I see that most talks today on this thread are about the trades and not about what happened to the first round draft pick. Well, I've read a lot of comments on many of these draft picks video that this is the weakest draft that they've ever seen. It's totally different from last year where we've seen real contenders that were drafted. Anyway, Bronny hasn't been drafted yet on the 1st round and the schedule was different for this year because tomorrow will be the time that the 2nd round draft pick will happen. Let's see on which team he will be drafted or will he be drafted.

Legion Hopps is reporting that Rich Paul is calling teams and telling them not to draft Bronny James. Reportedly he is telling them that if they draft Bronny, he will leave to Australia and it will be a waste of their pick. He’s supposedly doing this in order to open the door for the Lakers to get him, which they just did. LeBron and Bronny together next year…

OG Anunoby[1] agreed to sign with still New York Knicks for a $212.5M deal for 5 years. This is a wise move for the Knicks and as well as OG.

As long as the price is right, they're going to make these deals very fair and easy.

Wow, this deal is hilarious in my opinion.
A career 12 point per game player in his 8th season and he earns 40 million per season from now on, wtf is wrong in this NBA right now. Sure he is a good player but this salary is just WAY too much for his caliber. This super star salary, go to guy salary, he in none of that.
His other numbers are also not impressive, not even 5 rebounds or 2 assists per game in his career. I don't understand what desperation drove NY to offer this kind of money.

They always give that contract they think when they don't want a player to get away from them. It's crazy and you'll even see Lebron getting another good contract from the Lakers.

And now, while the Lakers have drafted his son, there will be father and son duo on the team.

The NBA teams has so much money and that's the reason why they also have a salary cap because if there's no rule about it, for sure that they'd offer even more to their stars.

Honestly think it's a waste of a pick but they couldn't have Bron leave the Lakers in JJ's first year that would be disastrous.  Bronny landed in a good spot.  He will be a made man with no one messing with him and he gets everyday coaching from what I consider one of the best shooters in this era (not alltime).  JJ redick can turn bronny into a serviceable player.  This is going to be so annoying every sports center and sports radio station gonna gush over Bron and bronny all year.  Can't wait

Yeah, that's what many thought of that there are other better players that have been undrafted so the influence of Lebron was there and with the new coach, JJ, we'd see that he'd fairly gonna be used for this roster. Now that it's all set and they've drafted Bronny and made a historical move that in the very first of its kind, a father and son playing for the NBA is actually a record setting situation that can ever happen.

I haven't followed all of Bronny's journey on college but I've read that many weren't too impressed on how it went. Now that he's here, he's going to be forcefully do at his best being with the Lakers and with great people surrounding him of course, first is his pops. Second, the other teammates and as well as with JJ Reddick.

And that is the topic right now that I have seen in social media, that there is nepotism here. But regardless there will be always nepotism in any sports, from coaches to basketball manager and President and specially players.

So they've made history already and I think that's what really Lebron wanted to accomplished even if the Lakers were not that team that drafted Bronny.

TBH, it's a bit expected already because that might increase the chances of Le-GM getting that 3-year contract that they offered to him. With the Lakers' help, his dream came true hence, they made history as the first father-son duo in NBA history.

Even though they drafted him, I don't expect him to be in the NBA next season, but at least he can hone his skills in the G-league first, I guess. As for Le-GM, I expect him to not opt in to his final year of his contract to become an unrestricted free agent then he will sign a 3-year max contract with LA as well since they are willing to give it to him.

And so what the Lakers did is a win-win for them, and so Lebron will probably extend his contract with the Lakers and then making the history as we all know off to be father and son, first in the NBA and again, Lebron's record could never be broken again.

Not sure though if he will go to the G-league but that's a good move to really sharpen his skills and test it again former NBA player in that league or other great players trying to improved and make a point and maybe some day they will be given time to go up in the NBA.

Not sure what's more annoying to me right now..WNBA's Cameron Brinck tearing ACL (thats one tall tree I'd love to climb...gahhh damn she's a looker.  And helped trained by her god brother, the shooting goat Steph)!, this presidential debate or soon to come BronnyCenter  ..the once amazing SportsCenter ( I miss the old SC so badly...Stuart Scott needs to come back and save us all..I still miss that legend!).

And it might put a lot of pressure on Lebron or in his son to perform better, so it could be positive or negative for Bronny. But he has his Father at his side so for sure he will give everything to his fan as sort of passing the torch. So there is going to be very high expectations for Bronny, and we will see how he is made up. JJ Redick for all we know might be a coach that Bronny needed. Shooting form, how to go to screens and many form. And they should understand that they will be in the microscope for sometime but I guess the James will know how to cope with it.

