it seems to be difficult. when you win in your gambling will continue to play and when you lose your gambling will continue to try to win it. very difficult to stop here.
It means you are addicted even you are losing your money for nothing. I think you can save your addiction for taking a vacation or you need a Psychiatrist To know what is the best way to stay away in gambling. Honestly im not addicted in any gambling but sometimes it comes to my mind that i need some money or i want to win because if i win i can spend it for my gf or anything you want. but im so wise because i didnt use my real saving in any gambling instead i use faucet bonus to try my luck. Maybe i can win without a real capital..after that i will stop if i cant win. |

That means you are addicted already. If someone not addicted yet they can still stop their gambling for a while although they always want to recover their loss but still they can hold it. May be you should find other thing to do beside keep on gambling so your mind will distract and gradually you can hold your passion to gamble again |

It is possible as I know because there is still much more thing that you can do than keep on thinking gambling to recover some of your loss. I thought someone mentioned this many times that gambling is not the same as drug because if you are using drug it will drag you to use it but gambling, it is not going to drag you or whatever all about this is in your mind, whether you can't control it you will keep falling into this |

It is possible as I know because there is still much more thing that you can do than keep on thinking gambling to recover some of your loss. I thought someone mentioned this many times that gambling is not the same as drug because if you are using drug it will drag you to use it but gambling, it is not going to drag you or whatever all about this is in your mind, whether you can't control it you will keep falling into this But it is nothing more different than drugs either.The person has to do the same amount of efforts to control himself from gambling like he will be doing it for drugs.Though it might be depending on how far the person has gone into his addiction.It will drag you in some sense. |

The best method IMO is holding all your BTC in an offline wallet (preferably paper) and lock it in a vault in a bank or a far place IMO, you won't be able to get to it easily and if you play with the money your earn in bitcents it won't be good but not as bad as playing all your bitcoins.

what i like to do is just throw your spare btc into a fresh wallet and store the private key somewhere, then pretend you lost it in gambling, and a couple months later open up the wallet and suprise yourself to some btc.
Don't open the wallet unless you plan to sell/spend the coins. Otherwise you could still end up gambling them away. yeah I quite agree with your ideas, do not open the wallet, unless you want to sell coins to an urgent need, or perhaps do not open thread gambling and gambling sites, sometimes I feel jealous to person who win gambling, then I follow it |

I dont think studying is the best remedy against gambling... gambling is fun,whilst studying is not potentially losing everything you own and throwing your life into ruin isnt exactly fun either. if studying can keep someone away from gambling, great for them, they have something that can keep them away from a harmful habit. if fun is all youre after, just go throw everything you own at the casino, then say its fun again. |

That sounds like a good idea to do if you are truly addicted. I think that once you know you are addicted and are wanting to stay away from it, that's already a huge step in realization. You should seek out help for this addiction if you do want to stay away. |

I dont think studying is the best remedy against gambling... gambling is fun,whilst studying is not it depends on each person. the world is full of nerds find fun in studying. knowledge is the most worthy treasure in the world. among things like Holy Grail, Shangri La,..., the most wanted is the place contains every knowledge in the world. with knowledge, one can help ppl, can save the world. helping ppl is fun, saving the world is goddamn fun, for some ppl. and knowledge must be archived through studying. i'm a nerd and find fun in studying, too, because i believe knowledge is a really handy thing. studying things like English, btc,... brings me here. and goods teachers can spellcast studying become fun. |

Hmm, my father has a job yet he's what we can call as a problematic gambler. Idk but when you know that you have something to spend and you expect to get it, it somehow forces you to gamble (not saying all, but that is how I see it.) Yes, you can do other things that you can focus to, but in the long run if you can't resist gambling, it will crush you in the end. |

Still that is just difficult for people to stop gambling, because is just addicted. I think he should just seek for help from people like family or friends to just help you with it. Being busy like doing sport I think that will be the best choice. |
