Congratulations to Toronto Raptors, I've wanted to see another team get this season's championship and I'm counting on them.

Game 2 the Raptors still has the advantage so it might be 2-0 on Monday.

Warriors is the best team in the NBA, it's just normal to gain a lot of fans.

Tonight, I wasn't expecting that Cousins will play but he did play tonight, I'm now seeing them having a chance of winning despite still down at the moment.

Golden State Warriors played so bad this game 1 of the championship. I thought they will rage on the second half but it didn't. On the first half, the Golden State Warriors really didn't play well, maybe it because of Kevin Durant? Even Cousins played, they are still not enough for this.
Hoping they will improve on game 2.

I lose a lot of money in game 1, but will still be backing them in game 2.
Cousins has limited minutes that's why they got abuse in the paint, but that is just game one, the game is far from over.

Game 2 is interesting, looks like Durant will play which I'm hoping will happen, even if Cousins have to sit.

The warriors weakness has been revealed in game one wherein they can totally defend the paint. Siakam also exposed this weakness several times by bringing curry underneath the basket because the warriors have no legitimate center that can defend.

This is a different series, the Warriors does not have the home court advantage unlike in the last 3 series they played, but I'm still confident despite not having the home court advantage that they can win in this series.

If the Warriors can steal Game 2 then it can be a series changer .

I know that Durant will not play in Game 2 so a steal in the next game will be huge for the Warriors. Remember how the Raptors stole Game 5 against the Bucks. It can happen too in this series. If there will be a steal win on the road it can change the odds of the series.

Maybe it wasn't but Siakam did a great game and he missed I think 2-3 of his total shots only. That is huge already. I'm hoping for the Warriors to steal Game 2 .

Long lay-off clearly one of the factor why the Warriors lost in game 1, too many turn-overs in the first quarter clearly shows the rust in them. They have been on this scenario before and they will adjust once they see the film. The Warriors just give too many open shots to the Raptors that they paid dearly.

Why not saying that the Raptors were better in the game?
I believe that Raptors made the difference and dominated yesterday's game. It had nothing to do with GSW and KD, it was about Siakam that did an amazing game and pushed Raptors to the first win.

It is like he already knew that Kerr will be putting all the defense in Kawhi and so he does use Siakam's ability to score.

He gave way to Siakam even though he might lose the Finals MVP if they win this series.

Lets remember even Cavs almost beat warriors last year on the first game Lebron had a broken hand or whatever he had his hand and he played so awesome to win the game but JR Smith did what he does best and lost them the game. After that warriors played their hearts out and beat the cavs in 4 games ending the series with a sweep.

Raptors getting the first game is very important for raptors, because if they have lost this game it would mean they are definitely gone and will lose the series for sure, however now that they won it means they will probably lose the series but at least have a chance.

Kawhi and Siakam made super differences in this game, I don't know if they can continue like this for the series, if those two play like this raptors can definitely get the championship but I am not sure if they will.

Cousins is not yet 100% ready that's why his playing time is limited.

Aside from that, they have no Cousins when they entered the playoffs. Meaning they should be used to it. That's not the reason why they are dominated in the paint. Toronto Raptors just play good in the offense and I noticed that GSW defense are focus too much on Kawhi. They didn't expect that other Raptors will step up and now should not be taken lightly.

Uncontested and no efforts from GSW at some point to defend them especially in the rainbow area.

Overall from what I see in Game 1, Warriors were surprised from what Raptors did.

Surely this was already discussed on the GSW's table after the game and adjustments will surely be made in Game 2.

What I observed on game 1 is that the warriors became cold because of resting for 7+ days. Consider the fact that they are hot when the games are consecutive. Second is the open shots for Marc Gasol and Pascal Siakam. There were many uncontested shots for them in the three point line and also when pascal drives to the rim it's the end for them 14 out of 17 FG WOW. Pascal did had a great night. That's his career high points. A 35 point game. I guess raptors have a good shot after all.

They do focus on isolating Kawhi but they haven't realize that the other team members are capable on scoring.Look at on how siakam do play on this game 1

Very outstanding performance for him and same as with Gasol.Raptors do prevents out Curry and Klay to be on 3 point line which forcing them to make 2's instead.
They able to steal out game 1 but lets see on upcoming games on how warriors would adjust on that game 1 outcome.

Maybe they just enjoyed their vacation too much.  . Anyways, it's a good thing that Toronto won game 1, makes this series more exciting, as I believed that this will be a chess match, game of adjustments and the first one to make mistakes will cost the game. Good strategy from Toronto in game 1, GSW wasn't able to adjust, (unexpected of Kerr), but it's still a long series, so let's see.

Aside from that, they have no Cousins when they entered the playoffs. Meaning they should be used to it. That's not the reason why they are dominated in the paint. Yes, next time I wont go Cousins. Steve Kerr risked too much there even though he just used him for the 2nd team.
Last time I checked that 2nd team can really score and for a lot of times they could get a lead from the opposing team.

I want him to go back to speed. Push the ball unto the paint and do it also with the 2nd team. They cannot do post up there. They are used to practicing a fast paced game rather than waiting for Cousins to set up in is post up.

GS now +2 underdogs in game 2 and Moneyline is around +120 which just seems like too much value
Either way one team will win by more then 2 points so its moneyline on GS Warriors for me

Now they will start not focus with just Kawhi but to focus with everyone inside the ring. It's a lesson learned for them that they shouldn't underestimate the other players of Raptors. We'll see on game 2 on how Kerr will adjust with that lost.

It is just game 1 and we should not really say these things, too early. Raptors just caught GSW off guard thinking that Kawhi will be the only one raising the team. Next game, for me, is the real start of NBA finals. I am not a GSW fan though, I prefer Raptors since it is the team that defeated  Bucks whom  I thought will be the opponent team of GSW.