That makes two of us.  With them seemingly trying to get rid of Durant while being stuck with Beal's contract, it doesn't look good for my Suns next year.  I knew they'd regret giving up DeAndre Ayton and this whole mess has played out about as expected.  I figured Kyrie would do the same thing to the Mavericks so at least that was a surprise.

I don't want to comment on my predictions for Bronny.  After being wrong about LaMelo and Wemby, I probably should steer clear of making predictions about incoming players.

Yeah it sure was expected and it's also sad to see, very sad. Any other player with the same talent wouldn't even be like a top 100 draft pick, if there was such a thing.
But name and influence is a real thing. Let's see how long Lebron can talk him strong until the media and fans will get sick of it.

Of course it's nice for the young man to be able to call himself a NBA player but the pressure must be immense now. Also normally people want to accomplish things on their own terms, I can't imagine he is actually happy with this situation. He didn't even play well at USC, a team that sucked last season, how will he be able to compete in the NBA??

Time will tell but I don't have high hopes for him to actually make this a success story.

Seems like Denver’s window is closing already. Caldwell-Pope reportedly will be testing free agency and Jamal Murray is seeking a 200+ million dollar extension. I don’t think their roster will get any better from here unless they replace Pope with someone better somehow. A shame because they have the best wings in the game, but I’m not sure how long they’ll be able to keep this team together now that people will want to be paid.

If Paul George declines his player option for next season and signs with the Warriors, it would really weaken the Clippers. However, I think Leonard is unlikely to find a new team because of this situation, as he still has a huge contract and the Clippers obviously won't just let him go.

They will be playing at their new arena "The Wall", Intuit Dome and I think Steve Ballmer would want to be a blast so he might not let go of his star players but instead strengthen them more with newly acquired players even though he will pay the luxury tax. If he wants his tickets to be sold in their new arena then it better be filled with players that are entertaining to watch.
They don't really lack talent, they just lack chemistry and because of injuries they cannot complete their best production.

I am more curious about the recent rumor of the Wiggins trade as the Golden State Warriors are aggressive in exchanging him for a decent player. Wiggins is good as a defensive player, the Nuggets should try to look at this one. Wiggins with AG and KCP will be problematic for their opponents. Who they can trade? That I don't know.

It seems that Knicks is ready to waste their money for giving such huge contract to Anunoby. Maybe they see something that we don't see and they believe that the guy has potential then they could develop to release its all star level potential.

But OG is young so I guess they believe so much on his talent, that's why they secure and give him long contract to stay on Knicks and lets just see if he can prove that he deserves the contract given.

He's stats is not really that impressive but maybe he do something special on the court and make him a valuable player on Knicks.

I mean he wasn't "that" good, he played with 14 points and 4 rebounds, I do not know how much his defense can be valued at that. We are talking about 40 million dollars per year or so, and I feel like that is way too much. They now got Bridges too, but I still think they aren't as good enough to spend this much as they are doing.

Between Brunson, OG, Bridges, Randle, they have some good players there is no doubt about that and if the team chemistry works and if they all stay healthy without getting injured, then they will have a chance to go far. However, even if all of them are 100% healthy, do you really think that this squad could be champions? I don't, and I think spending this much money on something that doesn't end up being a champion contender is a silly move.

Both teams are going to be weak in my opinion, if the Warriors acquire PG, they might have to lost, Kuminga, Wiggins and GPII along the way. Klay wanted out to that will also be a big factor for them. Same with the Clippers, losing PG and then they will have Kahwi as their franchise player although it seems that after they got him, it's not rewarding for the Clippers as well.

I do agree, Wiggins might performed poorly, but going to another contender team, it might be like a second wind for his career and could re-ignite him if he will be traded for former champion Nuggets and he might be a great fit for them.

We will not known if this is the weakest, although from what I read, the 1st round is another Frenchman if I'm not mistaken? And obviously the talk is about Bronny James acquired by Lakers as their 55th pick in the draft and so history is made again by Lebron James, (so not sure if you haven't read that he was already drafted).

I think this one is a really good trade, Curry does need a partner that is a good shooter and PG is an all around player, so it should be a go. Draymon, PG and Curry, that's going to be a championship team for sure, so hopefully his rumo will materialize as the Warriors franchise is slowly shrinking.

Might be a chance for PG too to win a championship.
