Start slowly. Keep a separate wallet and limit the amount you want to gamble.
You can then slowly decrease the amount to gamble.
I think it won't working, it will even make you more addicted to gambling.
My suggestion is, bet all of the money you have to a gambling site and then if you lose you will never gamble anymore. Otherwise if you win, you will be rich and get some real business with your winning money

are u f***king kidding me? do u even dare to try your own way? who will be stupid enough to burn the whole all their money at once? and if that happens, no guarantee for stop gambling, at losing case, there are loans everywhere ones can grab and throw to gamble once again, and with winning case, greed may not let u stop, and fed the gamble addiction a big win like that just make it grow dramatically.

So in order to stop yourself from gambling away your money, you could make an all in bet to lose all your money in the first place? Sounds like a plan lol    / sarcasm

Sometimes what you dont expect it will become a real one so people believe that by yolo they would not get anything because it is the last bet. Winning or losing they will stop it no matter what thats why some of them can win through this method but still all games will need some luck when you play it

To stay away from gambling you should go away at least from your pc for a while, you should stop visiting the websites which you learned or gambled before and so one you will leave it completely.
IMO, leave your PC for awhile just to stay away from gambling websites is just a temporary solution because once you are near to your PC, you will start to visit gambling websites sooner or later.
thats not a solution then, in the modern world a lot of things involve use of =computers and the internet, its wont possible to just cut yourself off from a computer without cutting off access to a lot of what society has to offer, unless thats what it takes for some addicts to quit of course.

Try to involve yourself in other tasks.
Start planning wisely about your money.
Get a guide about quitting gambling.
its a lot easier than you think, an addict only thinks about getting their fix, nothing else matters to them except survival and their addiction, they wont voluntarily go out and find another hobby to take up their time. you have to forcibly keep them away from any gambling outlet or forcibly make them do something else.

This maybe a bit off topic but I want to say this : So all this time you already know how to stay away from gambling , what's  the point of this thread if you already know the answer to your own question? Huh Strange.

well if it is an addict, even going to try other methods, he will still be addicted to try to go back to gamble. distraction is actually not a gd solution.

Yes, that is my point, if you're a gambling addict, gambling will probably take all your money, your dignity and maybe your friends and family.  It's not worth it, SEEK HELP.

Golf Golf and more Golf has helped me.  I have an addictive personality by
nature so for me I need to stay busy doing other things. Also things that
can get my adrenaline going help feed that need for excitement. For me its
video games as I'm not a sky diver or anything crazy. Stay away from the
booze and stay busy helped me from constantly wanting to check football
spreads lol.

I use to gamble a lot for on and off 10 years losing everything I worked for. You have to break the cycle the high and lows are addictive comparable to drug abuse. Now I invested my money in CUBE and everyday it grows I no longer have that urge to gamble and I have DigiCube to thank for creating a game changing coin.

The only way to stay away from gambling is to keep yourself busy with other things. There's no other way. I have this tendency as well. Whenever i have free time I tend to go on a gambling site and try my luck. The only way is to preoccupy yourself into other things. It is going to be really hard but its doable. Indulge yourselves into sports or go travel. It might sound expensive at first but it well be worth it. Definitely better than losing it on dice.

That's really a nice decision. Doing so you are not only staying away from gambling but you also earning some satoshies which is the purpose of gambling in many cases. Not in all the cases though because there are some gambling addicts who just want to gamble no matter how much they win or lose.

But I believe you are doing your signature campaign, not for the need of gambling bankroll. LOL. Deviating your focus is the simple method to stay away from gambling addictions.

That could actually work sometimes. If you lose a significant amount of money or something you were not supposed to lose then you might get sick of it and don't do it anymore.

he talked about all the money, not just a significant amount. lose all and become a beggar immediately.

To stay away from gambling you must need a iron like heart. Because controlling your emotions is not an easy task. May trail accounts and faucet earning provide some substitute to your addictions.

its a temporary solution at best, an addict will never voluntarily stay away from their addiction, you need to forcibly keep them away.

something like that doesnt exist for addicts, getting their fix is the only thing that matters in their life, and playing with a faucet or something is the worst thing they could do, thats just feeding their addiction, and theyll want to come back and play more. the only way is to have another person or people forcibly cut the addict off from all gambling.

Gambling with trial account or faucet money will just increase the eager of a gambler to gamble with real money at higher amount of bet. So, I doubt that will help.

Life sucks.
