Every business have encountered problems and as you use it you might encounter it from time to time, even if its not you somebody else will . That's why you should look for a provider that has the least occurence of these (good feedback) and have the best customer support .
im afraid to lost money
If its a legit site you will not but theres always a 1% possibility of it . I don't use bitcoin debit cards thats why you should read this whole thread if possible . A lot of people here already gave their feedbacks .

If you are too scared to use debit card services because you think they are unreliable what you could do is open an e-bank account like the ones Leupay provides and load it with Bitcoin sales. It's nor as convenient but sure more trustworthy.

Other than that, there are reputable providers among the bitcoin debit card services. Coins bank for example have experience in the field for years now and no open accusations against them that I'm aware of.

You can move Coinjar Swipcard up the list I will vouch for them, been using mine for almost 2 years now without a single problem.
Coinjar also has some of the best customer service I have ever had to deal with, very professional.

I would advise against using Spectrocoin with large sums of money due to the plethora of unaddressed accusations against them.  Other providers have a better track record.

Ok i see, i do know about these accusations and Roger is always sure to mention it when i talk about Coinjar but all i can ever say is the experience i have had with the company has been flawless.

At the end of the day it is still an online wallet and i would never recommend anyone keep btc in an online wallet for long and i sure don't do it myself. Secondly when i transfer funds to my Coinjar swipcard it is then out of the control of Coinjar so it would be another company i would have to chase if the funds went missing in between.

Great list by the way  Smiley

So their service allows users to load cards and have a balance stored in them? I agree that this might be better in terms of security. But nevertheless some people prefer live conversion so trust is an important factor when it comes to debit card services.

Yes you must "top up" or "load" these cards before use by transferring bitcoins to then within your Coinjar wallet.

I have to warn everyone to better stay away from ADVCASH. My account has been hacked, stolen, and I feel the customer service mocked at me.

I opened an small account just to try, before getting more involved, about 26 USD. On 25 march, I saw that 25 USD have been moved from my credit card to my wallet again, without my consent of course.

Because of my ignorance about these things, I did the logical, ask.

"Excuse me, I have just seen this morning in my transaction search that 25 USD have been "unload from card" to my USD wallet.

What does it mean...?"

The answer was: "Hello,

Thank you for contacting Advanced Cash support center.

Transaction is in process due to system maintenance, it will be completed in few hours."

I just thought, well, maybe they are doing something in the system, everything ok. The money will back to the card later.

I was just trying the service first, so it is true for that small money I didn´t put too many secure settings, but one of them was the option to wait 3 days for withdrawals. After the 3 days, the money was transfered in bitcoins to a mysterious account.

I asked again if that was something normal, or I just have been stolen.

Answer: "Probably your account has been hacked and stolen, You did not tell us at the beginning that you did not do funds withdrawal transaction from card to account, you just asked what does "unload from card" to USD wallet mean. Also, as we can see 3 days have passed between unload transaction and withdrawal transaction to Bitcoin."

Well, if some client is reporting an abnormal move in her account, odds are that you are being stolen, right?. I was not expecting a dictionary telling me what "unload from card" was. Maybe should you ask " Someone called A.M.F. has hacked my account, whose password was ****, because the air temperature was 26 C, and the visibility conditions are good".

Everything my fault, she said, because I didnt protect my account enough. After I warned about some unusual moves in it 3 days before.

She told me to protect better my account, use the other options and change the PIN of my debit card, that should be done in an ATM.

Too few money, so I better change it and give another change.

I put 5 USD to try, and went to the ATM. In several ATM, I didnt have the option to change the PIN. I only checked in about 10 ATM, because I was charged 0,5 USD each time I tried, so the 5 dollars flied.

Again: "this is what mastercard charges, not our fault".

So not only I have been stolen. It is my fault and also I am charged for trying to protect. I feel like a whore who also have to provide the bed for the customer.

I don´t want the money back, I only expect the one who got it need soon to spend it in medecines!.

I only want to warn everyone against this service.

For me they are dead.

^^ I am not going to quote the whole post above because it should not have even been posted to this topic.
@MtinS, sorry to hear about your situation but this is not the thread for specific complaints, you would be better to start your own thread in the scam accusation section.

Due to reports such as the above, I already have AdvCash in the quarantine section of my post. I hope your problems are somehow resolved MtinSm. Thanks for letting us know, but there's not much we can do here. Perhaps putting some public pressure on AdvCash would help you, but I recommend trying to be cooperative with them because they're the ones that seem to be holding your funds at the moment.

@MtinS
Probably your account has been hijacked. Otherwise you would not be the only one with such problem and the day it happens it will be all over the web in less 24 hours xD. I was going to say you change your PIN in the Advcash website, but I checked and we can't and their FAQ say it can be done with ATM machines. So far I have never meet an ATM machine where I was able to change PIN from any card...

@alani123
Come one, you can't move in your quarantine a site because one or two guys have a bad exeprience with the site. Specially when it's their own mistake, at least in look, like the case of @MtinS. Otherwise you can put everything in quarantine .

There are quite a few reports that have remained unaddressed and accumulated through time. AdvCash was in the quarantine part of the list long before this recent post by MtinS...

I've just added them to the list, but as far as I know the cards are not publicly available to everyone yet. I might contact them to ask for info.

Uquid is proven to be a good service and has nice rates

Coinzy are quite new. No scam accusations that I'm aware of but have high variation from live BTC prices

Coinizy does have some reports of great concern.   I hope I get my money back.

Good to know and thanks for pointing out. It's important to have reports on how services treat their users. I'll have a better look at this thread and will consider re-evaluating coinzy's place in the above list.
