Is this true that Chris Paul can't play today?

Houston Rockets' Chris Paul unlikely to play but game-time decision for Game 7

I read this first on FB and did a little bit of search but still can't say a thing about it.

Yes Chris Paul is out for Game 7 and its one of the reason why Houston Rockets need to step up their game. They can't rely only on Harden. Well game 7 is over and final score is 92 (Houston Rockets) - 101 (Golden State Warriors). Cleveland and GSW will face each other again in the Finals for the 4th time. I thought on the first half Houston Rockets have this in the bag.

As I asked the question the game started after a couple of time.

Chris Paul was a big part of Houston Rockets during the play offs, he helped a lot. But I guess this is the end of their journey and we'll see again the rivals at the finals.

I also thought that the advantage goes to Rockets as the home court advantage is theirs.

If they only managed to become consistent just like the 1st Quarter then they are the ones that will have to play against the Cleveland Cavaliers, still congrats to GSW and to fans out there.

Absence of Chris Paul in the game is really a great factor which will really affect overall team performance and this is actually happening all the time on sports events where unexpected injury issues do happen along the way and as a bettor it do really sucks when you already made a fixed bet on whose team would gonna go to the finals but injuries do happen.I have big hopes for Rockets to set in west but when i do read up that CP wont able to play then i do already expect the outcome.Lots on people in my place made lots of bucks when GSW won.

It doesn't matter if Chris Paul was in the game GSW will still going to win with both the combination of the great player like Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry but i agree that it does sucks when you bet on a fixed team already. That's why i don't bet to a fixed team i choose whether other team is having a good comeback by looking at their line up and depending on whose court they will be playing.

Houston was able to hang on the first 2 quarters. But they shooting woes was already there its that GSW is also missing some shots. But at the start of the 3rd quarter, Golden State erase the lead so quickly that Houston didn't know what happen and then the shooting woes started to catch up on them. I don't know how many times Harden attempted a field goal and miss. Another lost opportunity for Chris Paul again, that injury really cost they the series and the finals against Cleveland Cavaliers.

According to some reports Houston missed 27 3-points attempts today. Just imagine if 50% of that 27 attempts we're successful that could have turned the tables around. Even if its just 30% of the 27 attempts it could have changed the future of Houston Rockets. Only 2 out of 13 3-points attempt we're successful for Harden. Houston Rockets played very well today and for sure they made GSW re-think of their strategies during the game.

Correct, I don't know how it ranked amongst the worst shooting percentage in a Game 7 but definitely its among the top 5. Game 7, deciding game in your home turf and you made a dismay 27 missed shots wherein the team collectively shooting above 40%? If its not choking then I don't know what everyone could describe what happen to Houston. Specially the supposed to be franchise player who only made 2 out of 13.

There is no chance for the Cavs to win in this series. If you compare the last year's roster of Cavs into the current roster of the Cavs, last year's roster are far better than the current roster and yet they didn't win over the Warriors who have the same roster. I know the GSW will win again in the finals and I will not be surprised if they will win in a sweep or in 5 games like they did last year.

Its understandable with Chris Paul though, he wasn't able to contribute any, But Harden, how many times we seen him choke, I still remember Manu's block on him last year, hahahaha. So he is not just a disappointed, but as I have said, even though he may took the MVP this year, he is not on a level of Lebron James or Steph Curry or even Kevin Durant. Those guys don't choke but deliver in crucial games.

Kevin Durant choked on Game 4 but not his usual and very rare to happened compare to James Harden that the word choke has being sticked to him because every year it was the scenario.

The whole Houston Rockets choked at their Game 7 performance or should I say starting from Game 6. Although Harden has 32 points on Game 7, his three point field goal is horrible only shoots 2 out of 13 from the 2-point area and because of that he sets a record for most 3-pointers missed in a NBA playoff series. Eric Gordon is 2 out of 12 and Trevor Ariza with 0 out of 9. What a bad performance during the most important game.

In terms of "chance" yes it has but we don't know how much is it because we all know that Golden State Warriors have the most percentage that they will win the series. Stats, players, performance, the Warriors are above the Cavaliers. But again we don't know what will happened.

Honestly the odds is really good for Cleveland Cavaliers because they are underdog and not just on crypto gambling but also on elsewhere. But you know that odds will be decrease if ever Cavaliers will steal a win early so if you really want to bet on Cavaliers do it today. On the other hand, odds will increase more if ever Cavaliers will lose on early games.

