I didn't think Dallas could win. The series 3-1. I don't think Dallas can turn this series around. Boston can win the championship in Game 5. I think they will.

He knows that the probability of this is very low, but they want to use that probability.

We will see, according to Kyrie, they just need to get one victory, and so they does, likely bring confidence in them. But he also said that it will be though going into Boston for the next game. But it's going to be all out, we don't want the game to have huge lead. And if ever the Boston Celtics will win this game, hopefully it will be very close so that it will be very exciting for us.

They know how dangerous the Mavs at home, so if can't finish the business tomorrow, I guess we can expect a game 7 here.

He is still questionable if he can play, I don't what to expect but in game 4, he suit up but didn't play, so most probably the injury might be serious. The story going around now is that Klay Thompson received a 3 year $84 million dollar contract offer from the Orlando Magic and when he took the deal to the Warriors for them to match it they wished him well in Orlando.  So at least right now it looks like Klay will be on the Magic for the next three years, likely his final years in the league.  Not sure if I like this end for him, but Orlando at least made the playoffs this year so they are a legitimate postseason contender.

So he's going to the Orlando Magic, they did great this playoffs and maybe he's gonna be a good fit in there. This might be the time that Klay will play as the captain of the team then.

It's gonna be new adjustment for him but Magic's roster seems to be better for the last season's that we've got.

And IMO, he's gonna be a good addition there and might take farther than their run on the playoffs.

if this will happen I agree that he will be a good addition to this young generation of stars, Banchero and the rest of the cores do need veteran player who can give them insight with how to improve both offense and the defense of the team, before the injury Klay do really that good support for Steph not just with his shooting capabilities but also as a star stopper, just like how Pippen did for Mj, that's how Klay support and help Steph, and if ever that Warriors will let him go, his experienced might be a good addition for this young Orlando team, let see if that will happen or if thers's still negotiation behind from the Warriors.

This is due to the influence of the current result. People beliefs can be easily confused based on the recent results and not the overall game progress. There’s a lot of Dallas fan out there that’s why those who already lost their hope comes back again to support since Dallas already show a sign of revival although the possibility of reverse sweep is very low since they are against Boston.

Dallas only chance to get this done is when Boston once again choke while they become consistent especially Gafford on dominating the paint. Boston weakness on game 5 is lack of rebounds that’s why they have less 2nd chance points compared to Dallas.

That is the very definition of sports though, I mean the Dallas team just needed one game to get themselves going in this series. And so they got that in game 4 and you can hear post game interview that Luka believed that they can make it and become history.

For sure, but they will have to take it even in American America, if they losses this one obviously they will have to go back to Dallas again and try to win that game. I would agree that the confetti is already in the Boston Garden already but they will have to go for another tough game here.

If I was in his position I would just say simply that we know their weakness and they may not win another game anymore. Ain't that true?
This ain't a lucky win. The Mavs weakness is Luka Doncic not playing defense and if he do, there's no hole anymore. Tatum scored but most of it are forced. JB have a rat on his body and he is scared to shoot the ball against the strong men of the Mavericks beneath the paint.
So, the only thing that's hindering the Mavs to win more games is them.  Play defense and another blowout will happen.

For sure he is very humble because it is only 1 game win and he will surely not give a hint if they have seen a weakness in the Boston Celtics or if it is because of Kristaps Porziņģis absence They will never say that way as the game is still crucial anything can still happen the Mavericks may have won the 4th game dominantly but it doesn't mean they already won it all for sure he is still keeping it to himself he doesn't want to spoil the game for sure.

I believe that NBA can be rigged but not from the cooperation of the players, refs can rig it but not the players. let's just say that the body language of a team that are down big time is really different when they are up, and in that game where Dallas have a huge lead early and no matter what the Celtics do they cannot go back, so it's kinda mix emotion to them that they are frustrated at the same time. Man, let's just give that to Dallas, but if Dallas still beat Celtics in game 5, then that would prove they didn't rig it, Dallas just found the way to beat them.

Great observation of what the Boston Celtics are doing I have noticed that they are like a different team I don't really consider that it is all because Kristaps Porziņģis was not on the team but the Dallas Mavericks are getting fired up and Dereck Lively II was doing great in the paint area he is saving so much with the rebound and making great defense while Luka Doncic was even active with chasing the defense and the ball it was really a team play and so the Boston Celtics might give this game for them to be ready in the next one, I guess only Boston Fans are thinking that this game final was rigged.

I’m a little bit sad today. Feels gloomy knowing that it is likely the last day of the NBA season. Sure, there will be offseason drama to keep us going, but no basketball for a while. I wouldn’t mind seeing Dallas extend the series a little longer, but my money is on Boston ending things at home tonight.

I think it was meant to be and everybody should be happy about it. Doncic carried his team all the way here, he prevented the sweep in the finals. But there was nothing more he could do, because this Boston team has been the best team in years. They showed in the regular season that they were the favorites, they lost only 2 games and made it to the finals while the strong teams in the West were beating each other. Most importantly, they managed to stay healthy, except for Porzingis. Having a star like Horford on the team made up for that loss. I think they have a super 8-man main rotation. They are the most deserving champions. I expect them to close out the series tonight.

Yes, experience wise, they need someone like Klay.

But we will never know if they're going to be a chemistry since there have been players that think they're enough for the team and think no need for any addition.

Pritchard with that long 3 to closed out the first half as the Celtics established a big lead, 67-46. I think there's no stopping Boston now from claiming another NBA championship this season. Everything is falling for them in the first two quarters.

Of course, the Mavs can make a comeback, but Luka and Kyrie as struggling, and they have a lot of turnovers already as compare to Boston wherein there are a lot of players contributing like Horford who might taste his first championship after being in the league for so many years and then Holiday, his second and thanks to the Bucks for letting him go and it was a blessing in disguise for him.

The Celtics are very close to ending the series. Tatum didn't start the first quarter well, but the second quarter he was on fire. They used the paint very well, and they also made accurate 3-pointers. Everything is going as it should for the Celtics. The Mavs didn't do anything right. They can raise the flag of surrender early. Dončić's battery looks dead, Kyrie can't do anything. They got 3 three-point contributions from the bench, but nothing else. At one point the Mavs closed the gap when Mazzulla switched to a 5 short players lineup, but the Celtics played last minutes as well in the second quarter as they did in the first. I don't think the 21-point lead will be closed. Only 24 minutes left for the Celtics to win another championship.

I'm surprised no one is talking about who will gonna win the NBA Finals MVP. it's obvious that Celtics will close the series tonight but no one knows between Tatum and Jalen Green gonna win the MVP finals. But if you ask me who will the win the Finals MVP, for me I think it's Jayson Tatum because of what his doing right now (game 5). If Tatum wins the Finals MVP I also win in contest in our Local Board (Pilipinas). 🤣

And there you have it. There's the real game of the Celtics. Some insisted that game 4 was a legit Dallas victory. Well, there's another game to refute that. Every Celtic can dribble, drive, and carry that ball to the basket and make some scores. As to the Mavericks, well, there are only two. The rest can only wait for that pass from afar and make that shot.

The TD Garden deserves this. The Celtics fans deserve a championship victory right in front of them. That has long been elusive. It's long overdue.

It's official, the Celtics are the champs for the 2023-2024 season. Dominated the Mavericks the whole way and won the championship in front of their home crowd. Congrat's on the win!!!
