Since Embiid is quite prone to injuries, the 76ers need to protect him, and preseason games are clearly not the right stage of the season to play a player like him.
In fact, the 76ers need to find a way to make Embiid less prone to injury. That is, take care of his health so he can make it to the playoffs without another injury, which isn't exactly easy for them.

There's not much they can do to protect him from injury because being a center, his job is to get rebounds and secure the ball, and not only that, he's not just an ordinary center because he produces points as well, being one of the top 3 scorers on the team so the kind of job he has is similar to Jokic's, which makes him more likely to get injured and for an injury-prone player, we can expect, though not hope, that an injury could happen anytime, just like Davis, they are both considered injury-prone players.

Maybe that is the thing with big fella like Joel, his body can't take that banging all 82 games and so they will give him restricted minutes. There could be games that they are leading by a huge margin and his services is not needed.

And with Lebron James at the helm of the 76ers, I think it might help Embiid loosen up and not get that injured. Although as what you have said, even if the team do everything in their power to at least minimized it, totally can't be avoided as he is their center would contest every shots and rebounds.

LeBron and Embiid have both been looking pretty old in the preseason thus far.  I hope this is just because they've been working so hard on their conditioning that they don't want to risk an injury in a preseason game.  LeBron has shown some flashes of brilliance passing the ball, but that's all I've seen from that team so far that's impressive.  Only a few weeks now and we'll get to see them against the defending champs.  I hope they send a message.

How? It's just my instinct and TBH, the negotiations from both KAT and Hart might hurt the whole team for obvious reasons. Whatever you see on the pre-season is just in the pre-season. They aren't going all-in on it, and they don't want to have the same experience as Hukporti was where he's already out for the whole season because of an injury. Speaking of big, with Hukporti out, and Embiid being injury-prone, it seems like Adem Bona will have some playing time as well. More like around 15-20 minutes when Embiid is playing or even more.

As for Le-GM, it's good that he's a great passer because he could be the PG of the team. He can focus on being a playmaker now rather than being a scorer. After all, the Sixers have a bunch of offensive scorers. I wonder though if the Sixers are a legitimate title contender this season.

Yuki Kawamura has been waived by the Clippers. At this point, dude should realize and make the right decision and go home. At least in Japan, he will earn more, plus he will get playing time. I mean, there's nothing wrong with chasing his NBA dream, but he should know when to go or stop. He has given up too much money by choosing his NBA dream. He should have gotten a standard contract by now if there were really a team interested in him. Even if there is, for how long? I don't think he will keep on getting standard contracts. If I were Yuki, I'd go home, earn more, and enjoy having more playing time.

He is one of the most injury-prone players ever but there are times he could contributed big time. I wish there is a way to protect these players from the injuries. My guess is that they don't take care of themselves like Lebron or others. Just my intuition. It makes me very very curious what Sixers will do this year. Can Embiid stay healthy?

Some young players has been compared to him in the past, but all of them fail to sustain same level of competitiveness.

Embiid is already injury-prone and LeBron is past 41. Load management is more important for them than anything else. I'm not sure if they can achieve success this year. On paper they have a pretty stacked roster, but things don't always go that way on the court. We'll have to watch their first few games to see how it plays out. It would be better if Jaylen Brown put the US national team debates behind him and focused on the season.

I feel like the trio could be the best backcourt that Lebron trying to mentor (Maxey, Brown, Edgecomb) but feels like they want to be the face of a franchise and will someday got their own team to lead. That's my worry and it feels like chemistry will be rare with that type of squad. I'm thinking they could be a contender but not that type of a championship contender, the fans are just hyped on it. In the East I'm excited to see more with the Wizards, feels like they're more in sync.

When it comes to Tingus Pingus, the term "consistently" isn't applicable for him because... I don't even need to say it.

We all have a dream and we will only stop if we feel that it's not worth it anymore. For Kawamura, he'll never stop playing in the NBA as long as there's a team that's interested on him. If the time comes though that there isn't anymore, that's the time where he'll go back and play on Japan. The leverage is on him at the end of the day. He can go back to play in Japan anytime he wants to, or he can try and play overseas if he wants to.

He's still 25 years old. Still young. Let the kiddo pursue his dream.

I think its because of his respiratory illness when he is still in Boston, that is being threated, where too much standing make his heart beat faster, also with fatigue dizziness, and difficulty breathing, this is not a normal disease or not easy to cure i think, that is why he is focusing on this, imagine just by standing, heart beat faster and is sometimes dizzy.

LeBron's play in the recent videos is really bad, I hope the King is playing like this because the league hasn't started yet. I want to see the greatest living and playing basketball legend still play like a king before he retires, but he seems quite far from his old form and has suddenly collapsed.
Maybe he'll start playing like he used to in the coming weeks, whatever happens, he's the King. He still has amazing athleticism and the most important qualities a team needs, basketball IQ and experience
