not that good mental player and is an explosive player, I'm pretty sure CP3 provoked him and Patrick Beverly fought back, but I agree that he retaliated with the aim of hurting Chris Paul as he was taken by surprise and couldn't defend himself. .. but that's what CP3 wanted to happen, wanted Patrick lose his mind.

It's not the first time CP3 gets into trouble provoking another player, remember the fight between CP3 and Rondo a few seasons ago!!?

I would like the NBA allow a little more contact between players during games and trash talking happen more, but what Patrick Beverly is unacceptable

He is now in uniform, so this is a boost for the Hawks, that's why I'm not surprised that the odds are in favour of the Hawks since the opening of the betting line. Portis will take Giannis in the starting 5 for the Bucks. So let's see how Trae Young is in this game.

In Trae’s defense he did claim to be suffering from an injury due to stepping on that referee’s foot in a previous game. From that point on either the injury was worse than it appeared or he mentally just lost it after that. That was the moment the series turned for me. Up until then it seemed the Hawks we’re getting it done. Cam Reddish had a great game, which is promising for next year. This year though, it will most definitely be the Bucks vs the Suns. I don’t like this matchup for the Suns if Giannis gets healthy, but they’ve been surprising all year so hopefully they can keep it rolling.

This year's NBA finals is good,  they are both hungry to win that title and the stars on both teams hasn't been get their first championship yet. Looks like we will see a total war on this one and if I'm not mistaken, CP3 has the less chance to get to this opportunity again because he is already 38 yrs old. the guy really made it this time and I'm rooting for him in this one. hope that he will get that championship through the years of battling injuries and unsuccessful playoffs in his last teams.

The Milwaukee Bucks return to the NBA finals for the first time since 1974 and they do it dragged by two thirds of their "Big Three" (with Giannis Antetokounpo still out). A sensational performance by Khris Middleton, who scores 23 of his 32 points in the decisive third quarter, and an excellent game by Jrue Holiday, while Atlanta fields Trae Young but the Hawks' superstar doesn't even remotely resemble the player capable of enchanting them in the playoffs.

The same case for the Nets as they forced James Harden to play 45+ minutes a game and was completely ineffective to the team. I don't know If Milwaukee is just lucky or they're really  a championship team.

It's been quite a long time since we've seen an uncommon NBA teams to be meeting in the NBA finals.

Nevertheless, this is such a good finals match up. It's been the first Finals since 10+ years without LeBron or Curry.

Another sets of strategy will surely shows up coming this game 6, but since Bucks managed to win it last time they've met the chance that coach will try to repeat it out and see if how the Hawks will adjust countering the plays,

There are shadows of what happened in Game 5 like the alley-oop to Lopez from Jrue but mostly was Jrue making the play himself or Middleton.
Hawks became too focus with Portis Jr. and Lopez it became a scramble when Bucks Coach Mike Budenholzer found a way to change it.
Jrue can freely shoot outside shots and also Middleton. That 3rd quarter was like a practice game to them throwing the ball everywhere and putting it down. When the lead bloated to 20 I knew it is over.
Hawks will have difficulties coming back with Trae playing at his worst.

You made me miss the usual finals rival and matches that we used to watch before. But even there's no Lebron and Steph, the finals match up is one of the best finals that we're going to watch. I think it was since the last season that many fans want to see Bucks get into the finals, now they finally did.

And every time he shoots or just jump for a little bit he looks at his foot like he was hurting. He maybe not but it's his brain telling him it should hurt.
It sucks to see him play like that, he is not the normal Trae young that was always explosive when he heats up.
I agree with what most Hawks fans thinks, could have been better if he just sit around and support his team mates from the sidelines.

Middleton and Holiday's production should not go down when Giannis is back in the lineup. There's no update yet regarding his injury, but let's hope that he will be able to play in game 1 of the NBA Finals as that is a very important game. if Bucks would win at least one game on the road, that would help them take the advantage since the home court advantage belongs to the Suns.

He is not even in a minute restriction, the coach is great but in that game, he made a bad decision. Getting too desperate is not good, instead of trusting the healthy players, he force to play Young, of course, as a coach he has the say, he could have sit Trae Young when he saw Trae Young was messing on the floor.

Coach's always had the final decision to take him out or not but this time I don't think the coach was followed.
There's a possibility that Trae forced himself to play the game thinking it might be the last game of the Hawks.
Should've done the same as Giannis, it's simple "trust your teammates".
They wouldn't have reached the ECF without them so they can somehow get through it and win the game if he only trusted them.
Turnovers + missed shots 4/17 FG and 0-6 3pt = destruction.  I don't blame all on him but he did most of the damage for 35 minutes.
