The best way would to have some outdoor hobbies.
I normally play a lot of tennis and go to the cinema's. This makes me not interested in gambling a lot.

is it btc gambling or real life?
In my country you can ban yourself from casino and online gambling site, so you don't have a chance of gambling anymore.
You cant do that in any online sites because we can use vpn if my ip is ban or we register again with another name or email account. So its not a good suggestion its better to give him or her hobby or vacation than banning it to any gambling sites or in real because If you still preventing him/her s/he still finding another way to play again on gambling especially for those who addicted.. |

hi i am getting addicted to gambling.And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much. Any suggestions are welcome  Regards So you know that gambling will only make you lose money, all you need is to keep your funds somewhere where transferring them wouldn't be as easy. And then whenever you think of gambling, remember what happened to you. Remember all the money you lost. Think of how much you will lose again if you play with that money, that usually scares me off of being too addicted to make too many bets with too much cash. |

Replace gambling with something positive.
Find a replacement activity or hobby. Whether it’s jogging, rock climbing, or fly fishing, find something to take the place of gambling.
Good idea. But not guarantee we can stay away from gambling. My suggest to stay away from gambling lets go party with friends and dont remember about gamble or you can play the games offline. |

During the holidays I started gambling again with my friends: texas hold'em, rummy, bingo and so on! So much fun and even some profit! Nothing beats real gambling sitted on a table with cigarettes and scotch  It has been really hard to stay away from it. |

Both conditions drive you towards the end where you always end up with empty pocket.When you are winning or loosing these are the conditions I referred at the start of this post.If you are used to play with bitcoins then convert them into fiat money in other case of using money as gambling do the same and this will help you a lot.

Try to not keep spare money than your immediate needs at you.Keep you Bitcoins in desktop wallet instead online wallet and keep your wallet one day behind the syncing.No immediate funds means no more gamble.

You can bring him/her to far places and i think this is the one way to stay away from any gambling.
and i think it helps to him or her to stay away in gambling and s/he gradually forgetting it..

I agree with this, you can play computer games for killing times like dota 2, csgo or COD. and you can also watch tv series. there's many recommended tv series like GOT and TWD. |
