~ And teaming up with other superstars doesn't mean he will have a bad reputation. It makes sense to do that now as he's close to entering his post-prime too. We all know Lillard already put a mark on the stone that he won't leave the Blazers but the wind can change the direction anytime. This is true. If he really wants a championship, he need to either request for the management to have some All Star Players on his team or he will be going to a championship caliber team AD said in the that he will stay in Pelicans back when he was there and he will try to get a championship but what happened years after?? He ate his word, joined with LBJ and there he got a championship. Base on my observation, just only one all-star isn't enough to win a championship for me. Just last year, Giannis also said that he will stay in Bucks even though he is a free agent. Without an all-star caliber player in his team, either he will request to have an all star on his side or he will leave if he really wants to have a championship. I don't see teaming up with other superstars a bad move since at this time, that is what we need right now in order to have a spot in a title right . Its not as easy as asking for all star players. Blazers have a history of not being able to attract current top 10 talent via free agency. All of their good players for the last 10-15 years they have drafted.

What a relief from those two who are just watching and taking a rest. But I'm wishing them to be back as soon as possible to see the full potential of this team as a candidate for the finals.
Yes, both are happy with what Harden did in that game. Actually Pacers were up double digit but Nets rally and in the 4rh quarter they take over the game. Still Harris contribution is consistent, hopefully he will be able to maintain his numbers once the 2 stars will return. I think this is the first time to see that their bench players have shown what they've got.
not really, but they got more playing time here since two stars are out. This is the good thing about the Brooklyn Nets because they were doing such kinds of things throughout the season. they cannot be underestimated in terms of how many points their opponents lead them because they always catch it up in there is some time left. Both their starter and bench players are capable of doing that since it was just proven today.

Durant, Irving, and Griffin, these are the stars I really admire, so if they will play together with Harden, I think Nets will be a better version of the Warriors superteam with Durant on it. Harden has prove us again that he is legit and his chance of winning the MVP this season just keeps rising. That triple double came effortlessly, unlike other players which are just stat padding just to achieve it.

And mind you, he sits like 9 minutes of the first quarter if I'm not mistaken that's why Pacers was able to built a 15 point early. But Nets and Harden slowly eaten that lead. I would commend Claxton, he did a super job on both ends of the floor, blocking Sabonis and then hauling 11 rebounds.
Irving and Durant having a good time watching Harden's one man show.
The bench players did showed great in this match, don't forget about those threes made by Harris. Harden, no doubt is really like that without the two key players. And basically, the other teams shouldn't be only worried about their main and key players but also these support players that have played well. Indeed a great match and Harden surpassed the expectation of most fans for this game, IMHO. The bench support for Harden is really terrific, he got the support he need. Harris and Claxton with Green and Jordan every support that Harden needs was been provided by those role players behind him. Nice to see that KD and Kyrie both enjoying the game, watching Harden showing his leadership and lifting the nets to win this game.

Unpopular Topic about Timberwolves:
Its really sad to see D'Angelo Russell having to suffer because of his injury and you are also seeing their line-up is not doing well even though its a good thing that they are giving Anthony Edwards the minutes he deserve. Towns is not stepping up enough to carry the whole game even though he is a prominent big man. It just sucks because they have a play-maker on the team and somehow they cannot make it work. Their team is healthy most of the time and its just now that they have complications but even though the future looks bright for Edwards, they need to bring help so that they could at least lift the team off of the slump.

The whole Nets is really stepping up and even though Durant is injured, some of the players are supporting Harden to play the best of his game every time. Harden is now back to stacking up his stats by tallying triple-doubles at his recent games. Net's bench is one of the best thing to see when watching their games because everybody is consistent and their morale is still high even though they are missing key players. Its also thanks to Steve Nash's great coaching because we really are seeing that without Durant and Kyrie, they are still playing the same plays with different players and still able to pull it off. They really need this kind of leadership and that is why they are one of the best teams in the league even before Harden came in.

