Raptors managed to show the world two things for sure. First of all warriors are no longer "definitely going to win again" team without Durant,-snip_
One game and you are saying that... Don't make a conclusion yet, the last round where Raptors won, they were down 2 at the beginning and most of us here are saying they won't win against the bucks. Now, it's the GSW who are in the situation, and we cannot underestimate them as they are still the defending champ here. Durant on the other hand even if he will not play, the warriors can still manage to win, they were successful and became a world champion prior to Durant's arrival, so they deserve some respect. if they loss in game 2, I would still respect them as game is not over year, they can win 2 straight and tie the series... Then.... the rest would be interesting.

Raptors managed to show the world two things for sure. First of all warriors are no longer "definitely going to win again" team without Durant, if warriors lose Durant then it means their reign might be over very soon, this off season if Durant leaves then there is a 90%+ chance another team becomes champions next year.
On the other hand raptors showed that Draymond is no longer that defender everyone remembers him to be, he is still alright but Siakam literally destroyed him, if Draymond faces a team with no good PF then he can help his team out which makes him a good defender because he helps everyone out but if he is facing with a good PF then he is unable to even guard his own man. I don't care who wins the ring this year, the decision Durant will have is the biggest deal in a long time.
Oh cmon! Dont do that. Draymond is still one of the best defender in the paint. It is just that he is being exhausted from running. GSW still want that fast pace game where they are good at while the defense is not yet set. It is just Game 1 and it is Toronto's homecourt. It is a good thing they have won game 1. Maybe they should also take Game 2 before GSW finds out the weakness of the Raptors. Remember, Kawhi's leg just got hurt again in game 1. They may want to finish this fast before that becomes a reason for their loss.

It is likely to happen as GSW priority is on Klay.
That's a good decision if they do that, it was Klay and Curry who make this team popular and they should remain as Splash brothers for the rest of their journey in NBA. They will prioritize Klay because he and Curry are the ones who made the team popular with their threes. Even though Klay didn't get a supermax deal, I think he will stay on the Warriors because championship is better for him rather than the money. Counsins also needs a good offer otherwise we won't see him with GSW next season. If this is the case then GSW better utilize KD in game 2 or 3.
That's one season, and cousins did not contribute well for the team, he is so fragile and he should be shipped to other team. They have a lot of talent, they have bogut for his position and the Warriors just have to score through green, curry, and thompson. I think they must give up Cousins next season. He didn't contribute that much in this season and he is always in an injury. I think they must find a taller center to match the tall centers of different teams.

Today is the most important game of the finals for Warriors. I hope that they are going to bring on a tie the series, but I would find it more interesting if Raptors make it 2-0. Either way it would be a good game that will clear up how both teams will behave in the next games.

Base on what I read, they are speeding up his rehab because of loss in Game1, so I guess wether they tied the series or 2-0. KD will be back in Finals but forcing him to play while not in his top condition is a risk. His injury may trigger and will be totally out in Finals. Hope not, Like Green said, they really need him to be back in Finals. It's a 50-50 chance if he isn't there.
Not only that, if they force Durant to play and will aggravate his injury, that might affect his future and that's involves a big lose of money. I'm thinking that rumors might become true that Durant will be in Knicks next season. https://www.sny.tv/knicks/news/nba-expert-predicts-kevin-durant-will-sign-with-knicks/297923888The rumor is that him and Kyrie will be teaming up in New York and at least chase a championship with Irving. That rumor has circulating for some time now specially when GSW played very well against Houston and of course the Portland series. It proves that they can win without KD, so there's a big possibility that it will happen after this season. Knicks need a real superstar and both Kyrie and Durant can bring this team to the playoffs. Durant already achieve his dream to become a champion and always achieved many MVP awards, there's nothing for him to prove, except bringing a bad team to the playoffs, and possibly giving them the championship, we can call him GOAT if he can fulfill that mission. Teaming up with a another superstar might give them a chance to lift this team up, if KD will signed this up chances to bring his fans to knicks will be much anticipated, it will be a good future ahead from this franchise if they will allow this trade and rebuild to happen. Playoffs or a ring will definitely adds up to his personal porfolio as supreme superstar of this league.

