Bronny's defense is good but he need to be a threat on offense so that he will not became a liability on Lakers. But everything is good and he get that $7.9 million guaranteed contract for 4 years since that means his future is secured  and he has a lot of time to learn and improve in Lakers organization.

And another is that I thought that the trade is done with Markannen and then it involves those players,  . In any case it seems to be very quiet right now as there are not trades and perhaps everyone is focusing on the USA team in the Olympics for now.

As for now, the Warriors became silent for days already with regards to the Markannen trade, but IMO, I don't think that it will happen unless the Warriors will go all in, give all of their young players and draft picks just to get him which seems to be not plausible but can happen if the Warriors are that desperate to get him. I just saw a Facebook post a few hours ago, and it seems like the Jazz really want these 3 players alongside other draft picks to get Markannen.

Now the question is, will the Warriors give their young and talented players just to get one player that's considered an all-star. They can add Wiggins to the mix and don't get Kuminga and Moody. That would be better, right?

This is the first time in history that there's situation like this happened and Lakers is making sure that they going to draft Bronny no matter what it takes since they want to be part of history in this duo, but as well they want to get more bigger revenue for what curiosity of this tandem will be created. For sure lots of Lakers fans is waiting for this season to open since they want how a father and son duo will play together. Although we cannot expect something big for Bronny since we all see that his totally raw or not NBA ready yet but maybe Lakers could do something to improve the performance of that young guy.

The signing of Bronny will probably be a win-win for the Lakers, even though he's not a very promising player. At least because this contract allows them to keep LeBron for at least one more season, and I think the Lakers will probably try to capitalize on the father-son duo in various ways. At least the Lakers can increase ticket prices.

After watching the Team USA vs Australia game I can say that it isn’t a major concern. Team USA got off to a big lead early on and then seemed to let off the gas. Players like Joel Embiid never seemed to really make a good effort. I think as time goes on we’ll see USA’s players put in a better effort.

For sure a lot of pressure will come to Bronny as to many people expect a lot for him. Many fans would think that he need to improve since he has a nice team and his father is so good on the game they are playing.

If he will not produce good result and became a bench player of Lakers for sure that lots of criticism will come to him and he might be out on Lakers or maybe in the league in span of 2 or 3 years if he did not improve his performance.

But what thing about Bronny is  good defensively, but his shooting sucks that's why he need to work this out since their team needs a shooter.

Or perhaps they are just putting like 79-80% as this is just an exhibition match but when the real games begin, it will be a different effort. And again, Australia has been playing together for many years to it doesn't surprised me at all coming back, so let's give them credit for that.

For Bronny, yes, the spotlight is on this kid, but he should know how to handle it. His father has been in the same since he entered the league, and we haven't heard any rookie in the last 20 years with so big hype maybe except Wemby last year. But this is different, this is Lebron son's so there will be a lot of comparison and the media are going to scrutinized his every move inside and outside of the court. It might be good for him that he will turn out to be a good defensive player for all we know.

I feel like he won't play that long, he will probably retire after this year if he feels like it, but we still don't know, dude is still okay.

Bronny on the other hand looks like he needs to calm down a bit first, he is missing shots that he normally makes, anyone who has seen his tapes, or his stats, would know that he can hit a wide open three, he is athletic a bit, not like his father of course, but nobody is athletic like his father, but shooting three is something Bronny can do a bit, like at least when he is open, and he is missing even those, hell he is missing FT's at a higher rate. Either that is because he is stressed about finally being in the NBA, which lets face it who wouldn't, or he is just letting all these nepotism callers get to his head.

He isn't good at all IMO. Bronny is at best a towel boy and should just take another career path. I'm looking at his stats and he averages 4.8 points per game in college, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. That's not what it takes to play in the NBA, especially for the Lakers. He will not last long in basketball unless he shows some massive improvement.

And that's why people think that he's in control but no. The signs that Lebron has shown through being a free agent is there and he even lessen the contract and years of possible signing. It's a brilliant thing for a dad just to make himself play with his son. Now, they're the first one to make this history. Will they make another history of father and son to have the first championship ring? I guess that's even the better or the best of the best record in history that might have someone try to beat it in the future. And not to mention, his other son Bryce will come soon and I guess that if he's still in the league then another consideration might happen and this is what the fans didn't like after the Lakers drafted Bronny.

That's to accommodate more players, including his son. LeBron really wants to win a championship with the Lakers again, which is why he signed a lower contract. It would be nice for his legacy if that happens again, especially with his son this time. LeBron is a great father and a good person; he has charities to help people, making him a good example as a basketball player.

I agree and people don't see that and they throwing all the hate on him without knowing what it's like to be him personally. Well, no qualms about it with that and hopefully that they'd end up with a good result for this season.

However, you can't avoid thinking that he might have influenced the Lakers to draft his son. That's probably part of the package, but I don't think the Lakers are at a big loss even if Bronny doesn't average good numbers since his contract isn't that significant. Let's give him one season and see how the Lakers perform.

What they've got pretty much is a reserve player that they can develop just like any other teams. But those that have got a good rookie are part of their main roster and starting five already and we don't think that Bronny will be on that part for now.

It may seem that the USA team had some problems with Australia in that showcase game, but that's clearly not the case. I think they controlled the situation on the court, considering that all the players of the USA team performed relaxed, and many of them were on the court for less than 20 minutes. By the way, Embiid only played 16 minutes.

I would think if this wasn’t being kept secret I would’ve heard something about it. Maybe I missed the news? I don't know, but it's only an exhibition game, and they don't need to go on full throttle on that match.

I doubt that they will go all in on other countries on exhibition games because there's a chance that they might get injured. They only won by 6 against Australia despite them winning by double-digit by a stronger team in Canada, but we know that the USA team will win, right? Like you, I don't also see it as a major concern as well, and I will not be surprised if they will be losing on one or two of their exhibition matches just because they didn't go all-in.

That's what you get when your father is one of the all-time greats. He knew it already right from the start, and the pressure is getting him.
We knew it already ever since he's in the college that he will not be the same as his father. Averaging single digit in points during his college stint is already a sign that he will not be like his father. The fans are only the ones that are expecting that he MUST be. I feel sad for him as well because he's getting this much attention, but it is what it is.

As for Brown's statement, with how he's playing right now, I guess I will agree on him. Bronny to G-league? There's a chance, but of course, Le-GM will use his powers again so that it will not happen. Poor kiddo indeed.

There's a chance they kept that news so that they won't use that reason if ever they win or lose or maybe he broke at the last game of the Finals against the Celtics or after that.

Gary Trent Jr. with the Milwaukee Bucks? I think that's a good addition. Now they have more shooters and they need that badly because their plays are too predictable with either Giannis Antetokounmpo holding the ball or Damian Lillard. Also, I think they need some good plays and stop the isolation plays. It's a losing play in this era unless they are all KD.  

Seth Curry is now a Charlotte Hornets for a 1-year deal. I don't know if this is good because they are still a small ball line-up with forwards and guards. They need a legit center and pair it with LaMelo Ball if he is going to be the face of the Hornets.