As always, the bench really did a great job. Harden does not only score but he also facilitate the ball very well, and that is evident by his 15 assists in the game. He has turn into a legit superstar now, Durant and Irving could relax while still confident that Harden will bring a win, and that's what happen in this game.
I do not know when Durant is coming back, I do not know half of the return tables for most players on that team. But I know one thing, I want to watch Kyrie-Harden-Durant-Blake-Deandre line up at some period or another, I do not want them to be constantly injured and not get to play together for a very long time. Sometimes injuries take out players and they never end up being the complete team they were destined to be, if you asked me years ago about a Curry-Klay-Durant-Draymond-Cousins five I would say that it would be champions without even a single chance of losing, but what happened? Almost all of them got injured, literally nearly all of them, and they lost to Toronto that year. That is why I think Nets need health more than anything else, if they are healthy they are going to be champions for sure but there is huge chance we may not see that five at all because of injuries.

Then less exposure now at those good bench support players. Just kidding but it's a fact. The reason their bench able to step up because they need to as their key scorers aren't available. And that was a great opportunity for these players as Steve Nash sees them how they played in a pressure game. Maybe some support players will get additional playing time on their next games.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Portland Trail Blazers.
This is a rematch, will the Pelicans correct their mistakes and win this game convincingly? If you still remember, they made a lot of mistakes in the last seconds of the game and that was really a costly mistake that give them an "L"..
What do you think about this, which team should we bet to win?

It's overall praise including them. No one gets left behind when a whole team is being praised. And when it's about the talks for the MVP, that's when fans are going to be divided with our thoughts. And what's more, if KD and Kyrie will play together Griffin.

Yes, lesser minutes for them if the key players are complete. But Nash would likely shuffle them and give them all the playtime that they deserve as long as they're showing great stuff inside the court. That's why the opportunity that was given to them was perfectly used by the bench players.

We all are waiting for them to play altogether. That's a boost for the Nets roster but with the recent match that they've played, Harden + the bench mates have played well and I think coach Steve Nash can rely on their roster. Even if with all of them play together, there will be a vast of players that Steve to choose from. Resting time for their main players would be great because everyone is reliable.

Not just for Steve Nash but for the Nets franchise. The last time they went to the Finals was in 2003 as a New Jersey Nets led by Jason Kidd. For Coach of the Year, Brooklyn Nets just need to maintain at the top of the standings as the criteria for this only applied to regular-season games regardless of the result in their post-season run.

Yes, I think he might become emotional if ever they will win it. They are a great team before. Nash, Amare, Bell, Richardson and Hill. He even got a 2 time season MVP but yet they could not complete it until the Finals. If ever, this will be like his redemption and that includes the other Suns team back then. Mike as their coach before (asst. coach now) and Amare as player development assistant.

Yep, not a player but with being a coach, must be fulfilling if Nash and Nets will win the NBA championship for this year. During his prime he is one of the best, specially when he was with Phoenix, those games against Kobe and the Lakers are still in my memory. Kobe dunking him, arms extended. His chances are high that Nets with the 3 superstars will go to the finals, perhaps Bucks and Philly are going to be the 'thorn', so to speak.

IIRC, he will be like Steve Kerr that won the coach of the year during his first season as a head coach of the Warriors, the only difference is Steve Kerr won a championship when he was still a player of the Bulls.

Yes great achievement nash almost have a ring in phoenix if not, with the controversy with the spurs and officiating when he had suffered a broken nose and bleeding in the court, that would be great but I think he has now the opportunity, te be called as champion if they will defeat the west contender in the finals, because east is just too easy for them at the moment.

It was a disaster actually when Nash join the Lakers, too many superstars and most of them are in the downside of their career that's why they didn't win any championship back then. Yeah, he could be the next Steve Kerr, but obviously, Nash is the better guard between the two, even winning MVP honors. But its a total ball game right now, he is somewhat doing a great job with the Nets and hopefully one day he can also be called NBA champion.