Congratulations to Toronto Raptors, I've wanted to see another team get this season's championship and I'm counting on them.
Game 2 the Raptors still has the advantage so it might be 2-0 on Monday.
I think this is the time that they need Durant to defend Kawhi. Kawhi is just unstoppable along with Siakam on Game 1. Curry got his 6th consecutive 30 point game but the Raptors just shot better than the Dubs. They just need Durant and the chances of them to win the championship will be higher. At their current roster, I don't think they will win. He won't play for the next game, that's base from the article that I've read recently. They may need KD for the next game but the current players can handle this. It's just an unexpected situation that the team of Raptors handled it very well, they shouldn't just focus with Kawhi. It's not a Kawhi team but it's Raptors that has other players to look at. When they will be down 2-0, I think that would be the time that he will play. It's hard when a team is down 2-0 as the chance of winning the series is also low, so they will make sure they will have him in game 3 in they failed tonight. He needs 1 more practice before going back to the game. If they will be on 2-0 is totally difficult to regain their confidence but it's going to be at their advantage for the game 3. The game's gonna happen later.

Lol mate, it's just one game and you say that Green was destroyed by Siakam? I'm not defending Green here, but we can't take him out of the equation because we all know that he is really a good defender. As for Siakam, good for him to step up the plate in game one but he needs to be consistent. Let's speculate about Durant's decision after this season, let's focus on the series itself. It will be a tough battle for the defending champions here, but it is too early to say whether Toronto can overcome them with or without Durant.

Durant is one of the most stronger player of the warriors without him the whole team is in danger possible to get take the advantage of the raptors if durant not showing in the championship series.

Yeah its really still early to conclude things up just basing on game 1.We wont know if Siakam would really have that consistent play until the end of the series because adjustments will be made and about Durants possible switch off with other team then theres nothing they can do about if he would really jump into other teams on next season but for now they should face up other team in finals.Gsw is already a reigning team without Durant in the past so i see that they are really capable on turning tables.

There you go. Series is tied now. As for Klay Thompson, they can't afford to lose him in this series and it seems his injury isn't that serious, hope so. No worries for Looney spot if ever, other big man can fill it especially Cousins shows some good playing time here in Game2. Just a guess, this series will go to 3-1 in favor of Warriors of course.

Klay is barely needed even KD will be expected to come back, the splash duo's really have the combo that no one can counter hope Klay's injury is just a mild one which he can play the next game,. Expect more dominance from GSW in front of their home crowd, the DubNations will bring the noise out coming this game 3.

Series tied, good job by the warriors, they stayed their composure in the game, and that's what experience can give you. They did not panic despite being undermanned in the game, and thanks to the bench who step up big time and give the warriors the lead. Once they are in a comfortable lead, it's hard to beat them. With that being said, I'm with the Raptors in game 3.

Now that is called a drought.
Raptors cannot find their offense at 3rd quarter and the 4th. It is like there is something blocking the rim. They are free, the looks are good but yet nothing really goes in.
Even with the injured Klay, GSW still got the win.
Now what will happen in game 3. It looks like a bad injury for Klay. How will their find their offense now.
Curry will take it all in his shoulder and we will find out now if he is the real MVP.

First day predictions are harder because you don't know how teams perform in the beginning of the league. Pre-season games show a little, in regular games you can see teams better performances.
Atlanta Hawks - Detroit Pistons Although I'm expecting Atlanta win this match will finish very close.
Chicago Bulls - Cleveland Cavaliers Derrick Rose is not back yet, he's injured in practice again. Cleveland can win this season opener.
Golden State Warriors - New Orleans Pelicans Time to see Anthony Davis' capacity this season. This will be another close game and I'm in side with Pelicans.
Sometimes with their performance during eliminations semi finals can be a source to predict who will win in the finals but there's some instances that because of luck and not of skills anymore. If we will see their skills they are all good but the thing is they're strategy to win the fight and of course their luck. So as of now raptors and golden state warriors are now tie all 1 .

If there's no Klay and KD beside him, then it's need for Iggy and Green to back him up, with how cousins dominated the rim, they can still be manage to compete with the raptors, it will be a test to this defending champ if how good they've build the chemistry and show how they can adjust helping each other.

I believe that it is better that Curry has been left alone to win the series. He is an amazing 3 point shooter that can score a lot of points from this position. As long as Klay and KD for example, are injured he is going to take more opportunities from 3-points position and will make GSW's playstyle easier.

On the last play, the Raptors defense pressure work but that leaves GSWs' Igoudala a wide space for an open and uncontested three that sealed the game.
However, if let's say it missed, I do think Raptors have enough time to snatch a win as we even don't know if they will able to steal the possession.
Kudos to Warriors adjustment in defense.
And with the Warriors win in Game 2, the thinking now changed again lol. See what I'm trying to point about Game 1 winner shouldn't dictate the winner of the series and resting period doesn't really matter?
The series is unpredictable, that's it. No such thing as predictable. Anyways congrats to the winners of the unusual @2.0+ odds for the Warriors ML.
