Reports had it that Davis declines max extension offer but he is not expected to leave the Lakers after this season.

What is the rationale of this move on the Davis camp?

What's the next move for Davis will be decided maybe by the end of their campaign for this season. Of course it depends on how well the whole team perform and what's the outcome this season.

There's only one reason, he doesn't want to play with the Lakers anymore, it's not a money problem but maybe a place or teammates.
With his stats with the Lakers, sure a lot of teams in the NBA will be eager to sign him and give him even a better contract.

Im bit shocked that he would consider on finding another team or doesn't want that max extension with Lakers in spite of his record together with the team.Reason might be a personal one or who knows? But if I were to say which AD shouldn't leave the team yet that would be a big loss.

The offer is 4 years $146 Million for the extension. If Davis waits until summer for free agency, he is eligible for 5 years $202 Million contract. That is $56 Million reasons to turn down the offer. Just like what others above me said, it is all about money.

Dallas will be playing against Denver.  I won't bet on this. Too unpredictable. 

I'll go for Nuggets. Dallas have a bad record playing at home.

 It took me for a while to understand who you were talking about, its lavine man, not lavigne Those are some good dunkers, I loved it when they faced each other for the pure talent of it but lets be honest here, there is no "entertainment" like there used to be. I remember in 2011 when blake dunked pretty decently, mcgee had some crazy dunks, ibaka being robbed when he should have been the one that won and all the other jazz, before that there was blake dunking over a CAR, and even before that we all remember dwight howards superman, nate with kryptonite and so forth. Dunk contest used to be about entertainment and not just talent, lavine and gordon could be even better dunkers I can't say much but they are surely not as entertaining as back in those days.

Dallas have bad days on that day, but there's a possibility they'll recover constantly in the future. Nuggets is a good team, but still I would bet for dallas because I've been their long time fans. Even though they're unpredictable, I don't lose trust on them.

Anthony Davis is definitely staying for the same exact reason people mentioned, he will get more money in Lakers for sure next season when contract ends.

However, what people are missing out is what happens after the 5 year ends as well, I know 26 right now and 10 year period looks too much but if he waits until next season he will be 27 and he will get a 5 year contract which will put him on 32 years old, when you are 32 years old you get veteran max which is different from regular max, and at 32 he will have advantage of both being still good and bring something to the table but also very old when the contract ends, just like Chris Paul for example.

So, dude will have a chance to have his last 5 year contract and make INSANE amount of money in the next 11 years with 1 year waiting ,5 year regular max, 5 year veteran max, that is like close to 400 million dollars or so, that is literally close to HALF A BILLION DOLLARS. No shock he declined the offer now, it was a no-brainer decision.

Not all NBA players are only chasing money and yes that's including the star players of any team. Sometimes if a team doesn't compete enough in the league or their management doesn't have the desire to win it would be enough for a player to switch onto another team to get some rings. Not all NBA players are only chasing money and yes that's including the star players of any team. Some times if a team doesn't compete enough in the league or their management doesn't have the desire to win it would be enough for a player to switch onto another team to get some rings. It is not so easy to just go to another team and win a ring.
A player might join an team but next season a big draft might turn things around. So it is normal to me for a player like Davis to stick on a team just for the money.

Just for reference that Davis camp already made it clear prior to signing to Lakers that regardless of where or what team he ends up this 2019-20 NBA season, he will go into Free Agency in 2020. And yes, surely his camp will look into something good for him in the long-term as they don't want to waste his remaining years of being in prime. One of the reasons why Davis camp requests for trade on his former team is because of a poor strategy overhauling the roster of New Orleans Pelicans. This team literally wasted Davis talents for years.

Here in Lakers, LeBron is 34 and Davis is 26. We all don't know if LeBron is still the same LeBron once he turned 35-39 although surely there will be a change in his performance. I do believe that Davis's camp decision will depend on how Lakers will end up this season. Also, they will surely be watching the Lakers move for their plan of change roster next season before making a final decision if they will stay or not.

As athletic and healthy LeBron is, he cannot fight father time. He is getting old and prone to the consequences of it like getting injured, getting slower. We cannot never really tell how effective he will still be next year.

That is why I don't like to bet. I am not in a good position here. 
I love both teams and I know they could also come back from a losing streak. It is just difficult to predict. Betting here would just be for addition of excitement or for whomever your a fan of. There is no assurance of profit.

Bad game for them, Jokic come out to be the hero in the game while Luka were not able to pull his magic in crucial times.

Tough defense coming from the Nuggets got them the win. They have forced turnovers for the Mavs in their last two possessions. And good play double-teaming on Donkic on their last play. It is also a good choice to give the ball to Jokic to make the winning shot.

I think the last play could have gone different if Porzingis is playing. It would have been easier to make the play and clutch shot for Doncic if Porzingis is there to lure the defense.

I think the Nuggets has done their job on minimizing the output of Doncic in this game. Of course they should put a body on him since his the focal point for the Mavericks. Though the Mavs almost win it, the Nuggets showed how to play defense on the very end of the game which results in turnover for the Mavs.

Most of the starters of the Pistons are injured, so Cavaliers has a decent chance here.