As we arrive in the Finals, between Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers the match is really favored to GSW due to that most of their players are healthy and there are 3-5 healthy Allstars playing in their team but on the other side in the Cavs team only Lebron and Love are playing their best and they already have a hard time to play with Boston and Lebron can't play all the time and not getting exhausted while in the other side they have rotations of Allstars that can make points and win the game. If Cavs wants to win this they need their team to step up and not just got carried by Lebron. If just Lebron did not get all the credits from the couple years when Kyrie was their Kyrie would have stayed but they did not appreciate him enough that he decides to get traded.  They would have a change with Kyrie in there but then next year when all Boston Celtics are healthy Boston Celtics will be in the finals

There is no chance for the Cavs to win in this series. There's always a chance for an upset. The cavs wouldn't be in the nba finals if they don't have a chance beating the best in the west. Though the odds are heavily stacked against them, you don't count lebron out before things even begin. I would've loved to see boston vs houston in the finals though. Things are becoming a little predictable if these two keep on meeting in the last dance

It wasn't rigged, only Rockets fans saying it's rigged. They haven't made a 3pt shot in the 3rd quarter while Warriors is hot outside. How come it was ref magic. Yeah I didn't see Harden shake hands with GSW. Chris Paul can't do anything at the bench but to watch the hot outside shooting of Curry.

Respect to that coach must be the one given at first before the players. Injuries and trades. He made a lot of adjustments just so the team will still get better and now they will be waiting for the Finals.

Specially during the times that Cavaliers is really struggling to get a win when Kyrie left. Everyone thought that coach Tyron will also be fired off because of their successive losses.

Again, Golden State Warriors turned the game upside down during the third quarter outscoring the Houston Rockets by 33 to 15. They able to cut down the lead and came back from 15 points deficit. Again, same scenario happened last Game 6 where GSW was downed by 17 and third quarter is the turning point. Right now, GSW are the king of third quarter as Warriors becoming a warrior always at that quarter.

Houston Rockets have a momentum prior to halftime but didn't managed to maintained it. They are literally choked. We can see the room left by Chris Paul especially during making plays.

James Harden is a dissapointment. He didn't have a balls to pay for respect. He just came out of the court after the buzzer sounds and never did engage on a friendly handshake after the game. Their shooting is horrible after the halftime so no one to blamed here. Yes there are missed calls but the refs don't control their goals if it will be shoot or not. I understand his frustration but at least he should showed respect for the last time. His a MVP contender this year and yet his attitude is like that.

Yes. I didn't like what he did also. Go out there and shake hands. This is sports and shit happens. You do hard work to get to the Finals and yet it was not just enough. Be a sportsman and face the opponent with heads high. Shake their hands.
There is one time that Green tries to get him up and he dont want to, afterwards he is the one who got mad. That is already 1 strike of him showing unsportsman behavior. He should really try it to swallow all the loss that had been going on him. He thinks he is always superior and yet he cannot take them to the Finals. He is nowhere near Lebron or any other star.
You are on national television and you always know that. People are looking at you specially kids. At least make them see that sports is a game of win or lose.

Of course as NBA fans, we always get excited to see who will win the NBA finals, however, we are used to see Lebron James on the finals for the last 8 years. hahahaha. But I think this is really different for him because he doesn't have that support that he used to have (Irving). So it would be great to see him leading the Cavs to the finals and might get a ring again. And yes great odds to bet on them.

Well yes case to case basis and a matter of player's pride if they are willing to accept it. There are players who accept the deal but still it's really a big different if a player played for that team and achieved the championship.

Approval needs from the whole championship team + the player who will be granted.

Yes thats correct! There are few NBA fans who knew about this since these kind of situation doesnt occur everytime. But before handing over the ring, the staff including the players would vote first if they give it or not and the reciever's approval as well. Just like the Anderson Varejao situation last year in GSW when he played couple of games in the regular season and left before the post season, yet he approved to receive a ring.
On the other hand, I hope the Cavs will find a way how to compete with the Warriors. LeBron is playing on different level, but his teammates must need to step up and make their shots. Good offense is a good defense, that would be the winning key for the Cavs.

The cavaliers are always underestimated here but Lebron is the greatest player on earth so there is always a chance to win.
I would not be afraid backing the cavs to win the NBA Finals because I know the odds are great even if there is a small chance but it's always possible.
