This Olympic team will of course win it, but I guarantee you that it will be harder than they think, hell I may even say that they may fail to do it as well, we really don't know what's going to happen. We should realize that things aren't as easy as it looks, and we could potentially see them do something different, maybe it is going to be harder.

I think the best way to go about this situation would be just realize that they could just calm down and play slower, because if they want to play faster, most of these players are old, and they will not catch up with other teams, but if they slow it down, they are more talented than all others and they can get better results. Lets see what Kerr will do with this team.

Yes, it will be. For the past 20 years, they have been having some trouble with other countries like Spain, Lithuania, and more. Now, it's Germany, France, the Greeks, the Aussies, and Canada, and they cannot underestimate the Serbian team too. It's not about having superstars, for them it's a fight for their country and the chemistry is stronger when you have one goal.

They got used to playing it fast because of the mindset that other teams are slower than them. It's different now, more countries are better and I think the fact that most players who are dominating the NBA are international players, they should be careful with them too.

Batum is a tough one, he deserve another contract in the NBA. I think that's why they are willing to let go of Paul George because they are banking that Harden can still perform quality basketball. And we all know that when Harden is the Alpha he can take the team by himself. So it might be good to have Batum again, as their primary defender and then his clutch shooting.

Not sure about Kawhi though, he has been declining and Toronto is lucky that he was able to bring back a championship for them as I believed that was Kahwi's prime and after that he moved to Clippers, he was not the same as he was injury prone.

The current ranking still puts the USA at the top spot. I think I agree with this because this is a better version of Team USA. They sent a younger team last time during the FIBA World Cup and they lost. But now, they have the best players, the veterans, so I think they'll do whatever it takes to win.

You can always say that, as the majority of us believe in Team USA. However, I want some thrill, so I don't like seeing Team USA dominate every team they face. Yes, and probably it was something to do with his Father as well, who is the assistant coach of New York Knicks, so at least he respect and give Knicks a leeway somewhat and instead of signing it for next year for a max contract for him, might be better this year and then see how it goes not just for Jalen but for other teams as the Knicks could still sign some good players to be added so that they will be a complete team and could make a good run just like they did last season. When it comes to sports like Basketball, Football or even track racing you'll surely find individual playing for countries of their choosing, take a look at the case of the Williams brothers of Athletic Bilbao in football, Inaki Williams the elder brother represent the Ghanaian national team, while his younger brother Nico Williams is currently playing for Spain in Euro 2024.

Let's for instance how many Canadian NBA players were actually born in Canada or do not possess due citizenship ? at the end of the day it's always comes down to the individual choice of the player.

Yeah its individual choice on where they want to play. But unfortunately there are fans that doesn't like the decision of Embiid to play in US since some of them like to see him wearing Cameroons uniform. But their want didn't happen since he decide to join USA. Maybe they should respect the decision of Embiid since he can choose to play wherever he want. They are just taking everything so heavy and got angry when their expectation didn't happen.

Brown issue is not done yet and for sure there would be a lot more discussion to come. But if brown decide to stop and focus on other things maybe with thay we can see that this issue will fade out naturally.

There aren't many basketball players who can do that. While everyone is looking to make more money and get bigger contracts, you cannot find a player who will do such a big favor. He is a very well-intentioned player who has acted as if he has been in this team for many years.

That's a big difference. However, I think Brunson decided not only to give the team "financial comfort" but also not to push his luck. I mean, so many things can change during the regular season. If he gets injured or performs worse next season, the offer from Knicks management might be worse than it is now.
