Not the result expected for the complete roster Sixers as they got defeated by the Nets.
Yeah, it's just the preseason but some fans already made some assumptions on how the Sixers would end up in the playoff bracket, lol.
Can't judge yet for their 1st preseason game, but one thing is for sure, they got a scary starting 5 and a deep bench.

On the other hand, AD, Young, and AJ looking good as trio in Washington as they defeated the defending champs. I think they are one of the underdogs, rather the dark horse in the East this season.

Trust me when I say that fans are making a lot of assumptions based on just one game only. It's been that way for a long time. I've seen many fans online that are making those assumptions, but if you will ask them, they can't back it up or if they can, it's just because of one game. As for the Sixers losing to the Nets, I don't feel bad for the team because like what you said, it's pre-season only so players aren't going all in. I feel bad for those people who are already judging them just because they lose to the likes of Brooklyn. Wait until you can see them play together during the regular season then from there, we can make some assumptions to them.

As for Washington winning, they could be the dark horse in the west ONLY IF Young and Davis are healthy throughout the season because let's face it. Both of them are injury-prone especially AD, and if both of them don't play, the team is just some mediocre team even though they got Dybantsa and Sarr. I see them as a dark horse this season, but unfortunately you might not see them going all-in for the playoffs yet because they might still tank and when I mean tank, they'll tank in a different way, and also, there are some rumors that the front office will try and trade Davis if he will ask for a max contract extension.

Yeah that IF is the deciding factor. On paper this team looks solid. A mix of promising young players (including this year's no1 draft pick) plus vets that have a lot of experience but still have a huge impact when healthy. I also like the fast paced system they play and in my opinion they would be 1 25-30 point scorer away from being a solid playoff team that could go deep. Buy yeah, dark horse for sure, when healthy they can be anybody, but they can also lose against anybody, they are the Wizard after all.

With Fred Van Vleet's return, Rockets already seem better to me even in a pre-season abroad game. I think they were desperately missing him last year. His unfortunate absence even caused disturbance in the team, although not directly because of it. If Houston had him and they were probably more successful when they have him, there wouldn't be so much in-team drama. Houston seemed like a better team then last year. I like Bogdanovic a lot, he might bring a lot to the team. Dallas seemed like they are missing something important, but of course it is just a preseason game. I wonder what Rockets can do this season. Maybe still more drama? Or some solid success?

I forgot about his return. If he can perform like his old self then I think Houston could be a problem. Durant is always an issue though. It seems like he was still on the trading block and his effect on the team in the locker room is toxic after the burner issue. I haven’t seen them play yet… only a few more weeks.

Looking at papers this team is so promising, their roster is solid and we could say possible playoffs contender team already.

The problem is the health of their veterans, since this is really the main issue of their team now. Look at AD he's so slow on pre season and it seems that he's afraid to get injured again.

Now I think the team deciding factor on the success of their team, if their veterans will remain healthy in whole season. But I bet it would happen, since for many times AD gets injured. Also Trae starting to become an injury prone player to.

If both stars will be out  in their roster, then again we might going to see another classic Wizards performance and rankings this season.

It seems like the acquisition of LaMelo Ball works perfectly fine for the team.

A few years ago, the Wolves are finding a solution every time the opposing team is double-teaming ANT, and let's face it. ANT has became their PG and their SG back then because they don't have a PG aside from Mike Conley which we know is old. Because of this double-team defenders, ANT is having a hard time on offense and that affects the whole team. Now with Ball being on the team, that double-team will significantly get reduced because they'll also need to guard Ball now which we know is a great passer and great on offense as well.

TBH, I'm excited with the Wolves this regular season. Do I see them as a title contender though? Hmmm. No.

Although Kuminga needs to be consistent to be able to stay on the starting lineup. They might have gotten small when they rid Naz, but they could be more dangerous this season. So yeah, could be another good team to watch this season as another "under-dog".

Yes, it's good to hear that Fred will return to the lineup as they much needed a point guard. However, there are rumors that there could be some drama again in the locker room. As there are Rockets player who view Fred as their franchise or leader.

While there could be some that see KD as the new franchise player. So let's see how this drama unfold, we still can't forget about the burner account of KD that was reported and attacking his teammates. So the drama might still continue at the start of the regular season.

Kuminga will get his highlights, but honestly I think he would be better coming off the bench so he can be that #1 scoring option that he wants to be.  He is going to get frustrated on the court with Ant and LaMelo.  I am excited to see that backcourt though.  I worry a little that they'll get too comfortable out there (that seems to be Paul George's issue) and will make mistakes.  I am certain we'll see some great highlights from those two this season.

But I think that is what his contention with the Warriors? That he wanted to be in the starting five and doesn't want to be coming off the bench. And if I'm not mistaken, this could be in the negotiation for him moving to the Wolves. Although he sign just for a minimum, but still there were reports that he wanted to be at the starting five and so the Wolves are willing to give that to him.

He didn't fare though in their last pre-season game and that could be a big question on the coach whether to really put him at the starting five lineup.

So let's see at I think Kuminga still has a lot of potential to be a good player.

If it's not an emergency, he is doing something very unprofessional. I don't want to assume yet, but he could be having problems we don't know about. Since the sports news cannot sniff anything about him yet, either he is good at hiding it or something else is happening.

Kerr mentioned emotional support. I think that is a clue that he is dealing with something personal or maybe something else, but not physical. He may be good to go physically, but there could be something going on his mind. This will not be a good start for the Warriors without him. They need every bit of help they can get especially now that they do not have a good roster.

What Porzingis could really bring to the team is a problem due to him being injury-prone, so I guess the Warriors kind of expected that this could happen, and I believe being a good team with lots of veterans they are already prepared for this. I just hope that Porzingis will be able to come back in the regular season, not necessarily in the early season but at least he will come back, Warriors need some size and he will be useful.

With those things he deals in life. Warriors is in big trouble, knowing that they just newly signed him with whooping $40m contract.  To bad that Warriors include him on their long term plans, but yet he can't deliver.

With all he is dealing with, I think the Warriors deserve to know, because he is under contract, so not going to practice is already a breach of contract.
There must be a serious problem for sure, it could be more than emotional since if it's just a physical injury it would be easier to disclose to avoid problems later.

Now the Warriors will have to adjust to it as there's no specific timetable as to when he will return and what will happen after.
