If you could point me in the right direction it would be really helpful.

I am looking for a trustworthy physical visa/mastercard card that I can use without verification in Canada.

I only need about 500 USD /month  to spend in POS and online.

I need the ability to withdraw around 500 USD / month from ATM .

Due to the small limit I need, fees are not my biggest concern , mostly looking for a secure unverified card I can use a couple times a month.

I ordered a wirex card already, upon reading the thread it seems people are complaining so I am worried.

Perhaps checkout TenX, Monaco and Centra threads/whitepapers first and research from there. Those whitepapers should provide some info on fees quickly, checkout page 19 of the Centra whitepaper for a comparison on both Centra and TenX. Centra seems to have the lowest fees for ATM withdrawal.

Uquid allows for several cryptocurrencies to be used to facilitate deposits in their platform. Some of those allow for instant deposits whereas bitcoin I think requires six confirmations.

I can vouch for UQUID. Up until now, my account with them remains active and there have been no hidden fees or nonsense policies about anything. The only bad thing I have seen about them is that their support may be hard to understand and their website might feel a little awkward to use since the design is admittedly not the best. Their English could also use some work. However, functionally speaking, I have had no problem using them. I may also soon try out the Shift card so I will be able to comment on that one as well.

I can not recomend those cards launched on the premise that they are supported by ICOs. Furthermore, I don't know if any of their products have gone public yet so I don't think it'd be suitable for wristsoicy's request. For his inquiry I think that he should look into services that require no ID verification.

Well, I jinxed it. Disregard this vouch, just a couple of days ago they seem to have suspended most of their card functionality without any real update on the matter. They claimed to only take a few hours doing whatever they needed to do, but it has already been quite long and no official statement has been issued. While I don't expect Uquid to be any sort of scam, this may be proof of somewhat an inability to keep their technologies working for the consumer which could be quite inconvenient if you had an urgent need to use the card.

UQUID is having some issues with mychoice, their issuer and the connection is lost between platforms, they are trying to fix it, from talking with skype support, calm down everyone, they will be back asap.

While no official statement I'm sure it must be something serious enough to warrant such delays. I'm sure they wouldn't put their business in scrutiny for no good reason. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

To my knowledge, only Uquid is allowing such deposits. However, they're in the process of upgrading(?) atm so I'm not sure when their service will be available again.

During my research of several Bitcoin Debit Card providers, I have found out that the majority
of providers uses the same payment solutions provider (https://www.wavecrest.gi/) in order to
issue their cards. Due to this nearly all providers have the same verification requirements.
Therefore you will have similar problems with anonymity with nearly all Debit Card providers,
because as an unverified user the limits are very low.

Let´s take Cryptopay as an example:
Max lifetime load as an unverified user is: 1000 €

If you want to spend/withdraw more than 1000 € in your lifetime (!) you will have to provide the
necessary KYC/AML documents, which is in conflict with your goal of anonymous
withdrawals.

If you really want to do anonymous withdrawals, Localbitcoins might be a better way
than a Bitcoin Debit Card.

You would have to be able to tie addresses to the card somehow, so you would have to have an account somewhere. Then, you would need a way to verify that the holder of the address is the true owner and find a way to check that. Would that be the reason for the verifying done anywhere, or is it more in the sense of providing credit and legilsation that has to do with that?

Is has to with regulatory requirements. In Europe it is required to make the customer undergo a KYC (Know-your-Customer) process in
order to use a prepaid credit card with a lifetime limit of more than 1000 €. The EU is even thinking about reducing
this to 250 €, which is ridiculously low.
In BTC terms this is roughly 70 mBTC until you have to verify your account!


The pretext for these requirements is to prevent the financing of terrorism and to prevent money laundering.
However, the elephant in the room, might be the wish to prevent people from tax evasion

Ah yes i see, thanks for the clarification. Indeed I think the tax evasion thing plays a big role in this. People being secretly millionares without the state knowing and taxing, is quite a hit on their income and budgets.
