How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ?

I set my own limits to what I can bet and how much overall I can gamble with every week.  I stick to it with no exceptions.  I think if you will set limits like this, you'll find that gambling can be a fun activity and it's okay to lose this small amount.

My neighbour try to do that but since he was too greedy to control their act , he gamble all of his wealth. Guess what ? He borrowed the money from his own family.
There's nothing can do except calling police to arrrest him up ! It's difficult to make gambler back into his normal life but still possible as long as consistency of family environment keep exist

There is a lot of measures need to be implied on him in order to help him overcome the addiction. This can even means controlling him for 24/7 cause his case seems very serious.

for those who have their livelihood is very difficult to play gambling .gambling part of the hobby. many people who think that by gambling one can feel great joy. I found no way to stop ourselves to play gambling.

well i do know people that are so used to gamble that it is really part of their lives. they have to gamble everyday and they able to find private gambling den to play even it is illegal.

Practically an addicted gambler just need an environment which gives him the feel of gambling and the feel of making profit. Just a stimulated way of gambling like video simulators will feed their gambling addictions without spending into actual gambling.

The best thing that you have to do to stay away from gambling is that you need to realize that gambling is bad and find something else that you like to do with gambling.

Yeah, finding real friends with different hobby could rally help. that would be instant shift of your attention if you give them a chance. Family too is a good blocking force to keep you away from gambling. But I do think that it still depends upon the reason why a gambler gamble, if he himself could not sort it out, I'm afraid it would be harder to get away with it.

I agree with you. I think that's a very good point.

For me, online gambling seems unreal almost. I have this feeling that 0.1 BTC isn't worth as much as 5 days' worth of lunch, for example. It's because they are just digits on the screen, after all. Unlike if you have a silver bar in your hand that weighs so dense.

You also get more convenient access to online casinos, which is a bad thing for a addicted gambler.

i am getting addicted to gambling.And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.

You seem like additive person. but it is not easy to left the gambling if you are addictive man, but also it is not possible. Only need determination than of course you can do it.
You should chance your mind. Note what the other game you like it so chocs it and start to play it, than you realize slowing slowing you will be left the gambling. Everyone start the gambling like a fun, and then it became dangerous for him. Gambling is a good but too much.

I think this method would be more helpful and you do not need to go out of gambling. you just need to separate the money for gambling on another wallet. be sure to gamble the amount according to your ability then you can gamble with the amount.

If you keep a wallet for gambling, and another wallet for everything else aside for gambling, then you know that you still have some more money left even if you lose all your gambling money. With this mindset, when you lose all of your money, you will surely pull out your another wallet and bet more. A gambling addict or even a simple gambler doesn't know how to discipline himself when the situation becomes intense and challenging. The better thing that you can do is that make someone else hold your money so that you wouldn't be able to gamble it.

Yes agree with that self discipline is the main key so you would not been getting hook to much in gambling and also take vacation for good and take of gadgets phone or any other paraphernalia that can trigger you to gamble more, the very best thing for that  if your already get addicted to much you might need psychological help.

Going with your friends and do productive things would make you stay away in gambling. To be honest, I was once addicted in gambling but with the help of my friends and family I was able to quit it completely.
