What do you think of this kind of decision guys? I think this is the dumbest thing he could ever do with his NBA career unless he has someone who gonna pay him more to change to another team after the end of his current contract.

Shroder is a natural point guard, he maybe thought that he cannot maximize his real talent because they have Lebron James who are playing the point guard position. Maybe this is the best chance for the Lakers to acquire Lowly in exchange for Schroder if this is possible before he will be free agent.

Yes, any player can turn down offers specially if they feel that they are being low ball. We have seen this in the past. As for Lowry trade, it's a good decision by the Lakers not to acquire him. He is already 35 years old and way past his prime. Maybe they could get someone later, at a cheap price and developed that player.

Yes, any player can turn down offers specially if they feel that they are being low ball. We have seen this in the past. As for Lowry trade, it's a good decision by the Lakers not to acquire him. He is already 35 years old and way past his prime. Maybe they could get someone later, at a cheap price and developed that player.

They don't need another scorer as the current squad got a lots of talents who can provide what Lowry may add.

Agree that they can acquire other young star, player who are capable of adjusting while Lebron and AD still dominating this team, for now
with a healthy lineup they are still a team to beat.

And with Drummond addition, he can provide quality minutes to help both offense and defense.

You think you know better? These athletes have agents that handles all matters related to the business side of basketball. I bet he got an advice before turning down the offer.

He's not that young anymore so he may as well take full advantage of the chance to maximize his earnings while he's still able to produce double figures even from the bench.

That's a good deal if we are going to look on it, but like what you have said this player have it's agent, people behind his career who
are also exploring for more possibilities.

If both player and agent agree not to sign the contract they've got that right. They can look for other opportunities, for sure they are trying to maximize his talent and possible that there's some querry behind him, scout who are also interested to sign him with a much better deal behind.

yep Windhorst turned it down as he also said it depends on incentives but 21mil per year is what I'd have considered the upper limit of Shroeder's value so I think he's a fool to turn that down.

The problem for him is he's valuable to a contending team but as a 3rd option/6th man at best. No rebuilding team is going to throw that sort of money at him and most contending teams can't afford it, either through capspace or clearing out their higher paid guys to fit him in so again I don't think that he had tge right decision in mind.

Drummond’s first game as a Laker is tonight on ESPN. I’m not sure about watching the entire game with no LeBron, but I’ll definitely have to pop in and see how the team looks. Not expecting much after one practice but you never know. Drummond will definitely slow Giannis down a bit inside.

Yeah, they only need to get to the playoffs and I think but what I've said about being at the top again, that's after the finals. There's still a lot to be seen from them and other teams are also exciting to follow.

Now that the trades are done, we'll be able to see the true potential of each team.

I think there will be no problem since the playoff is played into 7 games so, no matter if you're at 8th or top seed, it will come to who will have 4 wins at the end of the series, LeBron already played those type of games and I think that will help his team with the experience of Lebron James, and they believed that if they have lebron they can win it all, that is what matters if your teammates trust you.

He's like their power booster and that's why some of his teammates are playing better when he's with him. He truly adds value to the team and he's been like that for years already.

Russell westbrook could be the weirdest player that is playing currently in the NBA. We assumed nobody in the entire world would have averaged triple double for a whole season, dude did that and he did that 3 years in a row, think about it, we assumed it would never happen and he did that three years in a row, that is insane to think about. Like consider this, wilt chamberlain has the 100 point record right?

Consider someone scoring 100+ points 3 games in a row, yes not only they will have to score 100 points and then some, but they will have to do it 3 times in a row. That is why I think it is quite obvious that we are looking at something special when we are talking about westbrook. Yet he is also so bad at some other things, like his three point shooting, or his turnover rates, and the fact that he never won anything, a guy who did something so astounding becomes someone not that great in discussions.

That's exciting to watch and how the team will play together with Drummon. I think that he's going to give a blow performance against the Bucks and sure he might not stop Giannis wholly but will give him a hard time just as his purpose.

Not really but I get your point that it's Lakers and a possible championship team with Lebron. There must be some greater reason why him and his handler turned down the offer.

I don't think the Lakers would still pursue to trade for Lowry and the Raptors because they (the Raptors) was asking to include THT for the trade package which is too much for a 35 year old Kyle Lowry.
The Lakers could probably find another option to trade for a much deserving point guard for Schröder. Or they could keep him until the post season ends.
I don't have a certain idea why Schröder turned down that $84m contract with one of the most successful franchise in NBA history, probably the biggest since his Atlanta days contract deals.

With no Lebron, the game gets really dull for me. But I also wonder how Drummond will play in his first game at Lakers. He is a really great center and maybe he can make a great start at his new team. If Lebron also was able to play in this, I'd definitely want to watch the game.

What do you think about Gobert, Mitchell and Clarkson? as I'm telling, they cannot just underestimate this team. They might look not so strong but they're proving themselves.

But yeah, being #1 at the standings doesn't mean that they'll be the champion but, the reason why they're on the top because they're playing well.

No doubt. Chemistry wise, you cannot fool around when it is the Jazz you are up against.
These teams are the contenders against a strong Nets if ever they will meet in the Finals.
Nuggets also fortified their roster signing in Aaron Gordon.
Suns also have a lot of chance if Ayton will heighten his level of being a center. It's just not enough yet.
Then there's Celtics, Bucks and Heat.

They may not be filled with Top 20 superstars but they can give a good fight when the ring is on the line.

There are other teams that don't get much hype because they don't have the known superstars in their team. But look at the stats, they don't lie and their performances will tell that they're really one of the strongest team.

But just lowkey because not all of us are fans of them.

DeMarcus Cousins to the Clippers... probably now that the Lakers moved on Drummond, Cousins had to take his best shot at a title. I’m guessing the Nets didn’t want to make him an offer. He was the best big man in the league when he went down with his injury back in his Pelicans days. A shame that happened. He could have been one of the greats.

Its a personal view of things but still i do love to watch on how Drummond would mixed up with a new team. Teamwork might be mixed up a little bit but it wont take much time when it comes to
coordination and teamplay movements.

DeMarcus Cousins  has less impact in a team now, that's because he is prone to injury but with the Warriors, he was able to contribute, if only Thompson was not injured, Warriors has a chance to win a championship and Cousins will get his first.

Redick traded to Mavericks, I guess this one is a big news too, you can trust his guy in the playoffs, he has a good shooting range and he is already a veteran. I guess Mavericks are just doing a great job here but it seems Redick is not happy. Thoughts?

I guess he doesn't have the bargaining power here, of course the Management will say that he will be traded to X team, but we all know that a lot can change and most probably it was in the best interest of the team to have him trade to Dallas.

Feel sorry for JJ, but it is what it is. Everyone can be traded in any teams, whether they like the team or not. He should have known better.
