dont use your internet for a month im sure you can decrease your addiction in half

Well, you realize that this is not the way things works. Generally you don't want to give advice like: 'just stop doing it', 'don't do it - you know it is wrong', or 'it will be better'.
This is not real advice at all. Also, don't  aim for unacceptable or impossible to reach goals.
Right advice should be: 'try not to log in to your online casino for 1-3 days, and instead I have better proposition for you, etc.'

I think if you want to treat your addiction to gambling, and suddenly stop gambling, it is impossible to be done
such as addiction to smoking, you can not just stop

Nope it is possible to suddenly stop from gambling, you just need to find other things to do so you will not think anything about gambling. It is different with smoking, you can't suddenly stop it or you will be in complication because I had a friend that his father get this kind of thing. But any way this is just midnset that you can't stop from gambling, if you want it you can do it
yeah i know that, you can't suddenly to stop to play gambling
that is my questions, I sometimes confused, should do what? to forget about gambling?

First, having no money helps not to gamble. If you have nothing to bet, what can you gamble ?  Grin
Seriously, it is all about self control. If you know when to step away even when you are winning, you will be able to have better self control of yourself. If you're the kind of person who can't control him or herself, you should preferably avoid any casinos/gambling sites and people who are associated with it.

But you really need money to do all things so you can't be no money. It is like you said that people need to control theirselves. But to avoid casino/ gambling may be it is hard for first time but you can slowly bet like usually you make 0.1 bet cut it down to 0.01 and slowly downgrade it and later you will feel this is boring and get away by yourself. The point is you just need to control it and need more time to get out from it

Low betting amount is the best way of gambling. To stay away from gambling we can keep on reducing the betting amount gradually so that the sudden change syndromes can be overcome. Low level of betting will ensure the gambling long run which also reduces the risks involved with gambling.

It sounds easy but it will be very hard to do it. Nowadays most people need to use internet in their daily life. Actually it depends on himself as long as he has a wish to stop gambling he will find the ways. Smiley

Also if you cut your internet there will alway intern going to starbucks or other with internet cafe.

So that doesn't help at all. Just do some gambling but not big amount just little and than control your self that you can stop later.

it won't do any good cause he has to be the one to realize it is not good to lose what he cannot afford to .
of course,an addicted gambler will easily find a different (offline) platform to gamble .
If it is real serious then try getting some professional Help for some weeks.

Yes it is true that low betting amount is good but this is apply only for people that want to stop not for them who want to slowly earn because with people that keep playing slowly sure it is low risk but one day they will not satisfied with this slowly win and will raise their base bet and they will sure end up losing more and more

dont use your internet for a month im sure you can decrease your addiction in half

That will be hard to do since everyone uses the internet for almost everything. Like work and school and such. If you're really addicted and you know you are, I suggest professional help or just help yourself by keeping yourself busy and focus on other things around you.

For me, whenever I have the urge that I wanna keep betting, I take a walk outside and just keep walking to clear my head with some music on. That helps me a lot.

Hmm I really dont get why people still addicted to gambling after suffering a terribly loss especially in those house edge type of games.

I stop gambling "too much" in those house edge type games when I suffered my first big loss this year. I don't have any feeling or desire to since then that I will back again to play on that type of games for "high amount".

Now I still do betting especially in sports betting. I bet between 0.05-0.1 and if I loss its fine.

Well some people just get addicted, because some of them don't do it for money they play for fun and it gives them a kick.
I know what you mean when you loss that big amount, but still a lot of people just play and play.
Is just the fault of people who still play.

Because people get a thrill of placing a bet or they keep thinking that maybe the next round will be their chance to win all their lost money back.

At least that's how I feel about gambling, I try not to do it that often.

that value of "half" has no info you base it on. also, its a lot harder than you make it out to be, these days, the internet is a pretty integral part of human society, enough to say that its a necessity for life in first and second world countries. its all a matter of self control, which addicted gamblers have none of anyways.

If you have a serious problem on gambling addiction i think you need a special handling from a professional . You will always under supervision , controlled and have a good advice that will make you feel better.
If you want a temporarily dissapear and stay away from gambling habits and have a plan to get back later, you can block all the gambling sites as you want.

Ahh I see. Yeah some people don't realize that they're losing so much money but still wanna take that chance to lose more. Which is a shame really and also kind of a waste of that money. It's going out faster than it's coming back in.
