Excellent Warrior's defense on the Raptor's last play, doubling Leonard and forcing him to give up the ball then Iggy was quick to recover on Lowry and slightly blocking the shot. It's not Lowry's mess but the excellent Warriors defense should be recognized. 

Credit to warriors defense as well, but they can be aggressive as they are not in the penalty that time.
Leonard help the team to come back and lead by 8 points IIRC but the hot shooting of Thompson and Curry easily help the Warriors to regain the lead.
Raptors are due for a loss in this game as they don't dominate the Warriors, and we know how good the Warriors are in the dying seconds of the game.

I say it now, better luck next time Raptors, you only need to win 1 game, so the advantage is on you.

Lowry is really free at that time of the play, or should I say he should be free.

Mark Gasol is too close with Lowry. He should've pulled Green under the rim to give more space for him. Iggy already gave it up just to stop Kawhi and Kawhi didnt make a mistake to pass the ball. He knows there is someone who will be free to shoot.
I disagree with some analysts that he should have forced it because he had the better percentage to make it.

Green somehow got a piece of Lowry's shot which we didn't even see or noticed. But with the angle of that shot going to the side of the glass says someone really touched the ball.

I wish GSW just let the game go and lose the ring but keep Durant, that would have been a better trade off for them to be honest with you. Now they are without Durant until 2020 and they still have 2 more games left to play which they will play without Durant, is there a chance they get the cup? Sure but I would wager there is a bigger chance Raptors becoming champions this year and the result will be GSW with no cup plus no Durant until 2020. It was a bad decision to rush him back to the game and they were idiots to test him so early into his injury.

I think that both Thompson and Durant can be in the line up. I don't agree that it is the one or the other. They can both give value in the team. However, I think that Durant is better not to play in the next match as he will be prolly out of shape.

I agree it's a gamble they shouldn't even made, they risked the future of a gifted player just for another shot at getting another ring. Whatever the reason behind we should all give credits to KD, sacrificing your future career trying to help your team to win the game, those minutes that he played give enough time for the team to be inspired and play as a team, noticing the efforts not only by KD but also by Loony who also suffering with
injury last game 2,  next season will be dictated after this finals so one step at the time.

It's not about one or the other, it's about the salary cap which Ivan already talked about. There are so many options for Durant even if he is currently injured. The Knicks would probably welcome him with open arms.

Most rumors are saying Durant will most likely go to the clippers next year.  He already won in Golden State so he may want to establish himself again as the best player on a team instead of being in Curry's shadow.

I won't be surprised at all if the Warriors end up winning this series.

It did make some boost up to his team but still a hard fought game resulting only 1 point lead.On game 6, we can already presume on what would be the possible outcome.

It's probably his own will that led him to play on game 5. He just can't stand and see his team fall in front of him. I thought that we're about to see a buzzer beater with that last shot of Lowry.

At first glance i thought it was a mess shot by Lowry but when i do review it,green do able to tip it which is the reason for it to be missed.

It isn't iggy but green did able to tip out that shot from Lowry.Double teaming Kawhi is a priority yet Warriors know that if he do make that last drive and make a basket then its all the end for them.

Let's give credit to the man for playing in Game 5, even not in good condition but still able to contribute even for limited minutes. Not a fan of KD but what he did in game 5 was exceptional and the guy deserves the respect of a true basketball fans. He may not play the whole season next due to that decision so maybe Bob Myers could keep until next year for a freebie  .

Lot of emotions for the Warriors going into game 6 as they want to dedicate that game to their fallen comrade while the Raptors momentum have hit a wall, they could have end the series but experience in closing out championship games is not yet in their nerves.

He admits he can still play for 2 seasons but not seeing Charlotte Hornets will compete in the championship the way it is right now even with his help. Well, truth speaks. What do you mean Curry's shadow? It's the other way around, the rumour is that he is heading to New York but we will see. It was just sad to see the KD suffered another injury and you can see how emotional the owner of GSW here. So it's really up to him if he wanted to leave but the team has given him all the support.

Correct, we can't really deny his contributions in Game 5. I mean his mere presence might probably spark the Warriors to hit those shots in the first and second quarter alone and it gave them enough cushion. Others said that Durant is soft, but he proved his critics wrong again by scoring what? more than 10 points in that stretch.

Time for him to take a rest now and forget another comeback in Game 6.
