Yes, compared to last season, the current lineup of Brooklyn Nets is much more improved.

Even Kevin Durant is expected to be ruled out (there's no official announcement yet) for the rest of the next season, having Kyrie Irving on the floor will surely change the usual gameplay of Brooklyn. He will be the main man of this team throughout the season. No conflicts in terms of playing roles unlike in Celtics (Rozier, Tatum, Brown etc.)This is a great opportunity for Kyrie to show what's more in him although expect some difficulties on the way as we all know the big difference between his teammates in Boston Celtics and to the current ones.

DeAndre Jordan, although not performing well last season is a good addition too on Brooklyn's big man.

Everyone seems to think that Lakers will be heavy favorites this season and even if you look at the sportsbooks you see that the second best odds behind clippers is Lakers. Do you guys really think that they would be that good? I mean I know they have Lebron and AD but they had Lebron last year too and didn't even make it to playoffs, so now we put AD on top of it so of course they will become better but second best team in the league type of good? Does getting AD make a team "not playoff worthy" to "second best team" all of a sudden?

It is because Lebron got injured last year. I think they're in the 3rd-5th spot when Lebron got that injury. And as expected, they suffered successive losses and eventually didn't make it. Of course, adding a good elite player will chance the complexion of who is going to be the favourites to win, according to sport bookies.

AD played on Pelicans as well and they were not that good, so 2 players who are definitely good but couldn't make their teams that good getting together makes them second best team? I feel like they would be more like 4th best team on western conference let alone the whole league.

And we also have to remember that both players are prone to injury, cousins and AD has not played the entire season without an injury problem, and because of that it affects the chemistry of the team as their injury would not only make them out in days, but sometimes it take weeks or months before they can come back and play.

Brooklyn had a decent run last season. For next season, we'll have to see that first. Kyrie, Deandre and others on the roster will be playing with each other for the first time if I am not mistaken. They'll need to work on their chemistry.

Brooklyn had a decent run last season. For next season, we'll have to see that first. Kyrie, Deandre and others on the roster will be playing with each other for the first time if I am not mistaken. They'll need to work on their chemistry.

They have to as the new guys are leading them, but I'm pretty sure they can have a good chemistry and even without Durant, they will be in the playoffs.
I think the only think that has no movement on the entire roster is the Bucks, they will also be a threat in the coming season as they were coming from a very big loss against the Raptors, they were the favorites so they will not forget that, I'm sure Giannis were too much affected on that loss.

Yeah that's what I'm expecting and all of the teams that had changed roster, although this has been reported but it seems like fans are belittling this change though I'm not a fan of them but this team is going to be exciting to watch and see their progress.

I am also curious on the effect of the Antetokounmpo brothers on Milwaukee bucks. I will still be rooting for this team since our MVP is here the "Greek Freak". I know Giannis Antetokounmpo will make his comeback to the finals again.

They are already solid team for me, a dream team, they don't have so much noise making on the drafts, what I only heard was the brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo which is Thanasis Antetokounmpo. For me, making their lineups solid will help them to get to the finals again and top seeder.

For sure, the kid got his first MVP and I'm sure he is very inspired to proved that it's no fluke and that his name belongs to the elite now, so yes, during this off season he will re-build again and do hope that he improved more on this shooting.

Westbrook and Harden played together since they were kids, they know how they play and they know their own styles as well, they are not worried about it so why should you be.

I didn't know about that, I've been following the NBA for many seasons but never had time to get to know about them with their backgrounds. If this would finally be for the good of Rockets then there will a chemistry for the both of it which will result as a team. I don't want to assume base on that history but it's also possible that there's something that has changed for both of them. Two superstars, we'll wishing all the best for this tandem and for Rockets though.

Ain't sure how this two Stars will have a good chemistry not unless they are now matured enough to adjust with the type of games that they have, Westbrook and Harden are both good for individual talents, we will witness what adjustment they both willing to take in order to gain more winning chances.

Base on what bitgolden have mentioned, they had a past of playing together since kids and I think they're treasuring playing those moments up until now. I think before transfers and trades, there will be a consent or notification for each player of the team just to inform that they will be added by another player or someone from them will get off to be traded off elsewhere. Of course the number one benefits is that they really know each other already so there is not a question of chemistry or blending, it just how they're going to raise the bar next season.

As opposed to teams who did a complete overall, they might go on the usual adjustment periods. Specially if the core team is gone already. Just like what happened to Cavs when he left Cavaliers twice.

Hopefully because it's both MVP playing together and this team has been in the WCF once, so in order to see some improvement, they need to be in the Finals.
I think it's still possible, but let's see... I still have to remain optimistic for their chance, seeing new team in the NBA Finals would be more fun.

I guess if the core member remains intact from the previous seasons and just adding up to bulk up the team specially getting role players for a 1 year contract and the team remains healthy throughout the gruelling 82 games, most likely they will have a better chances.

Team building up from previous seasons its different though, acquiring new players to work with a new play style and system takes time, in my opinion.

That means there is no drama happening in their roster unlike Houston, OKC and a lot more. Hell even GSW did once with KD and Green.

I'll look more closely on the team that has a decent change to be in the Finals, actually Bucks was a good team but they are fully hype when they beat the Celtics convincingly, I also lose as I bet on them against the Raptors and I think they it's hard for them to beat a good team with only Giannis carrying the team, why? because he is so predictable, same team, so possibly same result.

I think it is more than just notifying each other, I think it is about trading the guys people actually know in the team and like, you can't trade for a guy that everyone hates. Harden was the only one training with Westbrook on the all star break, they played at the same AAU when they were kids, and they played in the same team as non-stars of a team before as well (they were still 2-3 of that team but Durant was the star).

When they heard about the trade coach mike came to harden and wanted to talk about his vision of how they would both play and Harden said to him "I have known him for 20 years, I know how he plays" , they are literally super excited about playing with each other again, it is of course sad that OKC lost 2 MVP guys to Rockets but at least they are back together and will have a good shot at winning it all.

Best player in the world? Not for now but someday this guy would have that slot.He's still young and there's still lots of space to improve.

Other teams or opponents might able to see his weakness but doesnt mean that he would completely be isolated.There would always be an upgrade on anyones play.
