How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ?

Like any addiction.  You need to find out what triggers it.  Once you can control the trigger you should be able to control the actual problem.  As others have said, if it becomes a really serious problem then you are and probably should go and seek some help so that it doesn't ruin your life anymore.

First think you have to do and consistent to yourself.

Playing demo is not a good idea i think you still teach hi, or her to play it. Its better to make a vacation with family and forgot it.
If they play demo it will comes to their mind why im not play it with real. if i play real i can win. so not advisable.

Addiction is not healthy for anything. I make bets because I enjoy it. If I see they hurt me I immediately stop. I think everybody can't do that. If you are desperate about gambling you should see professional help. This isn't a joke, it's a psychological problem.

I dont think so because by playing demo people will try again gamble and that will never make them stay away from it though. Some of them even thinking some strategy that they can even use by using demo play. This is gambling not drug addict although the addiction is almost the same but I am sure both of them are not in the same league

I think playing demo is even more dangerous for some gamblers, because when they win in the demo mode and in case they win, they will anyhow arrange money and deposit. But, yes can be good for some people.

My experience when stay away from gambling, when it was I really a lot to lose in bitcoin. then I never go back and I tried to find another activity that is more fun or a way to earn money is better. but then I go back but just for fun and do not play with the use of capital.

For some people may be they can still find some work to do that can really profitable to them but for gambling addiction I dont think so because most of their mind will tell them to keep on gambling rather to find some work. They are already in their comfort zone, like if they ever get some big money and not in a month compare to some work that you need to do slow payment and low rate. I think most of them will continue on gambling again. This addiction cant be handled with simple thing

There are many sources to help keep you away. Just google gambling addiction help. Many are free

thats only if the addict is willing to seek help, most of the time they wont. after all, why would they try to get away from the only thing in life they enjoy? its the same with a drug addict, unless theres some huge event that changes their life, chances are theyll keep chasing whatever it is theyre addicted to until someone else helps them to stop.

Yeah gambling for money is just risky, but if you are lucky that you can win big.
But is just better to do as a entertainment is just nice.

The thing that triggered my gambling addiction is Bitcoin and I don't think that I am able to "control" the Bitcoin. But my gambling addiction are not really serious, TBH.

anything that triggers your addiction should be inside of u, u should find out and control it. not all the fault is from sth outside like btc.
any addiction should be dangerous, or it will soon, or even worse: u just haven't realised it. maybe it not really serious just when u're really really rich.
