Which debit card is most cheap overall (buying card and adding funds)?

I'm not entirely sure but I guess Its Advcash , the plastic card costs 4.99 USD/EUR only and the virtual one costs 1 USD/EUR and compared to CoinsBank , E-coin.io & Uquid which I have used and ordered before they are the cheapest. It all depends on your needs though , the services I mentioned are Visa while advcash is MasterCard.

Some virtual cards are cheap. Uquid had cards for 1$ and coinzy for 0.5$ but they do have load fees. Coinzy has 5% variation from live btc/Usd rates. The two subjects you're interested in are obviously different. A mildly expensive card might be worth it depending on your needs. I recommend looking into it on your own.

What about funding fees? I guess paying 0.5$ less for card and be charged 5% is scam... Is there comparison of funding costs?

I forgot about the fees honestly as some of them are not available in the fees pages but Advcash should have a 0.99 USD/EURO for funding E-wallet to the Card . I suggest checking the fees pages for CoinsBank , E-coin.io and Uquid for more details to have an idea but keep in mind that some services have actually some hidden fees.

I'm mostly worried about hidden fees (high exchange fee). Has somebody compared them?

Uquid has a 1% conversion fee (charged from BitPay rates) plus 1 0.5% (minimum 0.1$) loading fee. Other virtual cards have more complicated fee structures. I suggest you look into it as others have suggested.

Ok, so I done a small research to see actual funding rates at number of cards issuers. Here is what I found:

XapoWirexCryptopaySpectrocoinUquidAdvcash
USD for 1 BTC911.38889.62883.85906.7907.59898.33
Margin from Bitstamp rate0.61%2.99%3.61%1.12%1.03%2.04%
Price and maintance of physical card for one year (in USD)2029272128.9914.99
Loading fee0%0%1%0%1%1USD
Final amount for 1 BTC (in USD)891.38860.62848.01885.70874.06882.34

The Bitstamp rate was 917.00 at the time of calculation.

So it seems that Xapo, Spectrocoin and Advcash are the cheapest services (Advcash can become expensive if you deposit many times).

It is very strange that providers are charging hidden fees and nobody is talking about it...

You need to create an account with XAPO to see sell rates (rate they'd buy your BTC at). The rate you see at their landing page when you don't have an account is their sell rate (rate they sell BTC at). Same for Wirex, I've written more on this deceptive tactic first used by Wirex here. Cryptopay do the same but at least are more clear about buy/sell rates.

Also, Uquid has a 1% loading fee plus a 0.5% card load fee.

Also, thanks for this. It's hard to calculate such things by hand but I admire your effort.

I have created accounts at all of them and tried to sell BTC for USD. Their might by some errors as I was doing it at every exchange in a row so it takes 2-3 minutes.

I will update information with Uquid card load fee.

I am still unsure with XAPO is actually working with 0.6% margin or if it is a trick somewhere.

Anyway margins charged by cryptopay or wirex are extremely high...

Xapo variation from OWN rates for reference:

With Bistamp rates being around $970 at the time, this doesn't seem like 0.6% to me.

I've added Leupay in the category of related services. It'd come handy to those that have found a convenient way to exchange bitcoin but aren't satisfied with banking services available to them (I'm an example of this, living in Greece). To me, the only downside to their card is a flat 2€ fee for ATM withdrawals.

Are there any other notable "Online bank" services offering debit cards and bank services (IBAN, SEPA transfers) with the ability to open an account online? I've recently looked into n26 which accepts registrations form several EU countries. There's also Fidor bank for UK and Germany.

Do you think such services are worth tracking and adding into the list? Perhaps I could even start a separate thread.

That's a nice list that I wasn't aware of, thank you!

I'll be looking into those and adding services with debit cards in the above list.

Have used Shakepay and I'd say it's quite good, in the 3 months I've had it.  Just using the virtual card with Canadian address.  Very nice interface. 1% fee for loading. $1 monthly fee.   With the slow BTC confirmation times, will likely be using it much more.

Thanks for the heads up. I think XAPO has has been a bit overzealous with their KYC procedures and this has ended up affecting customers negatively. It'd be sad to see them become just like Coinbase.

Neteller has been removed for ever ? I guess It's still a good choice because I just got the information's that even though you can't use the money to buy online or withdraw from an ATM , you could send it online to someone and If he send it back ,you will be able to buy online or do whatever you want with it.
