I haven't watched the NBA for a long time, but I watched Dallas Mavericks vs Utah Jazz the other day and it was a fun game.
Kyri Irving had a great dunk that night. I haven't watched a dunk like this in a long time. We should not forget that Luka Doncic's assists were very good.

You are just right in term as you have watched the best version of the Mavericks this season. Kyrie and Luka's chemistry is on fire and they make everyon better. I bet they'll bet the Suns again when they meet in the playoffs, and it will be Luka getting his first NBA finals appearance.

Their defense is just not good enough and against solid teams they often get exposed. Obviously health is another issue.
They are the classic 3 headed dragon offensively but on D they have many problems. 13th place in defensive rating doesn't sound super bad but that's just in the middle of the pack and if you want to win a chip this must be much better. Hell, even Memphis has a better def rtg than Phoenix.

Underrated. That's one of the guys in the NBA that have always been laughed about.
C'mon let's face it, those claps are not to boost him, that's a way to just make comedy out of him.
But this dude had been playing like the Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns. He can shoot, he can D, he can move without the ball and still, he have fewer minutes than Suns players who are not really contributing for the team.
I get it, the name is what defines him for other NBA fans but he had been working his ass off just to prove he is worthy of more minutes.
Bol Bol is phenomenal and he is not even playing for 20+ minutes. The Suns management should think about that twice because he had been effective on both ends of the floor.

Every good perennial team needs a Bruce bowen type of player that you can use to sick on the opponents best player.  I agree with everything but still think they are good enough to challenge deep into the playoffs.  Any team with Durant on it will always be in the mix.  Dude is impossible to cover and can get his shot whenever he wants.  They will have issues with a Denver type of team, they won't be able to stop jokic with that D.

If the current standings will be the standings for the playoffs, both the Mavericks and the Suns will only face when they reach the Conference Finals which is for me, low to no chance. TBH, I don't think that both teams will be facing in the playoffs because they might get eliminated already. I love both the Mavericks, and the Suns, but I have a feeling that they might get eliminated in the first round. I hope I'm wrong though.

I can't think of any player that's impressive on defense, and on offense.
Like you said, I don't also think that the Suns are a team to watch out in the West because of 2 reasons and you said it already. Defense, and injuries. It's kind of funny that a team filled with G-league players have a better defensive rating than them.

Anyway, if there's any team in the West that other teams must watch out with, it's the defending champs. I also put a huge bet on them on Stake that they will win the Western Conference, and the title as well.

The Suns just need to give him more playing time. They can develop him and he'd surely become one of their contributors. But I am not just sure with the contract that's given to him.

Still got the numbers of games that might change the whole standing in the west side, teams who have that strong desire to move in the next round will need to push their way in winning their remaining games.

I agree, Rockets has a easy sailing in their last games or so, unless they suddenly went cold. But I doubt it, they have the momentum now, playing great without Sengun and everyone in the floor wanted to contributed. As compare to the Warriors, in which their age as showing in the 82 grueling seasons game. Klay is underperforming, Curry's average points per game is going down, chemistry is not working well. And right now the Warriors are trailing the Wolves in the last minutes of the 4th quarter. Everything looks doom for the Warriors now.

Aside from the Warriors, I also love the Maverics to win the title with x31 currently. They are just a great team now, I have nothing to say against their performance and I liked them more because they are healthy.

Lots of games left and there would be a lot of changes to happen that's why we cannot be so sure on the result since there might be changes to happen on top 9 and 10 on standing. But we can say that rockets still kicking since they are doing an impressive performance and there's huge chance that they can replace the 10th seed on the west which is the struggling Warriors. If they can able to win 2 more games for sure they have good chance to enter on play in. Don't know what happen to Warriors this season and it seems their current rotation is not effective anymore so maybe they need to change their strategy since they always got defeated nor struggle each game they played. A lot still believe that Warriors can get into the playoffs but I think the chances for that to happen is so low now that they losing and that can affect their morale.
